"Why is that?" micah answered with a question.
"Here you go, eat first" said Roma.
He did not want their conversation to be a quarrel at the dinner table where there is food that is a fortune for both of them in the morning.
"By the way," said Micah.
"Later on. All I want to talk about last night" said Roma.
Gluey!
At once, Micah felt difficulty swallowing the food that had entered his mouth.
This girl forgot the mistake she made last night. He remembered still living in the house of the aunt who was free to want him to go home at any hour as long as he still came home.
Micah thought last night this guy would scold her all out. It turned out that it was only delayed, for a while longer.
Micah, it feels like he wants to finish his breakfast and run off to campus but he remembers lessons will start at nine. So that the two of them still had time after this breakfast.
"Damn! What should I explain if he asks me where and what I did last night. There's no way I'm being honest with him" Micah's mind was confused.
He who planned to leave in the morning and then stopped by the workshop Fauzan was forced to undo his intentions because Rome would definitely invite him to leave together.
Finished also the meal, which seemed quite excruciating to Micah as he continued to feel noticed by Rome.
The man who incidentally was her husband also took her to the living room.
"Sit down and tell me what you did after you got home from college. Hurry up and at the core of it because we have to get to the university at half-nine" Roma insisted after looking at the circular watch on his wrist.
Micah turned to Rome with a questioning look. "Do you have to?"
The leaning Rome was now advancing her body while looking at Micah with her gentle gaze. "of course. Because you are my responsibility. Whatever will happen to you, even if it is just a hair that falls out, then I will be responsible for it in the world and in the hereafter" Roma replied with a tone as calm as possible.
"Why is that? My body is mine. You or anyone else has no right to regulate it. Whatever I want to do, no one can resist or forbid!" hatch Micah.
"Mikha-" Rome paused her words for a while by looking back inside at this beautiful girl who had full lips before her.
"On what basis can you say such a thing just now? Do you have a letter or certificate of ownership?" cecar of Rome, in the hope that Micah could answer his question. However, it was seen that the girl moved her bead of eyes in a huff at the time of searching for answers.
"I am not an item. Why should there be any ownership papers?" ketus Micah again. His seat began to be silent, and many times looked at his watch. He had already sent a chat to Fauzan that he would be coming to the workshop soon.
Rome laughed softly. "Try to look at Micah. Goods that in fact are man-made, then if you want to be owned by someone there must be a ownership letter with the appropriate price change. Then, did God when he created us and asked for payment for what he had given to this creature? So, on what basis ... so easily claim that self and body is a right of private property, if life alone can not we hold. Where all know that this spirit can leave the body at any time without any notice or notification," rome's speech which he spoke was able to make Micah feel as if something was pouring into his heart.
The girl seems to be getting carried away with emotions because it is Micah's nature lately it is easy to get angry.
"Because, literally humans are bound to each other. Like the bond between parent and child, husband and wife is also between teacher and student. So, some of those I mentioned have the right or the right to charge your obligation to him" Roma explained patiently.
"I don't like people to rule my life. Whoever it is! That's why I don't like this relationship! I don't like being bound by humans who can only curb and regulate women's freedom!" cry Micah, who seems to have misunderstood the meaning of Rome's concern for him.
Rome must finally take her deep breath back. Trying to keep a cool head in the face of Micah who was really raised with a lack of religious knowledge.
"Mikha, relax. I'm not here to argue with you or even scold you because you came home too late. I am your husband, the man appointed by your father and by the state as your protector and in charge. Just wanted to know what my wife had done until she came home late. Do you think I don't feel worried? Do you think I'm calm without any bad thoughts flashing that make my brain feel like it wants to break?" roma firmly.
Not to press Micah but to make the girl understand what the question meant.
"alright. But after I say everything, I hope there are no restrictions or anything. Because if I did, I'd rather just end this marriage!" mikha's sniffle with her chest rising and falling held back her emotions.
Roma have to be very patient. Micah was the task and test that God had sent him.
Rome seemed to be massaging the base of her nose, while looking for the next answer.
Talking with his wife should not be arbitrary because Micah is a dominant girl who has a critical nature and is somewhat rebellious.
"Okay Micah, I promise I won't ban any of your activities while it's still on the right track according to religion and the norms of society. I will never limit your association as long as you keep your honor and mine" Roma said in the end.
Micah seemed to think hard. Considering which part he wanted to reveal to the figure of this stern man before him.
"Today I picked up the bike at a friend's workshop. Because I can't pay for it, I'm in a wild race. Last night we got caught by the police and therefore I had to run away to hide until it was safe, just to be able to go back home" explained Micah without looking at the person he was talking to.
Because honestly, Micah was not strong to linger in Rome's eyes.
The man had a magnet that seemed to be able to pull himself up to drown in there. Micah had vowed to himself to stay away from the thing his name was in love with. He doesn't want to deal with men if it's using the heart.
It was enough for him to be heartbroken once and it felt really bad. Especially with people who really we consider meaningful and truly love.
As good as any man will leave a wound in your heart in the end.
Like the father who eventually left the mother until he could not have a full family.
"You, motorcycle gang boy, Micah?" ask Roma with a pias face.
...Seriate...
