No lies (Part 1)

"Nom, I want to take you somewhere. There's something I want to talk about there."

"Where?" Ask Naomi.

"Wait for us to get there, I'll explain everything."

Dino took me to a secret room that was always locked. Dino unlocks that and tells me to come in. "What room is this No?" My toot. Turns out, this is his father's workspace, Om Hendrik. Then, what is he doing here? Why did he bring me here?

We stopped right in front of his father's desk. The table I saw was made of real teak wood and everything is still nice and well maintained. He knelt before me, and took my hand. "Naomi, I love you. I don't want to hide anything from us be it the past or the present. I'll tell you everything." His words scared me. What is this, why is he scaring me.

"Nom, I want you to read this book." Dino opened the desk drawer and picked up a book. The notebook belonged to his father, Hendrik. The note was written by Hendrik 27 years ago. At that time, Dino and Naomi were young. What is written is the harsh reality that once ravaged his household with Dino.

"Dina.." Naomi. He shed his tears. Dino warmly hugged him, though,

"I want you to be able to escape the past, and truly forgive me. I don't want our two kids to have to accept the impact. I don't want you to know from anyone else." Added.

Naomi could not help but hold back her tears that flooded her face. He held Dino's hand tightly. The man, look at her. "Nom, what you read is correct. The note was written on my papa the day after..." I stopped Dino from continuing her words. I can't hear it, my emotions are drained for this. I didn't want to believe what I was reading, let alone hear it straight from Dino's mouth. I can't afford it. I could only hug Dino tightly hoping I couldn't hear him. Nah! I don't want to hear it.

"Naomi, you need to hear it. I don't want this to be a boomerang for us. It's a time boom." Dino

"No Dino... I don't want to hear it. You're not afraid our lives will be ruined?"

"Naomi. It will be a time bomb for us and especially our children. If one day you don't hear from my mouth, what will you do? Asking me to divorce, separate our son? I want you to be completely finished with the past."

"What would you do if you heard this from someone else? Do you want to hear my explanation? Will you go and file for divorce?" The question can't answer Naomi. "I want us both healed. I want to let go of the past. This load Nom. I don't want to lie to you, Nom."

Naomi just fell silent, "Nom. You should know the truth, this note was written by my father the day after the accident that claimed the lives of your parents. And I was there, that day my father took me to the hospital because I was sick. On the way, our car met your car and there was an accident."

When it was raining so fast, Dino experienced high heat. Hendrik decides to take little Dino to the hospital. She was worried something might happen to her son. "Pa.. It's raining big, the road must be slippery too." Prevent Ratih. "Ma, we need to bring Dino whatever happens. Mom at home waiting for info from mom." Hendrik said before leaving with Dino.

On a dark and slightly light road, Hendrik drove in a hurry. Do not know if in the third of the road there are other cars that want to walk to the house. It was Naomi's family car and her entire family including her stepfather. It was unexpected that they met in such a tragic way. Naomi's car accidentally hits a tree and her parents die in the rest of her and her surviving brother's place. Hendrik panicked, he then went to take Dino and asked his secretary to take care of it all. After a week and the three children were conscious. Hendrik was the one who took care of Naomi to live in the orphanage. And 3 years later, Naomi and Dino meet for the first time.

"We met 3 years later, and I caused the fire. Cause of this wound, papa took me to treatment, hypnotherapy. So, I forgot everything. I never remember my past. But I have the same trauma of a burning fire. I only found out when Mom gave me this book and I met this teddy bear. The doll I fought with you that day."

"Bad you are Dino." The reply. "I want you to forgive me. Sorry my father. Sorry my family. Gilang is my father's man to destroy our relationship." This surprised Naomi.

"Deliver?" Naomi in shock, Dino hugged her again and assented. "Before we broke up, Gilang came to my office and explained everything. Scholarships, the cost of living all arranged for my father. The spark that is always there for you, help you find a job and make us misunderstand. I misunderstood you for years. I pushed you." Naomi hugged Dino tightly.

"Din, I love you so much. I did feel comfort in Gilang when you messed with me. But, I never thought of cheating on you." Dino was conscious and accepted everything. "I felt really sorry for all that my father had done. Then, I was stupid to decide you. Supposedly, I'll face it and fix it instead of running." He apologized to Naomi again. Naomi was still crying incessantly. He hit Dino with his hand. "Evil-evil!"

"Yes I'm evil, Nom. I told you all. Is there anything you want to tell me ?" Naomi shook her head. "Will you stay with me ?"

Naomi was silent. Dino knew for sure the answer was no. "I know your answer, I can't understand. But at least there's nothing else I cover, I'm relieved Nom. Let me keep seeing Milka and Domi." Dino, hand over the divorce papers form, "If you fight sooner, I'll be there and not run away." Dino also shed her tears. He kept trying hard to walk away.

Nom, I don't want you to regret it. I want you to be happy. I want to be your seat. But you can't even be honest with me. This is how I protect you.
