Difficult to forgive
Day after day changed but Hana still with his stance not to come to see his father who he knew his condition was currently being critical in the hospital. Although every day Dika always persuaded him to come to the hospital just to see the condition of his Papa remotely but Hana still insisted on his stance not to see the papa.
The pain that her papa had been scratching all this time really made Hana turn into a stone man who was very difficult to forgive what her father had done first. Bukab only to himself, but also to his mother. Moreover, the pain made him have to take off Dika and make the man he loved so much hate him for many years.
"Well, don't you want to come?" Gerry asked as he looked at the helpless figure before him at this moment.
Dika nodded. His gaze was blankly staring at the face of his in-laws who looked so pale.
Gerry breathed for a moment. "Aren't you trying to persuade him?" Ask Gerry.
Dika cut off her eyes from her in-laws and stared flatly at Gerry. "I've done it. But Hana's defense is so hard to break down." Obviously Dika.
"Let's get out." Take Gerry who already understands the current situation.
Dika turned her body then stepped out of the room followed by Gerry.
"I think you already know clearly how Papa Hana is doing right now." Gerry said when they were already in the work room Dika who was on the top floor of the hospital.
Dika leaned his tired back on the back of the chair and closed his two eyelids. "My wife is so hard to persuade." Dika said without replying to Gerry.
"I knew. It wasn't easy for Hana to just forget what had happened to her all along." Reply Gerry. All this time Gerry enough to know how difficult the life of Hana and Mama after the betrayal of his father. Even Hana was willing to sacrifice her love for feeling unworthy to be on Dika's side.
Silence began to envelop their conversation as Gerry and Dika drifted in their respective thoughts.
"I think it's good that we're picking up Mama Hana right now." Gerry said after a long time of thought.
Dika straightened his body back up. "What do you mean?" Ask Dika.
"At least right now you can do what might happen before breaking down Hana's defenses. I'm not sure Papa Hana's current condition we can still waste a lot of time." Gerry said meaningfully.
"Are you sure?" Ask Gerry.
Dika nodded for sure. "Before it's too late." Reply Dika.
Gerry nodded confirming and then got up from his seat. "Didn't you tell Hana first?" Gerry asked when Dika took his car keys.
"I'll give it to you later." Reply to Dika and then walk to the door of his office.
Just one foot out of his study room Dika was surprised by the existence of William who was talking to his personal assistant.
"Where do you want to go?" ask William while staring at the car keys that are still in Dika's hands.
"We want to pick up Aunt Rita." Reply Gerry.
William nodded in understanding. "Then I'll come. I'll help Dika persuade Aunt Rita to come here." William was serious.
"As far as you go." Reply to Dika and then continue his steps.
