The words that came out of Dika's mouth a few minutes ago were able to tear down the defense of the sobbing Mama Rita that she had been holding.
"Sister Rauf..." Mama Rita was sobbing in the doorway staring at the entire body of her ex-husband who was now covered in cloth. Beside Papa Rauf's body, his wife and stepson cried and roared calling Papa Rauf's name and asked Papa Rauf to come back to life.
"Go quietly Brother Rauf.." said Mama Rita softly and closed her mouth so that the sobbing was not heard.
"Mama.." a gentle pat on her shoulder by Dika made Mama Rita look back.
"Cry if you can't hold it." Said Dika who seemed to understand the contents of Mama Rita's heart at this time.
"In the air..." Mama Rita covered her face and cried sobbing.
Realizing the condition of her parents-in-law who was devastated to see her father-in-law who had gone home made Dika take the initiative to take Mama Rita away from the ICU room.
"Ma-mama never thought it would end up like this." Mama Rita said in her tears.
"We never know what fate first picked us up, Mama." Dika.
Mama Rita raised her head. Staring at his daughter-in-law's face with tears. "If Mama used to feel pain because Mama and Papa separated because of another woman, but now it feels more painful because Mama had to see our last farewell by death." Mama Rita said and then came back crying.
Dika could only stroke Mama Rita's shoulder trying to calm her down. Dika quite understand if Mama Rita until now still put her feelings on Papa Rauf who never changed into the owner of her heart since long ago. Although Papa Rauf has managed to take his life away from his life and live his life with another woman of his choice, but Mama Rita has never succeeded in removing the name of Papa Rauf from his heart.
"Think of the departure of Papa, Ma.." said Dika.
Mama Rita nodded. "Mama gave it to me but it's really painful, Dika." Mama Rita said sobbing.
Dika also chose silence and let Mama Rita release the tightness in her chest. After a few minutes passed and Mama Rita looked calm, Dika also spoke up again.
Mama Rita raised her bowed head. "Hana, yes, she should see her Papa one last time." Mama Rita agreed with Dika.
"Let's go home and come back with Hana, Ma." Bring Dika.
Mama Rita sighed heavily and nodded in agreement to Dika's words. "Come on." Reply Mama Rita and then get up from her seat.
Dika nodded and let Mama Rita walk first in front of him.
"Hana. I hope you can break down your ego after hearing your father's departure. I know you're not that hard woman. I know that the wound that Papam inflicted was so deep that you're so hard to heal." Mumbles Dika while continuing to walk behind Mama Rita's body.
While in front of the hospital, Dika and Mama Rita stop their steps to see Gerry and William walking hastily towards them.
"When, how?" Gerry asked with a breath that sounded up and down.
"I didn't make it." Said Dika with a meaningful look.
