Not Ordinary Love (Vampire Love Story)
A Mother's Feelings

It rained again today. More than yesterday. The noise of billions of drops of water falling on the earth, was heard reaching the Hospital. The room temperature still feels cold even though the heating is turned on.

As cold as those who wait for their families with anxious hopes. Linking fingers to each other, neutralizing anxiety. Their lips continue to say the same word, “May there be a miracle,”

Doctor Sakti stepped quickly down the deserted corridor of the hospital. There were only a few sisters and families of one-two patients who passed by. Strange virus attacks that occur, making the Hospital implement a new policy. Patients should only be waited for by the family, maximum two people. It should not be visited, although it is not yet known whether the virus will spread through physical contact or not. Just anticipate all the bad possibilities that could happen.

The doctor raised his wrist, slashing slightly the sleeves of the white suit that became his identity. At 6:30 in the morning, he muttered. When looking at the circular time marker comfortably on his wrist. It was as if it was seeking warmth on its cold body. The hospital is still quiet, more precisely made quiet because of the new regulations.

In the meantime, the rain, although the cold did not bother him, still this was not his habit. For the precious life. That's how he strengthens himself. Her eyelids are slightly blackened. It's not that he's a vampire, so he's never tired. There must be a taste in every creature that needs to eat and drink. As powerful as he is.

His footsteps turned at the end of the corridor, toward ward 305. Where the infected patients are treated. Every day someone dies, but there are new residents. This room never sleeps. Although it looks warm and comfortable, entering this place is not the ideals of everyone.

His steps slowed slightly as he passed through the waiting room seats lined up on the right and left. Put a clean white wall behind him. The chair and the wall were like they were talking, looking at them so close. Whispers, no one wants to steal their conversation.

Each of the long chairs was filled by a pair of families. Fathers. Sisters. Mother-sons. And the others. They link hands together, give strength with a soft swipe on the boat. The sound of raindrops out there overflowing their sobs. No words said. They're all quiet. Pray in each other's hearts. Even so, that tighter and tighter finger link, already said it all.

Hope everything's okay.

Everyone stood up aware of Dr. Sakti. Staring expectantly, hopefully through his hands, the Lord sent medicine. Though their minds are in revolt, impossible. There is no cure for this virus. But again their conscience hopes, may there be a miracle.

Sakti paused for a moment, gazing in pairs of eyes staring at her with teary eyes.“I will try as much as possible. The prayer of all of you is the greatest strength for the brethren who are betting their lives inside. Whatever the outcome, I hope that everyone can sincerely accept the will of God Almighty. We can only try, the rest let God determine.” Trying to smile, strengthen the heart that is no longer intact, because of seeing the suffering of loved ones.

“Thank you Doctor,” Answer them almost simultaneously. With their own eyes, they saw how the medical personnel in this hospital had tried their best. Give up all their thoughts and sweat to find the best way. They save hundreds of lives every day. Although anyone should end up in deep sorrow, what else would they want? If God Wants to.

Doctor Sakti's shady eyes accidentally met a woman who was about in her sixties. The skin is mature sapodilla, the body is a little thin, wearing a simple hijab typical of salem-colored mothers. His hands were clinging to each other in front of his trembling lips.

Staring with teary eyes. Doctor, please save my daughter. Those were the unspoken words he heard from a heart-reinforcing mother, for the sake of the princess. Strengthen yourself, because there are no relatives seen accompanying. Although only rubbing his frail shoulders, or even grasping his wrinkled hands.

Doctor Sakti approached the mother. Staring in the shade,”I'll try Mom. May Allah allow,” Kata Sakti softly.

The mother was a little flabbergasted, did she hear the contents of my head? Ask in the heart. Then a heart-wrenching sobbing sounded from his lips. The mother was sobbing, remembering her daughter's life-threatening negatives. Woey circumstances. His thin body, now completely resided bones and skin. “Duh Gusti Allah, what's our fault?” her voice was stamped because of her sobs.

“Sabar Bu, every difficulty must have a way. Whatever God's will is best for his creatures. Although sometimes painful. I have to be sincere and patient. Sorry if I sound patronizing,” Gently rubbing Mom's shoulder. He sat back in the long chair of the waiting room.

“I have never heard that sentence from anyone Doctor. Doctor was right, I have to be sincere,” His voice stuck in the throat.

Be sincere, is not an easy word to be realized.

“Just pray for the best Mom, God always hears do’a his servant who is earnestly asking for help. I believe it.”

“You are good Muslim Doctor, May the Gusti Allah protect you,”

“Ma’af has interfered with your time,” Linking hands in front of chest.

“It's okay, I'm amazed by Mom. Mom is a great woman,” Smile.

The mother also smiled, though forced. Following with a hopeful look, the magic back that walked over and disappeared behind the outpatient room door.

Arriving Sakti in the room, she was greeted by the guard sisters. Wear a uniform that is consistent with health protocols. Towards a bed located between the rows of beds of other patients.

A female patient is fighting death. His eyes continued to glare upwards, his breathing sounding up and down. There was a soft sound of a moaning voice withstanding the pain, which he tried to let out. Clear crystals were seen dripping in the corner of his eyes.

“Name?” checking the pulse.

“Ayuni Sekartaji,Dok. Twenty years old. Just arrived last night, but the state of the patient is getting worse every hour,” Sister keep informing the patient.

“There is family outside?”

“From known data, the patient is delivered only by his mother.”

Sakti said pity to the girl's eyes, please save me Doc, mother's favor. Amidst her struggle to hold back the life that had been over the horns, the girl tried to plead through her eyes. Which certainly Sakti also heard it.

“I will try. Hold on for your mother,” Then take appropriate medical action.

His heart rate has stabilized, though he is still weak. His breathing began to slow. He survived. Somehow the virus did not torture him as much as other patients. Although his body also looks dry, but no blood comes out of his mouth, nose, or eyes are glaring. It's just that he often has difficulty breathing and his heart rate suddenly weakens.

Using her abilities as a Vampire, she tried to read the past events that this girl had experienced. Swiped his head, then closed his eyes for a moment. Same results as the previous patient. Their memories of the cause of the incident, such as being deliberately erased. There's no trace of anything but that mark on the neck. Two blackened dots.

Doctor Sakti sees the memories before the girl leaves the house. A small house that looks simple. The girl wears the typical uniform of a minimarket guard, “Yuni departs yes Bu,”tamitan while kissing the hand of the Mother.

“Iyo nduk ati-ati,”answer a mother who had a chat with Sakti in the waiting room. So, they're mother and son?

“Nggeh Bu,”answered the girl called Yuni.

The mother looked like she was holding back a disturbing feeling. Seem not willing to let go of his son. “Yun? Don't you want to find another job? I'm always worried that you're coming home at night,”

The girl smiled,”Mother, Yuni must be fine. Don't worry, if something bad happens, don't be sad. Yuni must be strong,”laughs softly. Then leave the mother.

After that there was no more incident, immediately to the incident he was found lying on the side of the road, and was taken to this Hospital.

Shit, the sakti swore in the heart. Again he could not get any information. His hands clenched furiously. Do I have to go to the land of darkness? Mumbled.
