Not Your Perfect Prince

Not Your Perfect Prince
Rain In Spring

"Then let me be their guide!"

Tommy patted his chest proudly. Staring towards the four girls with a confident smile on his face.

Grandma Agatha who finished signing the agreement stared at her granddaughter with wide eyes.

"What do you think, boy?! I won't let you go!"

"They don't believe there's a safe route, so I'll prove it!" tommy said firmly.

"Although through the safe route, it was not uncommon for there to be second-rate magic beasts around that route. That's dangerous! So I won't let you go!" Grandma Agatha stomped her staff with an angry expression.

"You have no right to stop me, Old Grandma!"

"B-this little bastard ..." Grandma Agatha gritted her teeth. "Go! Go and die like your mom and dad!"

"..."

Tommy looked towards Grandma Agatha with an incredulous look on his face. He simply pointed without being able to reply to the old woman's words. After a while, the man immediately left the place.

Seeing Tommy leave, Grandma Agatha let out a long sigh. His face looked even more wrinkled, older than before.

"Sorry for making you see such an unpleasant sight." Grandma Agatha said with a wry smile on her face.

"Everyone has their own problems" Reinhart responded politely.

"If you guys come just for this matter, I hope you guys leave soon."

Keeping the covenant letter, Reinhart rose from her seat. He bowed a little and then said.

"Then we'll excuse you. Sorry to bother you."

After saying that, Reinhart turned around. The four girls got up and saluted. They immediately caught up with Reinhart in a hasty manner.

After getting out of the house, Delia could not help but ask.

"Are we leaving now, Senior?"

"It's up to you." Reinhart countered flatly.

"Eh???" The four girls were surprised.

"Of course it's up to you. I'm here to supervise, not lead and lead you."

The five of them then went out of town. Take a leisurely walk while enjoying the city view. Of course, everything seemed more beautiful and convenient as there were not some random little villains trying to stop them.

Passing through the city gates, a loud noise stopped them.

"WAIT!"

Looking back, Reinhart and the girls looked at Tommy's exhausted-looking figure. He was sweating profusely, his breathing going up and down as he forced himself to keep running. The young man also carried a large backpack on his back.

"What are you doing here?" reinhart asked with a flat expression on her face.

"I'll go with you! I'm more puffed with the terrain around. If you take me, everything will be safer and more comfortable."

Tommy patted his chest with a confident expression.

Reinhart glanced at the four girls. It's up to them whether to accept or reject Tommy.

Sensing Reinhart's gaze, the four girls felt indecisive. At that moment, Hilda advanced. The girl asked with a serious expression on her face.

"Why are you coming with us? If you come along just because you want to show that you are reliable, that is completely unnecessary.

Just tell me your real purpose."

Hearing Hilda's words, Tommy was a little surprised. His expression turned serious. After taking a deep breath, he finally said.

"I need to take something. It just so happens that the location is not so far from the route you will pass. As for what it is, I won't say it.

To be sure, I want us to be able to help each other. I show you the way, and you'll protect me if something unexpected happens."

"Should we take him? I mean ... If there were no accidents, things would go much smoother, wouldn't they?

Even if we encounter some level two monsters, we can defeat them. We're not really losing, are we?" Delia also expressed her opinion.

"But we have no advantage either. Even if you have it, it's just a small advantage. Only that person is the only one getting enough profit" Hilda said, staring at Tommy dissatisfiedly.

"Anu .. We don't have to debate this, do we?" mary was worried. Seemingly afraid that Delia and Hilda are at odds.

"good. We can take him." Hilda decided to surrender. "Of course, except in a fight, he has to take care of himself."

"You don't mind, do you?" delia asked as she glanced at Tommy.

"Of course it doesn't matter!"

Tommy patted his chest with a happy expression on his face.

Reinhart stared at them in silence. Not commenting at all. Let them make their own decisions.

***

In the afternoon.

In addition to taking a break for lunch, the small group continued walking. They seem pretty rushed. Although it was only half-four in the afternoon, they had already reached the point where they would rest overnight.

Seeing how they had made detailed plans, Reinhart nodded in satisfaction. Although it was a bit spoiled, obviously the girls were not stupid.

Looking up at the sky where the gray clouds were covering it, Reinhart said nothing.

"As per the plan, we'll set up a tent here." Delia said casually.

"It's too early to set up a tent. How about continuing the journey? In one and a half to two hours, we can definitely reach a longer distance. There are some points where we can set up a tent."

As a local, Tommy expressed his opinion.

"No!" hilda said firmly. "We will go according to plan. If you're not satisfied, you can continue on your own."

Hearing the reply, Tommy was somewhat dissatisfied. But the young man remained silent. He glanced towards Reinhart for support. With the power of 'supervisors', they would definitely give face and advance.

It was just that, Reinhart did not care at all. He chose a place far enough away from them to set up his own tent.

Hilda set up a tent with Maria. Delia sets up a tent with May. They set up two tents because after thinking it through, sleeping both was safer than alone. They also realized that setting up two tents was more than enough.

There is absolutely no need to waste more energy on something unnecessary!

Meanwhile, Reinhart who finished setting up the tent and putting up all the necessary supplies left. He ignored the curious gazes of the girls, doing his own business.

"Hey, Student Reinhart? Is it better we share the tent because—"

Tommy approaches Reinhart to speak, but is interrupted before his words are finished.

"I refuse.

First, I don't know you so don't be too familiar with me. Secondly, you and I are not part of the group, so it is better to take care of each other's affairs. Third, don't interfere in my business or I won't hesitate to hurt you."

After saying that, Reinhart turned around to go towards the forest. Leaving Tommy silent in his place.

About an hour and a half later, Reinhart returned. At that moment, the rain began to fall. Moisturize the entire forest and the ground beneath it.

The four girls looked a little panicked as they did not expect that it would rain. But they also seemed quite relieved to have prepared various types of food before leaving.

Tommy looks pretty bad. He planned to hunt to show his prowess to the girls, but the rain came just like that.

Meanwhile, Reinhart instead started lighting the lighting equipment. Prepare various cooking utensils, then remove the ingredients. Among them, there was a large rabbit and three fish that had been cleaned. The hunting results he had obtained earlier!

While Reinhart cooked while enjoying the sound and sight of the rain, the young man quietly whispered.

"Rain in spring .. I hope this is a good sign rather than a bad one."
