Now Or Soon U Mine!

Now Or Soon U Mine!
12. Guilty Feelings Bara

"Bara, here's the script. You can exercise 10 minutes," said Om Panji directing. Bara just nodded in a daze. He does not understand his fate now. How can, the model world that was opposed by his father now even moved to the world of film. Even his own mother became his manager. His father was also adem-adem aja, there was no anger or resentment when he left.

As Mama said after breakfast, they set off to the set in one of the famous cafes in Bandung. He himself is confused about his profession as an actor.  Some of the awards found in his home prove, he really seriously pursued a career in the world of film. Within 4 years, one best lead title, and 3 most popular companion cast of newcomers were neatly displayed in the living room closet.

Read a pretty thick book. It was told Bara had to apologize to his co-star because he cheated on her. After the apology, there was no other dialogue, the main cast dominated the scene. His heart trembled, in his current condition, there was no experience whatsoever in acting. Want to not, he must do. The production of the film was almost over, it had already reached the climax. But it was a very tough challenge for him, there emotions had to explode in order to touch the hearts of the audience.

Bara prepared his voice. Memorizing the line of sentences, strengthening his heart first.

"I. I'm sorry." he said in a low voice. "Ah, too mushy" he commented himself. Frowning his forehead, dramatizing his acting, his hands slightly raised like one reading a poem. "I... I'm sorry!" the snapping raises the volume of the sound, the camera was jerked, then membilumnya.

"I'm sorry what's fighting?" a typical voice of a girl disperse her focus. Akilla came wearing a black shirt with a roll of paper in his hand.

Bara turned, then cleared awkwardly. "Gue's just looking at the role."

Akilla smiled cynically, then sat down on the bench next to her. "Do I want to help you? Gini-gini, I've been to opera" bargained Akilla a little snobbish. Yeah, he's been with. Farewell time when graduating Junior High.

"Attract, the role of being a tree" Trifled Bara in disbelief. Akilla's face was less convincing.

"Her son, my role is Dayang Sumbi in the story of Gatot Glass!" the defense he did even invited laughter Bara. "Kalo want bo'ong, pinteran little. Where is the Dayang Sumbi in the story of Gatot Glass!" The girl next to him harrumphed in embarrassment, "t-continue to suffer what?"

"Lake Toba."

This time it was Akilla who was laughing out loud. Holding her stomach and patting her own knees, laughing too hard. "I'm not intro! Don't insult fellow****-lers! Haha." huh." They laughed, laughing at their stupidity.

"That's what Sumbi said in Pinocchio's story!" Akilla immediately stopped his laughter, staring at the cold Bara. "His solute to the veins" he muttered inexhaustibly, though he again laughed at Bara, whose own people were still confused as to why he laughed.

The laughter finally came to a halt when Om Panji arrived, reporting that filming was about to begin.

Anxious feeling came back to Bara. Though he had just read one sentence out of 5 dialogues that he had to recite. Bara left without saying goodbye to the chair by the big window that led to the street.

"Barbarian! Bentar, here!" call Akilla before Bara goes too far.

"Lo not saying good to me?!" his screams fused his eyebrows looking furious. Both of his hands were kept at his waist.

Bara looked at her confusedly, "well, just go here!" reply shouted.

"No! Apologize now! Kalo gak–"

"Akilla, here! You monitor the location of the camera, don't be in there mulu!" namel Om Panji who is busy checking the lighting to fit and look natural.

The girl did not continue the conversation, her index and middle fingers pointed at her own two eyes and directed at Bara. It was as if he would watch over every move of the man.

Before starting the filming process, the crew in charge of preparing Bara's appearance to fix her makeup to look fresh but naturally not made-up. Everyone there seemed ready to do their job. Om Panji spoke through a loudspeaker, checked all preparations, so there was no problem when shooting.

Bara's eyes closed in on the dialogue she kept reading, trying to remember all of it in seconds.

His mind floated instead considering Akilla's annoyance, the problem he did not share with her. What, what's wrong? He was also in the same location. Should he say goodbye? Presumably, this sudden job left his mind dead-end and slightly shaken. So very sensitive to trivial things.

Bara's confusion hid the heartbeat that had been pounding fast.

In the scenario paper mentioned, he had to sit in a chair that had been prepared. There, several makeup artists swarmed a beautiful and graceful woman–seen as Om Panji announced that all was preparing on the spot. The crowd dispersed, leaving behind a beautiful wave-haired woman who also took the time to recite her dialogue.

The mind is not in his body. Until he sat down, his head lowered with a blank look full of regret. His heart suddenly felt guilty. This work is heavy because it comes without cue, even so, Bara can at least overcome it. His work as a powerful model eliminates the disease of camera fever that often bothers people who are not used to face the camera directly. But Akilla's job is very heavy. The science of film must have been very little known. He was sure Om Panji had taught him something about film, but, Akilla was definitely not an expert on it.

"Action!"

Mind slumped. Bara doesn't know what he should do. The first thing to overcome is, the shock earlier, fortunately can be hidden easily.

The thin-cheeked woman showed an annoyed look at him. Somehow, the sharp nose was turned into a small nose, sexy thick lips turned into small thin lips blushed, thin cheeks dimpled evolved into cubby cheeks. In short, the opponent playing before him was as if exchanging bodies into Akilla.

Bara bit her lower lip, awkward. "I'm sorry." she said. Really, the feeling is not good. Guilt just comes out.

"Sorry, I don't mean to make–" Bara's word series interrupted instantly, "where are your thoughts? Do you know what you're doing is wrong?" Akilla increased in volume, eyes of anger and disappointment pierced Bara's heart. I looked at him deeply. There are no not so serious eyes that he often sees.

Is the problem really complicated? Thought Bara was weird. "Why indeed? What about that doang dibutin?!" he held back anger. He did not mean that, only, the feeling of guilt turned out to be very burdened.

While Bara was feeling claustrophobic, mixed feelings in his chest, Om Panji clucked in awe watching the emotional fight. So did the original Akilla who was on his uncle's side. Talent cannot be doubted. Many women are crazy about him. Akilla admitted that. Merely, his high confidence buried all his admiration.

Yura–yang co-star Bara surprised. Bara's improvisation is neat and more memorable than the original scenario.  The man turned out to have changed a lot since graduating high school. Not to be outdone, he also improvised but not so deviated from the dialogue should be.

"That's doang? What doang said lo?! Where are your thoughts? So we broke up!" he stood up while standing. Sighs for a moment. Looking at Bara from the corner of the eye, the man was deathly pale, so natural and admirable. Next, he breezed away with a satisfied feeling.

"Cuts! Cut!" Om Panji yelled with pleasure. "Alright, today's filming is over! You've all worked hard, see you tomorrow!" a loud applause filled the room.

Bara who was still pondering was surprised to feel a clap on his crown. "Great work!" praise Akilla sincerely while making a smile.

"Good job?" forehead wrinkles imply confusion Bara. His feeling, he did nothing. He just apologized to Akilla for.... Wait, the Akilla before him was now wearing a black shirt exactly as he had seen it before filming. However, Akilla who sat a minute ago dressed in fashionable and glamorous.

Suddenly he felt his cheeks hot. But, he hid. "Yes dong, I'm a talent from a long time ago" Akilla looked at him cynically. Bara got up from the chair, clumsy thumping, "that's it, I. go to the toilet first" he said, with a nod.

Bara's awkward departure made Akilla chuckle. Fortunately, he was angry earlier so Bara could explore his role. If not, then finish their history.
