Strange Feelings

As a fresh breeze blew around her, Alexa even forgot the pain on her leg as Evan carried her.

The woman did not know, did she feel a sense of admiration? Feeling happy? Or something more serious? But his heart was not okay.

"Rest," said Evan after putting Alexa's body on his bed.

"If you need anything, call me."

"I'm going to the kitchen to make some food for you. Or do you want me to order a special meal? What do you want to eat?"

"No, I eat anything."

"All right, wait here."

Evan came out of Alexa's room. Just a few minutes later, the man returned with a loaf of bread with pineapple jam in the middle.

"It looks like the stock of groceries in the kitchen is empty. I just found this bread and jam. I'm sorry," said Evan.

"It's okay. I like this." Alexa smiled and nodded.

After making sure Alexa eats, Evan gives her painkillers and antibiotics that she gets from a P3K box.

"I'll cancel your date tonight, Miss. I'll set it up again once your condition improves."

"Is that okay?"

"of course. Your health is more important than anything."

"Hm." Alexa nodded. He let Evan go so he could rest.

When Evan is no longer visible, Alexa daydreams. His mind was filled with all sorts of questions and statements about Evan.

"Why is he so kind? He was very polite and gentle. He's very considerate, he has many advantages, he's full of surprises."

Everything about Evan now makes Alexa so interested. The man who initially made her so uncomfortable and upset, has now turned Alexa's feelings into blooming flowers.

"Where did Papa find a man like Evan? Why isn't she the only one dating me?"

"Ah, I must be crazy."

"No, I'm crazy."

"How can I expect it?"

Alexa wants to scream. He becomes difficult to control his feelings so as to make his mind chaotic. The woman became restless, why so quickly could her thoughts about Evan change?

At five o'clock in the afternoon, Meera had reached the Alexa residence. The secretary was surprised when he heard Evan's story about the incident that happened to Alexa. Meera hurriedly calls Alexa to tell the woman if she has arrived.

Because other than the voice command from Alexa, no one can open the door of this house without knowing the special code as a backup key.

After the door lock opened, Meera hurriedly entered and approached Alexa to her room.

"Oh my God, Miss. How could this happen to you? Is this sick? Are you all right?" ask Meera worried. He noticed the bandage on Alexa's leg.

"It seems like the pain in my leg has moved here" Alexa replied as she touched her chest.

"You sick? Isn't your leg hurt?"

"Hmm, but here it feels more uncomfortable." Alexa's face looks serious.

"Are you having shortness of breath? Did you take the wrong medicine or something, miss. Please be clear again, you're making me anxious. Do we need to go to the doctor? I'll call the doctor!" Meera panic.

"No, I don't need a doctor, Meera. I don't know, it feels weird."

Meera is silent, she observes Alexa and feels that her boss is unwell. Meera doesn't even know what Alexa is talking about, and where they're going.

"Miss, you better take a break. I'll put your dress in the locker room. Evan has rescheduled your meeting with Dylan Jordan."

Meera brought the paper bag to the dressing room. She hung the dress she had just bought and placed it in Alexa's closet, lined with other fancy dresses.

"I'm going home, Miss. Rest," said Meera.

"Gee, Meera!" alexa stopped her secretary's steps.

"Yes?" Meera turned around as she had already arrived at the doorstep.

"Have you ever been in love?" ask Alexa.

"It's a random question, '" Meera murmured. He felt strange, was there something wrong with his boss?
