After Khayra disappeared, Ferdi regained consciousness and followed Khayra out of the room. Ferdi saw Khayra coming down the stairs. Run after the woman. If what Khayra said was true, if he would report Ferdi's deeds then his good reputation would be depleted in the eyes of their extended family.

Two more steps to the floor, Khayra's hand was pulled and she fell. Coinciding Barra's coming home. Seeing his brother being so rude to Khayra, the man became emotional.

The husband and wife approached him, and released Ferdi's hand grip on Khayra's wrist.

"Don't interfere, it's my wife's business!" shouts Ferdi. He wants to take Khayra upstairs again. Didn't want his mama or Barra to know what he had done to the woman.

"How can I not interfere in seeing a man who is rude to a woman, especially her wife."

Seeing Ferdi and Barra arguing, Khayra used the opportunity to run. Ferdi who realized it immediately chased after him. This made Barra suspicious. Why did Khayra run and Ferdi chase after her as if afraid of the woman doing something.

Arriving in the courtyard of the house, Barra saw Khayra who was trying to release his hand which was held by Ferdi.

"Let go! You have to be accountable for what you did. If you were a man, you wouldn't be scared and run. Dare to do must dare to take responsibility!" shout Khayra.

Security guards and drivers who were playing chess stopped their game and saw the husband and wife quarrel. They were astonished to see his master's son doing what else it was to his wife. All this time they knew Ferdi so well.

"What do you want to do!? Do you think you can report me? You forget who I am and who you are. Your report will not be processed. I'll stay free!" ferdi.

Barra who heard the quarrel was more and more curious about what happened. As their distance neared, Barra saw the corner of the lips of the woman he loved was bleeding. His cheeks also looked bruised. Understand Barra with what happened.

As Barra and Khayra were about to step up, Mama came by a hasty path. Seeing the child and his daughter-in-law going away he screamed a call.

"Wait on! Where are you two going?" say Mama. The middle-aged woman approached Barra and spontaneously slapped her son.

Barra and Khayra were shocked to see what she was doing. Why was Barra slapped? Shouldn't be Ferdi.

"Basic shameless child. You two dare cheat in front of Ferdi. Where is your shame? Lucky Ferdi's a good boy, let the two of you? If he reports you to the police on the basis of an affair, what can you do?" mama said with a shout.

"I'm going to the police station, Ma. To make the KDRT report that Ferdi did to Khayra. Look at this, Ma!" barra pointed to the cheeks and corners of Khayra's lips.

Mama noticed that and saw Khayra's bruised cheeks with bloody corners. He just realized what happened. Mama approached Khayra.

"We can talk about all this inside. Shame if the neighbors see!" mama tried to persuade Khayra.

"I don't want to, Ma. It's enough Mas Ferdi to do this with me. How many times has he slapped me. If Mas Ferdi doesn't love me, he can divorce me. Do not commit violence. How dare it be just with me, because he knows I have nowhere to complain!" khayra.

Ferdi came forward and stood beside his mother. He held the woman's hand. "Ma, I did that because Khayra always denied when I asked her to stay away from Barra. What's wrong with me slapping a wife who doesn't want to hear a husband's words!" ferdi.

Mama rubbed her son's arm to give him support and strength for what happened. Mama nodded her head asking Ferdi to calm down.

"What Ferdi did is wrong because it forbids you to be violent. However, what you and Barra did was much more wrong. Cheating with my own sister-in-law. Can't you find another man to be your mistress?!" ask Mama with great emphasis.

Khayra held her chest that felt tight to hear her mother-in-law's words. Why is he wrong? Is this the fate of being a nobody? It's always wrong what he's doing.

Khayra took a deep breath before speaking. "Why am I to blame? Do Mama and Mas Ferdi have any evidence that I'm having an affair with Barra?" ask Khayra. He paused for a moment before continuing.

"Here the culprit was Mama Ferdi's son, but he seemed to be a victim. And my mom just believed it without looking for evidence. I'll bring proof of Mas Ferdi's affair to Mama. Let Mama not just blame me!" Khayra spoke with great emphasis.

Mama looked at Khayra with glaring eyes. Can't believe that his daughter-in-law would dare to speak so. She thought Khayra was an innocent and obedient child like her stepmother had said.

Actually Mama's already starting to know if her son Ferdi is not as good as she thinks. That's why mom married her son so quickly. Mama is looking for a gentle woman hoping to make Ferdi turn back into a good boy like all this time who she and the big family know.

Ferdi seemed to not accept Khayra's words as if blaming himself and his mother. For Ferdi no one can blame Mama. Ferdi came forward to approach the woman who had become his wife. Looking at Ferdi who was approaching Khayra, Barra also came forward and protected the woman behind her body.

Ferdi immediately clapped his hands to see Barra who missed Khayra. "Look Ma. What more evidence can I give you? Mama saw for herself that your son was protecting his lover, afraid that I might hurt him!" ferdi.
