At the Pagoda Sect Master, Long Yijun listened to Elder Xuan brief him on the situation with a serious expression on his face.
"Older Yao and Disciple Yuan .. were really annoying ..." Long Yijun rubbed his eyes with a tired expression afterwards.
"Are you going to do something about this, Sect Master?" Elder Xuan asked him.
After a moment of silence, Long Yijun shook his head and said, “Although I want to defeat Elder Yao for what he did to Disciple Yuan, Elder Bai had handled the situation and punished Elder Yao for his behavior. I appointed Elder Bai as the leader of the Discipline Hall for a reason, and I don't like to beat up dead horses, so I won't step this time.”
"I understand," Elder Xuan nodded.
Meanwhile, in building #70, Yuan closed the guidebook after reading through everything.
“Wow, there are so many interesting places in the Dragon Essence Temple! I will definitely visit all of them when I get the chance, especially this Dragon Pavilion restaurant aimed at Cultivators! I wonder what the difference is with the restaurant outside?” Yuan muttered to himself.
"Hmm, it's still too early for dinner, so I'll take a look." Yuan then got off the bed and walked out.
“What should I do now that I am a student? What do students usually do?” Yuan pondered to himself as he went out.
“Murid Yuan! Please wait a minute! ”
Yuan stopped walking when a clear voice rang out from behind him, causing him to turn around to see who had just spoken.
"You"
To her surprise, Fairy Min was outside her house and it seemed to be the one who had just called her.
“How do you know my name?” Yuan asked with raised eyebrows, as he did not remember ever introducing himself to her or any of the disciples from the disciple examination.
“I accidentally heard your conversation with Grand Elder Xuan and found out your name. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone about your relationship with the Grand Elder or what happened today. Fairy Min spoke as she approached her.
“I understand thank you?” Yuan responded with a puzzled expression on his face, as he was not sure what he was doing.
‘Will he try and kick me out too?’ Yuan wondered to himself.
As soon as Peri Min stood a few steps away from her, she spoke, “I haven't introduced myself yet. I am Min Li from one of the Seven Inheritance Families. And I want to apologize for what happened today. Even though I didn't know them, I should have intervened and told them to stop.”
“I know this may sound like I'm bragging, but when you come from a prestigious family like one of the Seven Inheritance Families, you know, there were always people like those students before following me around hoping they would benefit from me or mine, and it was better for me to act as if they weren't there most of the time, therefore why didn't I tell them to leave, ”Min Li explained to him after seeing his puzzled face.
“Of course, I'm sure you understand my feelings because you also seem to come from a strong family.”
"Uhh .." Yuan scratched his head with an awkward atmosphere around him, and he said, "But I'm not from a strong or prestigious family."
"Huh? You ain't?" Min Li looked at him with her eyes slightly widened in surprise.
If he did not come from a powerful or influential family, why would Grand Elder Xuan protect him from Elder Yao and the Inner Court disciples, let alone giving him a building in this area that was meant for people who had privileges. Surely, there must be something special about him!
‘So you want to hide your real identity, huh? I'll find out the truth sooner or later!’ Min Li thought inwardly while trying her best to remain calm outside.
“By the way, where are you going now?” Min Li suddenly asked him.
“To be honest I don't know myself. I might just take a walk until I see something interesting,” Yuan shrugged.
"Walk around until you see something interesting?" Min Li raised her neat and slender brows in confusion. Why did it sound like he was going to take a walk around a sect like him in the park? Does he have a lot of time on his hands? Even though he had just become a student? After all, most people would cultivate or do something more productive as new disciples.
“Do you have any suggestions? What do disciples usually do when they have just joined a sect?” Yuan suddenly asked him.
“Uhh They go to the Profound Pavilion to learn a new technique or they go to Education Peak for college. However, seeing that you are already at the seventh level Spirit Apprentice, you should go to the Profound Pavilion.” Min Li gave her advice.
"Deep Pavilion, huh?" Yuan immediately began to ponder.
‘I already have three sword techniques, but I only have one dagger technique, and it's not even a dagger technique since it's meant for cooking. Perhaps I should see if the Profound Pavilion will have a good dagger technique that will match the Starry Abyss’
After pondering for a minute, Yuan had decided to go to the Profound Pavilion to look for a new dagger technique.
"Thank you, Disciple Min, for your guidance," Yuan said to him with a bright smile, and he continued, "And you don't have to worry about what happened before because I know you're not the bad guy."
“”
Min Li looked at her handsome smile with a slightly bewildered expression on her beautiful face, and when she realized that Yuan was walking away, she subconsciously shouted, “Wait! I'll come with you too!”
