After taking a moment to admire the outside view of the Mission Hall, Yuan entered the building through a wide entrance that could even fit 10 adults if they stood side by side.
"Wow"
Yuan was immediately bewildered by the atmosphere in the Mission Hall, as it looked like some sort of disorganized office with papers embedded all over the walls. In fact, one would not be able to avoid looking at these papers no matter which way they looked.
Upon entering the building, Yuan approached the papers embedded on the wall and began to read some of them.
“The Chun family is looking for someone to escort their car from Huang City to Jin City. 100 gold as a gift. Spirit Apprentice level four and above was preferred. 5 Contribution Points.”
“The Ming family is looking for Cultivators to clean up magical beasts that have been roaming dangerously near their city. 1 gold coin for every magical beast killed. A third level Spirit Apprentice and above was preferred. 1 Contribution Points for every 30 magical beasts killed.”
“Secte Elder Bai from Golden Spear Palace is looking for ‘The Poison’ Bag that was perfectly extracted from the Devil Spider. 1,000,000 gold coins each. No cultivation requirements. 5 Contribution Points for each exchange.”
“The Jie family is looking for someone to organize their household as they go on a business trip for 7 days. 15 gold coins. No cultivation requirements. No Contribution Points.”
“Lord of Sparrow City is looking for someone to kill the rampant ‘Setan Merah’ around their region. 10,000,000 gold coins. Spirit Warrior level five or more preferred. 50 Contribution Points.”
After spending a few minutes browsing through some missions on the wall, Yuan noticed one thing. Most of these requests were related to killing monsters or acting as guards for some families with some missions requiring only materials, and very few of them were unrelated to Cultivators. As for those missions that did not require any cultivation, most of them did not provide any Contribution Points, either, so one can assume that it was meant for disciples who just wanted to fulfill their duties as disciples and nothing else.
"Oh? The papers are different colors. ” Yuan saw the yellow paper gathered not too far away from him and approached them.
“Murid Court In Huang is looking for sparring partners. 1 Contribution point for each hour of sparring. First level to second level Spirit Warrior. Meet at Lonely Peak in three days at 3pm after post date.”
“Murid Court Outside Gong is looking for someone to clean her clothes. 1 Contribution Points for every 50 batches of clothing. No cultivation required. Meet at building #2.910 in Outer Plateau.”
“Core Disciple Xing looking for someone to massage her once a week. 5 Contribution Points per session. There is no level of cultivation. Girls students only. Meet at building #55 in the inner court. An interview is required before being hired. ”
Yuan read this yellow-colored mission with a piqued interest, ‘So even the disciples were allowed to make their own requests to be placed in the Mission Hall, huh? However, couldn't the disciples abuse this by coordinating with each other so that they could complete missions with each other and avoid doing real missions to fulfill their disciple's duties?’
However, after taking another look, Yuan saw a large paper that said, "The requests made by fellow disciples will not count towards your student's duties!"
“Oh I think this will solve it” Yuan muttered to himself.
Yuan then looked at the Contribution Points he had left behind.
With that in mind, Yuan began to inspect most of the missions requested by the disciples in the Dragon Essence Temple.
After searching for a few minutes, Yuan's gaze suddenly stopped on a certain mission, especially from mentioning a word that instantly caught his attention.
“Murid Core Fei is looking for an Outer Court disciple surnamed ‘Yuan’ who is experienced with zither. 50 Contribution Points to anyone who can provide accurate information directing it to him.”
’50 Contribution Points just to find me?! It was the same reward rate as other missions that required one to fight ‘Setan Merah’! Fairy Fei? Wasn't this the disciple who played the zither in the Dragon Pavilion? Why is he looking for me?’ Yuan muttered to himself.
After pondering again, Yuan turned to look at the disciple standing beside him and gently patted the disciple on the shoulder.
“Excuse me, this is my first time being in Mission Hall. How do I receive missions?” Yuan asked the disciple in a friendly voice.
“Oh You can tear that request off the wall and bring it to the counter there”” The disciple pointed to the table near the entrance.
"Thank you very much" Yuan said to his disciple before taking Fairy Fei's request from the wall and walking towards the table.
"I want to receive this mission from Core Disciple Fei." Yuan showed the request to the sect elder behind the table.
"Murid Core Fei?" The sect elder looked at the request with wide eyes.
“50 Contribution Points for this level request?” The sect elder was speechless, as this was probably the most expensive request he had ever seen before.
However, since this was Core Disciple Fei who was known to be rich with Contribution Points due to his contribution in the Dragon Pavilion, it was not too surprising that he spent so lavishly on something so simple.
"What's your name?" The sect elder asked.
"Murid Yuan" replied Yuan.
“Eh?” The sect elder looked at Yuan's face with a gawking expression. What the hell is going on here? Was he the same person that Disciple Fei was looking for? Why did he turn himself in?
‘Ah, whatever. It is not my job to care about such things.’ The sect elders thought inwardly and decided to ignore their situation.
