Chapter 14 The Medina Play

Kai flinched when he heard a voice from inside the bathroom, he looked beside him and it turned out that Medina was not there. Kai immediately approached Medina who was vomiting in the bathroom.

"Jeez, why are you, baby?" ask Kai in panic.

"Don't know, my stomach feels nauseous."

"Are we going to the hospital now? I'm afraid you're all right" exclaimed Kai worried.

"No, it's midnight, maybe I'll catch a cold."

Kai asked Medina to return to bed.

"So soon, I'll make you some sweet tea."

Medina nodded with a face made as weak as possible. Upon seeing Kai leave the room, Medina seemed to be smiling.

"Mark's idea is just that, I have to wake up in the middle of the night like this and pretend to throw up, it's crazy Mark's idea, '" Medina murmured.

Mark did tell Medina to pretend to be pregnant, in order to make Kai more love to Medina and Kai would also immediately give up some of his property for the child he had been waiting for.

Kai looked confused in the kitchen, he had no idea how to make sweet tea. The thing for some people is very easy but for Kai it is something new and he has never made sweet tea at all.

"Sir Kai, what are you doing in the kitchen at midnight like this?" ask Luna who surprised Kai.

"I want to make sweet tea, but I don't know how" said Kai coldly.

"Oh, let me make you some sweet tea."

Luna immediately took the glasses and teabags that were available there, while Kai sat at the dining table in the kitchen while watching Luna who was making sweet tea.

Kai notices Luna's increasingly bulging stomach but not the slightest feeling of guilt in Kai, instead Kai imagines that Medina can get pregnant like Luna.

"This is Mr. sweet tea, please try to fear it is less sweet," exclaimed Luna.

"It's not for me but for Medina, my wife," said Kai coldly.

Kai immediately left Luna, while Luna could only fall silent. It turns out that Luna made sweet tea for Medina instead of for herself.

"It's so happy Madame Medina, to be noticed like that by Mr. Kai," Luna's inner self.

Kai goes into her room, and Medina pretends to be weak so that her acting is not suspected by Kai.

"Darling, this is sweet tea."

"Thank you, Mum."

Medina began to sip on the sweet tea made by Kai.

"My stomach is so nauseous, Mom."

"Yes, tomorrow we go to my family's doctor."

"No-no, I already have a personal doctor" Medina refused.

Medina and Mark had planned all this, and even Mark had paid a doctor to carry out his plan.

Mark does love Medina, but he also doesn't want to until Medina divorced from Kai without bringing anything.

The next day....

As usual Medina started her charade by vomiting in the bathroom of course it made Kai panic even more.

"What the hell are you, honey? yeah, now we've had breakfast before we go to the doctor."

Medina nodded her head and went down the stairs in a cradle by Kai, making Luna feel shocked.

"What do you want to have breakfast with?" ask Kai.

"I want chicken porridge, Mas."

"Yes, Sir."

"Please buy chicken porridge for my wife."

"Good, Sir."

Kai handed over a hundred thousand bills and gave them to Bi Surti. Luna said nothing, nor did Luna dare to. Luna took the fried rice for Kai, then handed it to Kai.

"Please Mr."

Kai did not care about Luna, even now Kai only focused on Medina and continued to ask about Medina's condition.

Luna again had to endure the pain in her heart, indeed Kai really loved Medina and Luna could not possibly melt Kai like Mama Arini and Papa Mahaprana said.

After breakfast, Kai and Medina leave for a hospital. Medina had sent a message to the doctor to get ready because Medina and her husband were coming.

Arriving at the hospital, Medina immediately entered the doctor's room.

"Good morning Dr.Jeez."

"Morning, Madame Medina. Please come in and sit down."

"Thank you."

"Did you call me in the morning?" ask Dr.Ayu.

"Look doctor, last night and this morning I suddenly vomited and my stomach felt very nauseous" Medina said.

"Alright, let Madam lie on the bed let me check first."

Medina lay her body on the patient's bed, then Dr. Ayu began to examine the state of Medina. Medina seemed to blink one eye to Dr.Ayu and Dr.Ayu smiled her smile and understood the code given by Medina.

Kai just sat on the chair while watching Medina being examined.

"It's over, Madam."

Dr. Ayu sat down again and Medina followed.

"What about my wife, doc?" ask Kai.

"Congratulations Master, soon you will become a Father" exclaimed Dr. Ayu.

Kai and Medina looked at each other, let alone Kai who was still unable to digest the words spoken by Dr. Ayu.

"Seriously doc, am I pregnant?" exclaimed Medina with a pretence of surprise.

"Yes Madam, the current age of the Mistress is only 3 weeks old and is vulnerable."

"Mas, you heard me, I'm pregnant, Mas" cried Medina.

Kai realized, even now Kai's eyes were already glazed over.

"Are you pregnant, baby?"

"Yes, I'm pregnant."

Medina kept Kai's hand on her stomach. "In here, there's our son Mas."

Kai immediately hugged Medina, and shed his tears.

"Finally I'm gonna be a Papa, baby."

"Yes, Mum."

Medina smiled triumphantly, it turned out that her skit went smoothly. Medina never thought ahead of her, what consequences if the skit was caught by Kai.
