Our Action Brothers

Our Action Brothers
Ancestors

"Hey you guys forgot about me."

Eiji who followed them into the water gate seemed a little upset, because the younger brother did not care about it at all.

"Aren't you able to get through that long hallway?"

"You think I can't stay in the water for long, and you don't see the angry face of Arnius, who you just left behind."

Eiji said softly while drying his body using the energy in his body.

"He's so worried about you, that you'd rather act as you please."

Eiji was back nagging.

"Yes, sorry brother."

"Let's start our tour this time."

Minori mediates their quarrel.

"Stay alert."

Eiji reminded me again.

They began to run slowly following the existing path, sometimes they stopped just to see something closer and clearer.

Minori continued to tell stories throughout their journey, showing the place where she slept, practiced and also looked for food. Until they arrived in front of a large cave mouth, and Minori stopped her steps.

"Why stop? what's in there?"

Keiko asked as she continued to move her legs closer to the mouth of the cave.

"We were forbidden to enter the place, we called it a forbidden cave. Only an elder could enter it even if the situation was extremely precarious and urgent."

Minori gave a brief explanation.

"It's not for you and not for me, so I can come in. You wait here don't go anywhere until I get out, Sayuri you want to come in too?"

"No, miss, I'll rest here."

Keiko nodded in understanding and again stepped into the cave with Eiji. The hallway they entered was not so long, there were many pictures on the walls of the cave. Keiko checked every image from the beginning of entering the cave to the end.

"This picture is about their life story, they're not the same as Minori."

Keiko continued to observe each image while continuing to mutter to herself. While Eiji was always on the lookout for all possibilities, he also occasionally saw pictures pointed at by Keiko.

"Their body shape is just like a horse in general, but they have a pair of wings and are able to fly. Their skin color is not the same either, as is the case with ordinary horses."

"Surprisingly, they don't have horns like Minori."

"Look here Kei, here is a picture of the birth of a horned horse and is given a white color. Just like Minori."

Eiji pointed at one of the pictures.

"They're like performing a ritual after the birth of this horned horse."

Keiko went back to muttering.

"Mount erupts, floods, famine and death. They believe that the birth of a horned horse is a curse that will cause all this."

"Key, there's a room here."

Eiji pointed at a room that was quite spacious.

"Why are so many pictures full of graffiti? the strokes are not the same."

"The cave walls here are a little cracked."

Eiji found a cave wall filled with cracks.

"They were talking about something in this place, there was a difference of opinion between them. Look at this picture, this horse is burned on a pile of wood, washed away, and many more pictures are full of crosses. The point is they want to eliminate this horned horse, but there are also some of them who do not agree to it."

Keiko's face was filled with questions.

"And it's possible that they fought to the point of causing a crack in this wall."

Eiji concluded.

"There's another room there Kei."

"This picture shows that they decided to leave this horned horse outside their territory. So it's true my estimation, the missing stones are only eight. While Minori said they were nine. So it was Minori, the horse they wanted to get rid of. They didn't want to kill him, so they decided to make Minori stay outside of this place."

"Where are they now?"

"We're looking for them brother."

"Wait, Minori said this place is off limits. What's here besides those pictures?"

Eiji again checked the cave walls.

"This wall is a little hollow."

Eiji found a small crack in the wall.

"Sized by one fist."

Eiji put his fist in.

Keiko gives aba-aba. Eiji started pushing his fist. And sure enough, one room opened up again. A cave wall shifted slowly, but before the wall was perfectly open, the cave wall stopped opening and only partially opened.

"Why don't you want to open it again, it's still narrow, it doesn't fit."

Eiji tried to shift the stone wall.

"But it fits me, brother."

The petite Keiko can pass through the door of the cave that has not been fully opened.

"Be careful Kei."

Eiji again tried to shift the stone wall with all his might.

"Silver stop shifting, there's something blocking that wall."

Keiko said softly from behind the cave wall.

Keiko took off her gold belt, then changed its shape into a glowing stick to illuminate the dark cave room.

"The horse's skull."

Keiko shifted some bones as well as a horse skull that blocked the cave wall, so that the cave wall opened completely.

"This place is an old cemetery."

Eiji checked the room again.

"This is the tomb of the horned horses like Minori."

Keiko looked at some of the images on the wall.

"And this horse bone?"

"From the picture here, he cut off his own horn. I think he's one of the elders here, but because he didn't want to be killed, so he covered it by cutting off his horn. And it looks like he can't hold on."

Keiko made a decision from some of the pictures she saw.

"See this the horn is half left."

Eiji found a horn that was still attached to the skull head that was in front of him.

"There's nothing else here, let's get out."

Eiji and Keiko walked out from inside the cave.

Arriving outside the cave, they did not see the existence of Minori or Sayuri.

"Where are the two of them?"

Keiko looked around.

"We're here, miss."

There was a cry from Sayuri's voice from a distance.

"Those flocks, they're in danger."

Eiji and Keiko rushed over to Sayuri who was on Minori's back and surrounded by dozens of horses.

"What happened Minori? what do they want?"

Keiko and Eiji had now set foot near Minori surrounded by dozens of horses.

"Who are y'all? you must leave this place or die here."

One of the biggest horses spoke in a furious tone.

"Relax your horse masters, we just stopped by this place and had no intention of hurting you all. Introduce my name Eiji, he's my sister, Princess Ochi, and your ancestor Minori. We can talk good, right?"

Eiji tried to avoid a fight between them.

"The water gate has been closed for a long time, how did you get into this place?"

"We're with your ancestors, and he's the one who showed us the way to this place."

"Who are you? how dare we claim to be our ancestors?"

"That rock sculpture you made is my first brother, Ichiro. The mighty black horse."

Minori pointed to a stone statue located not so far from their place.

"We picked each other up, brother, I'm fifth. And maybe the ninth brother made the stone statue, because he so admired the first brother. Kenken, is he still alive?"

"Our respect to the ancestors."

All the horses that had been violent were now bowing respectfully before them.

"Elder Kenken is still alive, yet he is very old and weak. Right now the elder wanted to spend his life by the green lake."

Say one of the big horses.

"I'll see him."

Minori rushed to the place she used to love the most.
