Our Action Brothers

Our Action Brothers
White fire

"With two suns, the roof of the house should not be flammable because it is only made of dry grass."

Kin Raiden muttered softly.

"Beautiful park, but how is it possible. Isn't this land pretty barren? hey where did that hot sea of sand go?"

Keiko's words awakened all of her colleagues.

"That rock separates this sand and this dry land."

Genta stomped his feet repeatedly on the ground he was treading on.

A large red-leaved tree greeted them as they began to enter the grounds of the house, a flower garden filled with butterflies spread beautifully before them. Red grass neatly arranged along the path in the middle of the park, there are several stone chairs and tables on the edge of the park.

"Excuse me."

Arnius said slowly.

"What do you want, get out of this place right now."

The soft voice of a woman echoed from inside the house.

"Yin yin what are you saying, we should welcome the guest well. Forgive my granddaughter who doesn't know manners. What will it take for you and the lady to come to our place?"

An old man walked over from the side of the house and approached them.

"Sorry senior, I'm Arnius. We just happened to pass by this place and wanted to make sure there was really someone living in this place."

Arnius said politely after bowing respectfully for a moment.

"I'm staying here with my granddaughter, let's sit down. Just call me Yao's grandfather."

"Thank you grandfather Yao, if you're allowed I want to ask you something."

"Of course, I will answer if indeed this old man knows."

"How can we get out of this place?"

"Possibly, you should be able to continue your journey until the last gate. From there you will get out of this place by yourself. That's what I think."

Arnius and the others only looked at each other after hearing Yao's grandfather's explanation.

"Can grandfather show you where the next gate is?"

Keiko lowered her head in respect for a moment after asking a question.

"Sorry lady but I don't know where the next gate is."

Grandpa Yao shook his head slowly.

"Yin yin why haven't you served water to our guests yet."

Grandpa Yao slightly raised her voice.

"They must know that a drop of water in this place means so much, so just have them go grandfather."

The soft voice of a woman came back from inside the house.

"No need to bother grandfather, we thank you for being allowed to take shelter from the heat of the sun. If I may ask if grandfather is just a traveler like us or indeed a resident of this place?"

Keiko asked back.

"I'm a traveler like you, but for some reason I have to stay in this place with my granddaughter."

"Aren't you trying to find the next gate?"

Arnius scrunched his forehead.

"This place is full of demons and beasts, we can no longer afford to pass them."

Grandpa Yao bowed sadly.

Keiko dared to ask.

Grandpa Yao nodded and began to tell him about the beginning of their journey. Yao Lian was from a far-flung southern continent with a different empire, Yao Lian had a son who was married and blessed with a daughter, Yao Yin. At the time of Yao Yin's birth the state officials and even the emperor came to see and give a prayer of salvation because Yao Yin's mother was the daughter of one of the emperor's concubines.

Various gifts and sayings Yao Yin received from various parties, until finally Yao Lian realized there was one gift that he thought was strange. There was a pearl stone that was deliberately placed near the bed of his beloved grandson. The stone, which was originally the size of a fist, eventually shrank to the size of a single finger.

Just as Yao Lian was intending to pick up and get rid of the stone, he was shocked that the pearl stone suddenly vanished into a puff of smoke and entered Yao Yin's body. It made him realize that during this time the pearl stone slowly entered into the body of his grandson.

After Yao Yin was a year old the strangeness on her body started to show. Every time Yao Yin angrily saw a flash of fire in both eyes and not infrequently fire came out from every part of his body that he shook. However, if Yao Yin was sad, anything she touched would be covered in thick ice and frozen.

Yao Yin's mother burned and died while trying to calm her little daughter who still could not control her emotions. Yao Yin's terrifying state of body went on until she grew into a girl, not a single young man was willing to marry her. It made my father miserable.

Finally Yao Lian and his son took Yao Yin on a journey to find a hermit who was able to heal Yao Yin's body. But no one has been able to cure it. Until Yao Lian heard there were various spirit pearl stones that could cure various diseases located on Bunin island, and arrived at this terrible island.

Yao Yin's father was killed when they arrived at the second gate, because his desire to find precious pearls for the princess' healing caused greed and ended horribly.

Yao Lian managed to bring Yao Yin into the third gate, they tried to survive the attacks of the beasts that were in this place. But Yao Lian's old body, causing injuries all over his body was very difficult to heal and took a long time to recover as before. He could no longer afford to go back to fighting with demons or beasts, so they decided to hide from the pursuit of these beasts.

"The red-leafed tree is able to cover our existence from demons and beasts, only humans who have no grudges and wrathful space are able to see the existence of our house."

Yao Lian ended the story.

"How long have you been in this place?"

Genta who had just listened was now trying to ask.

"I myself do not know for sure, because day and night are difficult to guess in this place. Sometimes we find day and night changing naturally as usual, but as you can see now. There is no night though and even two suns appear."

"You've heard everything so please go and leave this place."

Yao Yin's voice came back from inside the house.

"Miss what if I bring you guys along from this place, are you still being cold towards me?"

Arnius said slowly.

"Don't be so strong in front of me."

Yao Yin's voice sounded a little loud accompanied by bursts of fire coming out from inside the house. A precise flash of fire struck Arnius' body, which he did not avoid at all.

"White fire.... You have a fire that is unique, miss, but it takes a bigger fire to hurt or burn my body."

Arnius smiled slightly.

"I'm sorry for my young master's grandson, he always behaves like that when he meets a young man of his age. Haaa... That's why he's not married yet. Ladies and gentlemen can rest on the terrace, there are some chairs and cots that can be used for the fall. I'm going to advise that bad boy."

Yao Lian sighed softly and walked inside the house.

Yao Lian was seen coming out with a girl carrying a water urn. The girl was slender in stature and had a suitable height so that it could be called perfect. But Yao Yin's face was filled with black color that resembled burns to far from beautiful words.

"Include sir, this is my grandson Yin Yin. Sorry for the behavior."

Yao Lian lowered his head for a moment.

"It's okay grandfather, big brother Yin is happy to meet you. Sorry if our arrival troubles you."

Keiko lowered her head for a moment then grabbed Yao Yin's hand to shake hands.

"Sister Yin come sit down, I know that big brother is very smart and surely big brother has observed all the things around this place. So may we know about all that, which we might be able to use to get out of this place. Or at least to find the next gate."

Keiko grabbed Yao Yin's hand and took her to sit down with him.

"If I say everything I know. Are you able to guarantee my grandfather's safety, as we try to get out of this place?"

Yao Yin started to open the conversation.

"Of course, miss, we will do everything we can to protect Grandpa Yao."

Arnius answered without any hesitation.
