Chapter 6 - The Legend

Rakryan took out one of his swords which he hung on his back. Soon he was in a standby position. He felt a sense of presence other than the four of them.

Penta and Coral appear to be sleeping leaning against the same tree.

Dyah is still doing meditation, although time has passed probably more than an hour since he started doing it.

If you look at it, there seems to be no one but the four of them. But Rakryan who was an experienced adventurer felt that there was something other than the four of them, immediately stood by without needing to think about it first.

Rakryan continued to look around but saw nothing.

It's strange, I clearly feel there's another existence, and it's very close. But I didn't see anything. Rakryan murmured in his heart.

Rakryan quickly turned his head towards Dyah meditating. But again he saw nothing. He quickly flipped over and slashed at something he felt was behind him. But again there was nothing but the air that he slashed.

“Who are you? I clearly feel your presence. No doubt, I can't be wrong. Show yourself and tell me what you want?” Rakryan who like to speak for himself, was quite confident in his intuition ability.

But there was still no sign of any other creatures other than the four of them there.

The irritated Rakryan clenched his teeth and threw his sword at Dyah who was sitting cross-legged. His sword stuck in the trunk of the tree behind Dyah, just above his head. But Dyah still did not budge.

Does Rakryan have a problem with Dyah? It seemed that no, Rakryan had clearly sensed that there was something above Dyah's head. Suddenly a winged creature appeared behind Rakryan who was facing towards Dyah.

The creature was pulling its radiant-looking bow, towards Rakryan.

Dye opened his eyes and said. As Dyah finished pronouncing the name of his mouth, the needles shot out at the same speed as the bullets from the firearms, aiming towards the creature that was targeting Rakryan.

The ice needle that Dyah shot right hit the creature. After the ice puff created from the ice hit disappeared. It seemed that the figure was not injured at all. But the creature was no longer in the archery position, and then it disappeared.

Rakryan whose eyes were wide open was very surprised, saying.”This is impossible. Didn't the creature go extinct millions of years ago?”

“That's what you see. I also could not believe. But you see his ability. What other creatures are human, bird-headed and have wings and are incapable of magic. What else if it wasn't that creature.” Answer me loudly.

“Sialll, how can we face the creature?” Rakryan felt his horse's fur standing up. It seemed like he was terrified of the creature he had seen just now.

“Friends. Penta, Coral buildingnnn.” Shouted loudly towards the two of them.

The coral that heard the call, immediately woke up by jumping towards the tree branch above it. Only then did he open his eyes when he was already on top of that branch.

While Penta, it still looks very slick.

“Wohh, sprightly as usual.” Dyah noticed the Coral which was already on top of a 6-meter-high tree branch. Then look at Penta. “Ahh, your Penta is troublesome too yes it turns out.”

Dyah still remained calm even though Rakryan looked very frightened, was this the effect of his meditation?

“Ketuaaaa, what should we do now?” Rakryan asked who had just picked up his sword that stuck into the tree trunk.

“Current, how is the situation?” Ask Dyah to Karang who monitors the surrounding environment from above.

“That creature. He moved very quickly, although my eyes could still keep up with his speed, but it was very difficult to ascertain the number. But for sure the number is more than one.” Reply Coral who is moving her pupils quickly.

“This is worse than I thought.” Dyah ran towards Penta asleep. “Penta wake up, Pentaaaa.” Shouted Dyah while shaking Penta's shoulder.

“Haaa, Dyah, what's up?” Ask Penta who just opened her eyes.

“We have to escape.” Answer me quickly.

“Haaaaa?” The Penta automatically fully realized hearing that speech.

The four of them continued to flee in which direction. What makes it difficult to run here are the roots of trees that come out of the ground, if not carefully they must stumble.

But that obstacle does not apply to the Coral, which jumps up and down on tree branches. He's like a ninja, kerennnn. Penta Gumam.

“Stop, stop.” Said Dyah who was gasping for breath, holding the tree trunk with her right hand, while her left hand carried the magic wand that she used to support her body at this moment.

“Apahh, ituhh creature, still, following kitah?” Dyah tried to ask even though breathing alone was already difficult for him at this moment.

Without Rani here, of course no one can give them strengthening magic, making them especially Dyah and Penta, difficult to run far.

The reef, which had stopped above one of the branches, was still breathing as usual. It did not affect the Coral at all which was a hunter. “Iya, still. We don't make the slightest distance from them.” Answer the calm reef.

Likewise with Rakryan, do not look breathless at all. But hearing the news delivered by Karang, Rakryan hit the tree trunk beside him and said a word. “Sial.”

While Penta is like Dyah, panting but not as bad as Dyah.

“I also want to ask that.” Murmured Coral, but because of his small voice and the distance the question could not be heard by his friends who were below.

When he muttered that Coral saw the creature flying towards Penta, he quickly warned Penta even though he knew it would not be possible. “Penta watch out.”

When the eyes of the reef get to where the Penta is. He saw Rakryan was holding back the creature's attack with both of his swords.

Penta who does not know if attacked, only realized if he was in a position of danger when Rakryan was in front of him suddenly.

“Penta stays behind me.” Said Rakryan who was holding the blow of a creature that looked like a bird on his head.

“What creature is it?” Ask Penta who was surprised.

“Garuda?” Penta still did not understand the creature in front of Rakryan. “Keep why did he attack me?”

“Now borrow a dagger.” Shouted Dyah, already not panting as before.

“Huhh.” Coral sighed but he still threw the two knives he held onto his head.

Dyah stuck out her right hand and pointed her palm towards the thrown knife. The blade that was pointing towards the sky suddenly turned around and quickly fell towards the creature that was in front of Rakryan, quickly the creature disappeared back.

“Hahaha, if magic can't, how about a physical attack.” Said Dyah while laughing wickedly.

“Wow, what is telekinesis?” Tanya Penta was amazed.

“At a time like this. Think of your safety, PENTA.” Rakryan, who had been visibly upset, shouted at Penta.

“Ma-sorry.” Penta was frightened by Rakryan's attitude.

“Do not quarrel now.” The coral tries to calm.

But both are silent.

“Huh.” Coral sighed again, because of the attitude of the two.

The rain of arrows came from Rakryan's front direction, the bright golden arrow, speeding rapidly towards Rakryan, probably numbering 100 or so arrows.

“Illusion Speed.” Time slows down because of the moves Rakryan uses, but who realizes it is only Rakryan.

All the arrows that came together headed towards the direction of Rakryan in his field at a speed that ordinary humans would not be able to replicate. Rakryan's hand movements were so rapid, it was as if he currently had no arms at all.

On the opposite side of the Coral faced with a creature that was exactly the same as the creature that shot an arrow at Raryan. What distinguishes this creature called Garuda holds a sword of light in his left hand by leaning the left side of his body forward.

Coral grinned, either out of fear or pleasure, then he threw a dagger at Garuda. But the creature simply ignored the dagger that passed through his left side.

“Exchange.” Instantly the body of the reef swapped with the dagger he threw and was now behind Garuda. Karang quickly took out a new dagger from the storage on his thigh and flipped over to slash at Garuda.

Realizing that Garuda quickly fended off the Coral attack, but Karang did not stop with one attack, he slashed again and again, whether he had slashed freely in less than 5 seconds. But everything was successfully repelled by a human-bodied bird.

Rakryan could not move from his position, he was currently busy fending off all the arrows that the data was pointing at him.

Dyah thrust out the dagger he had borrowed from the Coral with his telekinesis ability. With almost the same speed as the bullets, the two daggers headed towards the archery Garuda, the creature stopped archery and turned its bow into a sword.

“Ihh, really good.” Mumbled Dyah who had strengthened his eyes with magic so that he could see through the trees and a long distance even though his gaze was white-black.

Rakryan who realized the arrows stopped coming, jumping very quickly, a distance that was 20 meters more in his path within 1 second. Directly give a barrage of slashes to Garuda when it arrives in front of him. All of those attacks were successful in the field as well.

Dyah who knew Garuda was busy fighting Rakryan moving his dagger again, this time he precisely targeted the bird's head from his right side.

While fending off Dyah's attack, the creature took out a hand holding a sword of light from its head.

Slowly a body that was exactly the same as the creature came out of the body that was at Rakryan's opponent. Now the legendary creature becomes 2 in front of Rakryan, if in total there are now 3, because one is fighting with the Coral.

“Ahh, this is what I don't like about mythical creatures. Always split up.” Grumpy Dyah.

The newly created Garuda flew quickly towards Rakryan and passed by him. Rakryan realized who the creature was targeting quickly turned over and planned to jump.

Garuda who was facing Rakryan instantly appeared before him, it seemed like he wanted to block Rakryan from protecting Penta.

“Dyahhh.” Rakryan shouted very quickly.

“I know.” He answered loudly too.

“Ice Wall.” several layers of ice come out of the ground and form a wall to stop the pace of Garuda flying towards Penta. But everything was broken through without any problems by the Bird.

Corals who are fighting an attack with other Garuda, aware that Penta is in danger. He swiftly kicked Garuda's chest as a foothold to slide towards Penta. But the unconscious Coral he was doing actually brought him into trouble.

The foot of the coral that has not had time to make a blow, held by Garuda when the soles of his feet touch the chest of the Garuda. Without the slightest warning Garuda cut off both legs Coral. His legs were cut off at his knees like paper.

“AAAAAHHHHHH.” coral screaming in pain and falling down with face facing the ground.

Garuda who had broken through the last ice wall, pointed the tip of the sword towards Penta.

Penta who was not able to see the speed of Garuda was just feeling there was a creature coming towards him.

Now Garuda is already 3 meters in front of Penta. Prepare to put his sword.

A dagger slid down from the left side of Penta without her noticing.

“Exchange.” A body figure appeared instantly in front of Penta. The legless body floated up stopping the sword with Garuda sliding towards Penta with his body, and he said another word. “Exchange.”

Back the body was swapped with a dagger he had set on the ground as he fell.

Due to the speed momentum of the flying Garuda, making the legless and pierced body pushed back, the light sword that pierced his stomach pierced through and pierced the other Garuda that was behind him.

The two pierced bodies stopped after hitting a tree a few meters behind them.

I watched what happened screaming hysterically. “KARANGGGG.”
