Chris approached Anthony's door. His colleague Kimberly Potter followed him behind. George Floyd, Tim Gannon, are on standby not far from there.
Geck..Geck..Geck.. Geck..Geck..Geck..
Chris knocked on Anthony's door. But there was no sign the owner of the house would open the door.
"Police !!! Mr. Anthony. Are you inside?"
"Mr Anthony, can you listen to me ?"
Silent. There's no answer. Chris turned his face to 3 colleagues. They code with eye movements. George and Tim spin around to the back of the house while pulling a gun from a holster tucked away in their waist. Kimberly was ready with a revolver in her hand. Chris also prepared with his hand-held firearm.
"Mr Anthony, we're going in."
Chris counted in his heart. On the count of three, with his shoulder he broke down the door.

Brak!!!
Door opens. The atmosphere in the house looks lonely. They scanned the living room that looked dim. Chris pulls the curtains to give access to sunlight into the house. The living room looks nice. No sign of life. Still with the standby position Chris and Kimberly go deeper. Now they are in the family room. Sofas, TVs and children's toys appear normal in position. For a while the impression they got, it looked strange and suspicious. The house was too tidy for the size of the occupant who had three toddlers.
Chris and Kimberly went even further, and George managed to get inside the house from the back door. The four of them met in the kitchen as well as the place that served as the family's dining room. Everything looks neat too. The house seems to have been abandoned by the owner, where the occupants of the house had time to do some cleaning first.
Continuing the examination, they headed for the bedroom. The one-story house consists of three bedrooms. They opened the door to a room that allegedly belonged to Mrs Barbara. Inside the room is a photo of the old woman with her late husband. Everything looks neat too. The owner of the room was not found there. So does Anthony's children's room, look clean with two small beds and a row of neatly arranged toys on the shelf. They turned to a room located at the end. It was the last room they had not checked.
The sound of clattering steps came closer to the wood door carved in natural brown. As soon as he arrived at the door, Chris, who was at the front, reached out his right hand to reach for the round door handle. He then gripped and turned it slowly.
Kriee...
The door opened slowly. Instantly an unpleasant aroma burst out from inside the room once the door opened perfectly.
"Oh My.. !!!" Kimberly exclaims. Reflex he covered his nose with his upper right arm while still holding the revolver.
Other police officers did the same, as the thick aroma coming from the room pierced the nose. Four officers rushed in. The bedroom looks dark because the sunlight is blocked by the window curtains that have not been scattered. Chris quickly headed for the window with two large glass at the height of the adult's waist. He then pulled the cloth cover with a single blow.
The kreeek...
Once the curtains are perfectly open, a sad sight is seen before them. 5 bodies lying stiffly piled on the bed with the condition of bluish bruises.
"Oh my god. Who has done this !!" Chris Excited
As soon as they found out, they immediately acted quickly. Chris contacted police chief Derek Chauvin, asking for help from an ambulance and forensic investigators. Chris' other colleagues immediately secured the location and put up a police line.
It did not take long 5 ambulance cars came, followed by a sedan car behind him. Medics got down from the ambulance, pulled down the gurney and pushed it inside the house. Derek Chauvin, Colma's police chief, got out of his car shortly afterwards. He walked behind the medics, followed them into the crime scene.
An hour later, the body bags were brought out of the house. The body was taken in an ambulance gurney. Frank and his wife Helena who were waiting together with the crowd of citizens stared in disbelief. Hugging her husband's arm she stroked his chest.
"Oh God. Frank, what exactly happened to Anthony ?"
"I don't know, honey." Frank rubbed the back of Helena's hand which felt tighter in her arm.
As soon as the fifth bag went up to the ambulance, the question was again raised by Helena.
"Frank. There were 5 body bags, right?"
"Yes dear. If I don't count wrong."
"The Anthony family has 6 members. Is there a chance that one of them is still alive ?"
"It could be, baby. I hope it's true what you said."
"Is our city not safe anymore, Frank?"
"Honey. We should not speculate anything first. Let's wait for the official statement from the police."
"Yes you're right, baby."
The five bodies were immediately taken to hospital for forensic analysis.
Dr. Henry Lee led the autopsy on five bodies. He was assisted by two colleagues Drawi Peterson and Danny Casolaro. The bodies were identified as Barbara, Anthony Chavez, Dorothy, Ethan Chavez, and Fred Chavez
From the physical features to the five bodies having the same mark. It is a bluish-black bruise caused by poison. A bright red corpse, or cherry red, usually appears 2 hours after the victim dies, lasting at most 12 hours after death. But the 5 bodies no longer look bright red. Of these characteristics, the body may have died more than 12 hours.
To determine the type of poison that causes the death of the victims, then surgery is carried out. After the chest cavity is open, there is pulmonary edema (pulmonary swelling) and bleeding in the tool in the body. They then took samples of blood, internal organs and urine for laboratory tests.
The results of the toxicology laboratory that came out shortly thereafter, corroborate the assumptions of experts. This bruise color generally appears on the corpse with the cause of death of cyanide poison due to increased levels of oxygen in the veins.
For days police were doing crime scenes. The police combed every corner of the house carefully. Hoping to find a bit of evidence left by the perpetrators there.
The existence of Anthony's youngest daughter, Patricia Chavez, is also a homework assignment. The 8-month-old baby seemed to be swallowed by the earth along with the mystery of the murder of Anthony's family. Police also suspect Anthony's cousin Julian Chavez. Because the strands of his hair are found in the gap of the fur carpet in the family room. But the allegation is broken with an alibi owned by Julian. On that fateful day, Julian was in New York on a business trip.
