POISONED GIRL
CHAPTER 2. Skull Forest

A 17-year-old girl was lying on a bed holding her stomach. The girl's thin body trembled violently. Cold sweat splashed on his forehead. Her lips are pale. It was obvious that the girl was enduring the excruciating pain of her body.

The door opened loudly from outside and there were quick footsteps approaching the bed.

A maid dressed maid approached the girl lying on the bed.

"Miss Ruo Li! Chun Hua had already obtained the antidote. Come, eat!" said Chun Hua as she fed the antidote that was in her hands to her young miss who was lying weakly on the bed.

The girl chewed on the black-colored little pill that Chun Hua gave her. Ten minutes later the girl's body stopped shaking. The pain in his body was reduced slightly, proving the antidote given by Chun Hua reacted well even though it only reduced the pain in his body a little.

The girl had gotten used to this and was very sure this time that the remaining poison was piling up inside her body again.

"Thank you Chun Hua!" said the girl while staring into Chun Hua's face.

The girl's eyes were round big looking at the fresh blood that was still flowing on Chun Hua's forehead. 

"Which Rong Xian hit you again?" ask the girl with a trembling voice and eyes that are flushed in seconds.

The girl tried to hold back her anger and crying. His heart ached and felt helpless when he saw the wound on Chun Hua's forehead.

"It's okay, Miss Ruo Li.  It's just a small wound" Chun Hua said as she covered the wound on her forehead with her right palm.

"Take care of your wounds!" said the girl.

"Okay, Miss Ruo Li! " answer Chun Hua.

The girl's body was still weak so she could only lie on the bed while watching Chun Hua treat the wound on her forehead.

"Chun Hua's! Forgive me for making you suffer because of your bad luck as my personal servant," said the girl in a soft voice while holding back her tears that began to pool in the eyes.

That girl was Yang Ruo Li, the first lady of the Yang Family. Yang Ruo Li had been used as a human pill for sixteen years. Inside Yang Ruo Li's body accumulated a lot of poison and miraculously Yang Ruo Li could survive until now with a body filled with remnants of poison that Huo Rong had once given him.

Yang Ruo Li was able to survive until now as well because of the hand of Chun Hua. It was Chun Hua who had always guarded and protected Yang Ruo Li. 

When Yang Ruo Li's body encountered danger of being unable to resist the poison given to him, Chun Hua would look for Huo Rong to beg for the antidote. Huo Rong would provide antidote for poison, which of course could only cure a little poison in Yang Ruo Li's body so that the remaining poison in Yang Ruo Li's body was increasing every day.

Not only that, the poisons that Yang Ruo Li had eaten during these sixteen years caused his left face to become damaged and filled with black patches.

Everyone in Shang Ri La City gave Yang Ruo Li the nickname trashy miss and the ugly one because Yang Ruo Li could not practice cultivation as well as his broken left face.

As he grew older, his half-brother Yang Rong Xian also went to torture and oppress Yang Ruo Li. Yang Rong Xian was the third miss of the Yang Residence. Yang Rong Xian's twin Yang Rong Le since the age of fifteen, had already followed some of the Elders of the Huo Family venturing to improve his cultivation practice. 

Yang Rong Le had good cultivation talent compared to Yang Rong Xian so the Huo Family Elder wanted to train him to become a great cultivator. Of course Huo Rong, her birth mother was very supportive of Yang Rong Le becoming a great cultivator later on.

Yang Rong Xian often gave poison to Yang Ruo Li. That was because Yang Rong Xian was jealous of Yang Ruo Li still being Fu Jiu Yun's fiancee even though Yang Ruo Li had gotten the nickname trash lady and the ugly one since childhood.

The engagement between Fu Jiu Yun and Yang Ruo Li was not canceled at all by the Noble Fu Chen and his wife, Wen Hui Min. This was because Nobility Fu Chen wanted to maintain his dignity in front of the people of Shang Ri La City. As the ruler of Shang Ri La, the conduct of Noble Fu Chen must have been noticed by his people.

Wen Hui Min secretly devised a plan to get rid of Yang Ruo Li so that Fu Jiu Yun would not have to marry the ugly trash girl. 

Wen Hui Min let all the ill-treatment from Huo Rong towards Yang Ruo Li and never helped Yang Ruo Li at all. Wen Hui Min desperately expected that Yang Ruo Li would die from the poison given by Huo Rong, but Yang Ruo Li could survive for sixteen years with the poison accumulated in his body.

Yang Rong Xian greatly admired Fu Jiu Yun and wanted to replace Yang Ruo Li as Fu Jiu Yun's fiancee so much that he was very excited about torturing Yang Ruo Li.

Today Yang Ruo Li was in pain and suffering from the poison given by Yang Rong Xian so Chun Hua went to look for Yang Rong Xian to ask for an antidote.

Chun Huan managed to obtain the antidote and was definitely only able to bid for a small amount of poison that was in Yang Ruo Li's body, with the reward of a bloody forehead. The wound on Chun Hua's forehead was due to the toss of the cup from Yang Rong Xian.

Yang Ruo Li wiped his tears quickly as Chun Hua walked towards him while carrying a cup of water, but Chun Hua had already seen him and felt sad to see the state of her young miss.

"Miss Ruo Li! Drink some water first!" said Chun Hua while supporting Yang Ruo Li's body with his body so that Yang Ruo Li sat leaning on Chun Hua's body.

"Thank you Chun Hua," Yang Ruo Li said as he handed the empty cup to Chun Hua.

"Miss Ruo Li. I heard some good news. The marriage between Miss Ruo Li and young master Fu Jiu Yun will be held in the near future because she is already seventeen years old" Chun Hua said.

"Wedding? Is it really going to happen?" yang Ruo Li asked in a tone of despair.

Yang Ruo Li had met Fu Jiu Yun a few times, but Fu Jiu Yun had always displayed such an indifferent and arrogant attitude towards her that Yang Ruo Li did not hold much hope of marrying Fu Jiu Yun at all.

"Until now, Royal Highness Fu Chen did not cancel Miss Ruo Li's engagement to young master Fu Jiu Yun. I'm sure Noble Fu Chen will keep his promise to the madam seventeen years ago," Chun Hua said.

The mistress that Chun Hua was referring to was Mu Dan, the biological mother of Yang Ruo Li.

"Hopefully," Yang Ruo Li replied.

"If Miss Ruo Li becomes the wife of young master Fu Jiu Yun, then Miss Ruo Li will not be made a human pill anymore by the Yang Family," Chun Hua said with teary eyes.

Chun Hua was very hopeful that Yang Ruo Li's marriage could happen so that Yang Ruo Li was in spite of the suffering he had been going through in the Yang Residence.

"Yes, Chun Hua," Yang Ruo Li said as he tightly hugged Chun Hua.

Yang Ruo Li and Chun Hua did not realize their conversation was heard clearly by Xi Xi, Yang Rong Xian's personal servant from outside the room. 

Xi Xi immediately left the Peony Residence towards the Edelweiss Residence, where Yang Rong Xian and Huo Rong lived to report on the talks between Yang Ruo Li and Chun Hua.

"Basic of ugly! Dare to dream of being Fu Jiu Yun's wife! I won't let it!" yang Rong Xian shouted as he threw the cup onto the floor.

"Calm down, Miss Rong Xian !" said Xi Xi Xi.

"Miss Rong Xian! As long as that ugly person lived, it was likely that she would become the wife of young master Fu Jiu Yun when she was seventeen and the time was this year," Luo Luo said.

Xi Xi and Luo Luo were Yang Rong Xian's personal servants. Luo Luo was smarter than Xi Xi so her every word contained meaning and was understood by Yang Rong Xian.

"That's right! Yang Ruo Li must die!" yang Rong Xian's heart.

"I'm going to see you now!" yang Rong Xian said.

"Well Miss Rong Xian!" xi Xi and Luo Luo replied simultaneously.

An hour later Yang Rong Xian returned to his bedroom with a big smile on his face. Huo Rong approved of Yang Rong Xian's plan to kill Yang Ruo Li.

Tomorrow afternoon Yang Ruo Li would be given many types of poison and be thrown into the Skeletal Forest that was filled with monsters.

One of them was a one-horned Ape monster that was extremely cruel to humans. They both wanted the one-horned Monkey monster to eat Yang Ruo Li's body without leaving any remains.

Yang Rong Xian took out a bottle of poison from the drawer and smiled sinisterly.

"This is the poison that Peng Xiao Ran gave you for the ugly one! Tomorrow is a good time to use it!" yang Rong Xian said.

Bending the day A Tu and A Niu, the two servants of the Yang Family Residence brought Yang Ruo Li to the Skull Forest. 

The two of them threw out Yang Ruo Li's body in the middle of the forest.

"A Tu! Let's go quickly! Tomorrow morning come here again to check if there are any remains of this ugly person according to the orders of the mistress," said A Niu.

"One-horned monkey monsters will definitely eat it. Tomorrow there will be no remains" said A Tu.

A Tu and A Niu hurriedly left the Skull Forest accompanied by a sharp gaze from Yang Ruo Li.

Yang Ruo Li heard clearly the words of the two maids and was confident that this time he would definitely die inside the Skull Forest.

Earlier Huo Rong and Yang Rong Xian gave various types of poison to him. Yang Ruo Li could feel the pain in his body dozens of times compared to before.

"What wrong! Why would they want to kill me!" said Yang Ruo Li's heart while tightly gripping both of his hands.

"I don't want to die! I don't want to die! What about my mom if I die!" said Yang Ruo Li's heart.

For these sixteen years Yang Ruo Li was not allowed to meet Mu Dan in the Lotus House, on the grounds that Mu Dan's madness was getting worse.

Yang Ruo Li could survive all this time because there was Chun Hua by his side as well as his hope of saving his biological mother from the Yang Family Residence.

Fresh blood spurted from Yang Ruo Li's mouth. He knew that the god of death would pick him up soon.

His eyes started to blur and when Yang Ruo Li wanted to close the meetings of his two eyes, a small light appeared before him. The light hypnotized him so much that Yang Ruo Li tried to touch that light.

It turned out that the light came from a lotus carved ring that was lying right beside Yang Ruo Li's body.

"Why is there a ring this good inside the Skull Forest? The two maids had not seen him at all," Yang Ruo Li's heart said.

Yang Ruo Li was sure that if the two maids saw this lotus ring, they would have already taken it.

There was a clear sound in Yang Ruo Li's ears.

"Wear it! You will be strong!"

"Wear it! You're gonna be great!"

"Wear it! You can take revenge!"

The voices hypnotized Yang Ruo Li so much that he put the lotus ring on his finger.

"AH!" Yang Ruo Li's shout echoed within the Skull Forest accompanied by a white light enveloping his entire body.
