CHAPTER 43

“That's not the case, when was the last time you satiated and spewed out everything you ate?” Brian again reminded, he did not mind accompanying and granting everything the baby wanted, but when everything came out and wasted, it would end in vain, because no nutrients entered.

Riana ignored, she turned around and left Brian still shocked.

Brian stepped quickly trying to align his steps, but for the size of a pregnant woman, Riana's footsteps were very fast.

Brian still faithfully followed Riana with his broad steps, whether where Riana would take him, because Brian did not memorize the ins and outs of Jakarta.

Suddenly drizzle down, even though the sky looks bright when dusk arrived a few hours ago, at first raindrops fell soft, gradually getting closer, Riana still did not pay attention to the cloudy weather, so did Brian's voice that had been calling him. 

“Riana ..” Excuse Brian.

But because of the sound of the rain getting closer, Riana did not hear Brian's voice, she continued to step, about to cross the road and wait for a taxi at the bus stop across the street.

After making sure the road was a bit quiet, Riana rushed across the road, but a car drove fast, even the sound of a horn shrill loudly, to Riana's surprise just silent in place, not hearing anymore the sound of Brian's screams trying to remind him, suddenly his body was held tight, then he felt his body toppled on the sidewalk. 

Riana closed for a moment, then felt her body still held tightly by someone under the rain.

Riana looked up, apparently Brian who was hugging her, the man was closed, in a dim light, Riana saw there was a light bruise on Brian's forehead, it seemed like he had hit the shoulder of the road when saving her.

“Brian ..” Riana patted Brian on the cheek, he began to regret that he had ignored Brian who continued to follow him.

Thankfully, Brian opened his eyes a moment later, his eyes could not lie, that just a moment ago, he was very worried about Riana who was almost hit by a car.

The flashback

Brian continued to move faster when he saw Riana cross the road, arrived a car drove at high speed, and if it was too late Riana would be a victim of a traffic accident, looking at Riana who was almost wretched, his dream arrived a few days ago flashed, the shadow of a pair of boys and girls who ran and laughed happily in the playground, the image of a pair of boys and girls who ran and laughed happily in the playground, for some reason Brian's heart suddenly emptied to feel something missing from his heart, he felt a strong impulse, even felt something that made him run faster in order to save his wife and child.

Moments before the car passed Brian clasped Riana's body, and took her rolling to the sidewalk, no matter what brow hit the shoulder of the road.

Brian closed his eyes, when he felt his head throb and spin for a moment, again the shadow of a pair of small children again flashed, this time the boy carrying the little girl, the boy smiled happily, although he was actually tired, but saw his little girl laughing while enjoying vanilla ice cream, making the boy forget his fatigue.  

Flashback end

Brian opened his eyes amidst the pain still whacking his head.

The first sight Brian saw when opening his eyes was Riana's face and hair wet from the rain, not to miss the two blue eyes that radiated worry.

“Sorry ..” said Rian lirih. 

Brian just nodded slowly.

“Sorry mbak, did the mas hurt?” asked a man who turned out to be a merchant who happened to run near the stop.

“Iya .. it looks like my husband's forehead is injured, can you ask for help mas, help me take my husband to shelter at the stop?”

“Oh yes mbak, let me help,” the man put his umbrella just like that, no matter the rain soaked his body and clothes, he helped to get Brian to the stop.

Riana thanked the merchant, then looked at Brian's increasingly pale face.

“I order a taxi first yah.”

Brian nodded, and went back to massaging his throbbing temple, though not as severe as a moment ago.

“Pusing?” riana asked when she saw Brian was still massaging his temple.

Brian nodded without a sound.

Riana stood in front of Brian, then revealed Brian's hair-covered forehead, she observed the bruise on Brian's forehead, rubbing it slowly, “It should be only a minor injury, which did not result in any side effects,” Murmured Riana. 

Arrived Brian hugged the body of Riana who was standing in front of him, “Cold .. please do not move from here first,” The whisper is soft.

Riana froze in place, indeed the air was quite cold, because her second body was still wet, but Riana did not expect, Brian would hug her in public, if this happened in Singapore, he said, of course Riana did not mind it, but they were in Indonesia, they could be the talk of the mothers +62 … 

#which obviously Brian will reap sympathy, a loving husband, who has managed to save his wife and child.

“Sorry, if my words offend you.” Brian continued.
