PRINCE OM-OM

PRINCE OM-OM
CHAPTER 21

In the afternoon, Luna arrived home. With heavy strides he parked his motorcycle in the garage and went inside the house.

“That Luna has arrived,” her mother-in-law's voice with a radiant face is welcoming.

Luna smiled at the welcome of the in-laws, but the smile slowly faded along with the looks of the lawyer who came to this house yesterday.

“Luna, tell Mr. Toni if you want to transfer all of Rendra's assets to Ryan.

Luna looked at the in-law and then turned to the lawyer.

“Lun, why are you silent? Let's say the same Mr. Toni,” urged his in-laws.

“Iya Mr. Toni, I still can not manage the company and assets of mas Rendra. So it's better for Ryan to run it,” said Luna with a slightly adorable face.

“Sorry mother Luna we can't do it. Mr. Rendra has made this will and the decision cannot be changed except by himself,” replied the lawyer.

“Mr Toni, did you not hear it. Luna herself will transfer her property to Ryan.”

“But Mom.., I can't guarantee if Luna's mom does this without coercion.

“What do you mean Sir? You think I threatened Luna?”

“Not so, but..”

“Mr Toni, I will transfer this power on behalf of brother Ryan. I do it consciously without coercion and intimidation from anyone,” cut Luna who does not want the two people in front of her to fight.

Mr. Toni took a deep breath before finally saying something, “please if it's Luna's mother's decision, but sorry we need time for this power transition.and before the transitional letter is valid, the letter said, bu Luna is entitled to all assets and is also obliged to run the business of Mr. Rendra.”

Hearing Mr. Toni's words, Luna nodded then glanced at the mother-in-law. There was dissatisfaction on his face. Disappointed at the decision given by Mr. Toni.

“Good, I'm sorry,” the lawyer concluded as he left home.

Luna's mother-in-law left the living room and went to her room, having previously given a sharp grin to her daughter-in-law.

Luna sat in the living room chair. It was completely inconceivable that he would face such a difficult thing after Rendra's death. Not yet lost the grief of the death of Rendra, new problems come.

“Non, there is a package for Non,” sound bi Inah disperse her reverie.

“Ah, yes bi thank you,” replied Luna while receiving the package. Luna turned the package back, there was no sender name on the medium-sized box. I don't buy anything, inwardly.

Luna grabbed the scissors and began to check what the box contained. A beautiful circular music box made of glass, with a statue of a prince and a princess inside. “Happy Birthday Luna”, a sentence written on the paper in the package had made him a little surprised.

His grief made him forget that tomorrow was his birthday. And this package, is the thing that first said that sentence to her.

“Mas Rendra,” said Luna suddenly. I don't know suddenly that name he mentioned. Luna's memory drifted while Rendra was still with her.

“You like that music box?” rendra asked as the man was stealing to see what Luna was doing with her phone.

“No,” replied Luna with a sharp grin. Because the girl does not like the attitude of Rendra who steals see what he is doing.

“Kayak your little boy, see there are 15 more music boxes on the table. What do you want to do?” it was Rendra's nagging that certainly made Luna pout and wrath back her fate that had married om-om.

The same music box, the music box that Luna saw on her phone at that time was exactly the same as the music box she was holding right now.

“Is this you who sent him Mas?” said Luna who began to think beyond reason. “This must be you Mas, you must still be alive. I'm sure you'll still be alive, you'll never leave me.”

Suddenly Luna's phone rang, a phone call from an unknown number.

“Halo”

“Our Mum Luna from Samudra store, would like to ask what package we sent has arrived? A glass music box with statues of princes and princesses.”

“What?”

“Ah sorry Mom, a month ago Mr. Rendra ordered the music box for Mother Luna's birthday. He asked us to send him today.  We wish you a happy birthday to Luna.”

“Thank you, the package has come,” replied Luna then closed her phone connection.

Luna's crying could not be contained anymore. A moment he still hoped that if Rendra was still alive, Rendra did not leave him. But in an instant, that hope was also lost. Is this how life plays us?

Every meeting has a farewell. And there is always sorrow in every farewell.

“Mas Rendra, I miss you so much,” said Luna softly then fell asleep.
