The battle that Han Ze Xin could initially easily win instead became his defeat. He knew that the man would definitely expel a large amount of poison to defeat the soldiers from the Sima family.
The red scorpion poison, which Han Ze Xin often used to cripple his enemies. Qin Yi Yi took out the sky lotus powder he had prepared before meeting Han Ze Xin. As soon as the red scorpion poison was spread into the air, Qin Yi Yi threw the sky lotus powder towards Han Ze Xin.
"Brukkk!"
The man's body fell down. He felt his entire body stiff and not powered up.
Han Ze Xin again lost at the hands of Qin Yi Yi who was also a poison master. Inside the tea he drank actually only contained ordinary tea that was brewed with sky lotus flowers.
The sky lotus flower only grows once a year and will die once the flowers bloom perfectly. However, this flower has its own uses. Sky lotus flower petals will be an anesthetic when met with red scorpion venom.
Han Ze Xin who had always held the red scorpion poison would naturally instantly collapse once it touched the rare sky lotus. The man did not even expect that Qin Yi Yi had such a rare flower.
Qin Yi Yi smirked in satisfaction when he saw Han Ze Xin fall unconscious before him. He was relieved that he had managed to defeat Han Ze Xin who had always underestimated him.
However, he suddenly felt short of breath and dizzy. Qin Yi Yi realized that he himself had been exposed to the effects of the poison he had used to subdue Han Ze Xin.
In an increasingly severe state, Qin Yi Yi attempted to take the antidote from his pocket. However, his hands were too weak to do so. He fell on the floor, feeling his body feel increasingly weak and helpless.
However, Qin Yi Yi suddenly sensed that someone was lifting his body and giving him a poison antidote. He knew the scent, and knew that the one who helped him was Sima Liu Zhi who was secretly in love with him.
At that very instant, Yu woke up because the sound of anesthetic effects on his body began to disappear. He drew his sword then dashed towards Han Ze Xin with irregular footsteps. His vision was still a little blurred due to the effects of the dope still affecting his body.
Yu stood in front of Han Ze Xin's body so that no one could touch his Young Master. With both hands, he held tightly to the long sword that was always by his side wherever he went. He pointed the tip of the sword forward then stared intently at the two people standing before him.
"Don't come any closer! I will kill anyone who dares to come closer!"
Liu Zhi and Qin Yi Yi stood still without moving a single bit.
"Zhu Bao, get the carriage out!" Yu yelled out to his colleague who served as the coachman of the carriage.
Zhu Bao ran to where he tied his horse, hurriedly the man carried the horse carriage towards the bottom of the window of the room where Han Ze Xin was. After hearing the sound of the footsteps of the horse, Yu lifted up Han Ze Xin's body then stepped into the room window.
"Zhu Bao!" yu shouted and threw his Young Master's body down.
Zhu Bao caught Han Ze Xin's body thrown by Yu. He brought Han Ze Xin into the horse carriage and waited for Yu to jump from the top. But unfortunately Yu had been ambushed by Liu Zhi when she threw Han Ze Xin's body through the window.
Liu Zhi's sword tip was currently pointed at Yu's neck, yet there was not the slightest trace of fear visible on the man's face.
Zhu Bao felt guilty and regretted having to leave Yu alone. But he had no other choice because their Young Master's life was the ultimate one.
"Ciaaa....!"
Zhu Bao was running the horse carriage at maximum speed, he broke through the soldiers guarding around the inn without the slightest hesitation. Sima Liu Zhi gave the order to release the arrows, she had to ensure Han Ze Xin's death so that no one would know of this incident.
The arrows were released by the Sima family warriors. Zhu Bao continued to advance his carriage without slowing down the speed of his horse even though in front of him were currently standing dozens of soldiers who were preparing to shoot arrows.
"Young Master, this may be the last day Zhu Bao can escort you. Please return to the residence safely!" zhu Bao said with sweat pouring out.
Zhu Bao pulled the sword from the scabbard, he wrapped a long cloth around the hand and the sword which was his only weapon to keep it from escaping while defending from the soldiers' attacks.
"Syutts! Syutts! Syut!"
Dozens of arrows shot rapidly towards the horse carriage, Zhu Bao could only hold on with all his might. He struck the dart that shot out coming from the front and fell down from above.
"Julbb!"
Zhu Bao's left shoulder was hit by an arrow, he endured the pain without the slightest groan. Zhu Bao continued on with his horse without any intention of giving up. Suddenly a burly hand pulled Zhu Bao into the horse carriage.
"Tu... Young Master!" he said when he saw Han Ze Xin the owner of the hand that pulled him inside.
"Stop! They'll kill us if you keep running away. I don't have the strength to fight now. We better give up and wait for the time to repay them!" han Ze Xin said in a weak voice.
Zhu Bao understood. He whistled three times, the horse pulling the horse carriage stopped stepping as soon as it heard the whistling sound from Zhu Bao.
The soldier chasing the horse carriage slowly approached, they brought the two men back to the inn.
Before that, Zhu Bao had already written a warning letter and for Dou Dou who had still not returned. He hoped that Dou Dou would bring in reinforcements from the residence to come save them.
When Dou Dou returned, he saw their horse carriage that had been stuck with dozens of arrows, he quietly entered the horse carriage to look for Zhu Bao's whereabouts. It was then that he found a warning letter from his partner.
Dou Dou ran towards the residence. On the way, Dou Dou fell several times to injure his knees and elbows. Yet Dou Dou did not succumb to those injuries. He stood up and continued his footsteps. He was running at a speed he could do with all his might.
Once he arrived at the residence, Dou Dou immediately headed to the main pavilion which was the gathering place of the Han family.
