Pura Pura Wife
Chapter.42

"Blog ... Have Dean meet me in the study!"

Miranda came out of the dining room and headed straight to the study while Debora and Sorra stared at each other with their two bulging eyes.

"Dean, what are you doing. Are you causing trouble again?"

"No Sorra!"

" Why does Grandma look so angry with you that she won't let your wife eat here with us

"I don't know the sound so stop asking me you're so noisy!"

Dean got up as Li approached him. "Mr Dean?"

"I know it's Li, I can even hear it clearly!"

"You're why. Not usually you get angry at Li, there's a grandmother you just keep quiet!" Sorra snorted looking at it.

"I don't care!" Dean got up from his seat and left Sorra and his mother who were curious because Miranda called him into the study.

"Do you know why Grandma called Dean?"

"You don't know, especially mom. You saw that your grandmother had not paid any attention to Mom. Mother like not considered in this house, just because your father no longer no Sorra!" lirih Debora with a sad face. "If there had been no will from your father telling me not to leave this house, it might have been that your grandmother had kicked me out a long time ago" he snorted this time.

"This mother ... Grandma can't be that bad to Mom, even if Grandma knows that you're a bad mother!" Sorra laughed while Debora gave a rude snort.

"You're Mom's son. Why keep defending your grandmother!" "Of course because Grandma is my source of money Mom! I have to keep defending grandma instead of defending mom who didn't give me a dime."

Deborah swelled, "You're the same as mom, we're a team, so we have to work with Sorra!"

"Yes yes. Well I understand, then we'll figure out what Grandma will say." said Sorra, "Let's go there, ma'am."

"You want us to eavesdrop on silent silence?"

Sorra who had already gotten up first and stepped towards the door turned his head back. "Of course, let's go, ma'am."

While in the workspace

Now Dean sits in front of his Grandmother, Miranda, who sits in her own seat of power.

"I should have given you the full power to manage all of our sources of income Dean! But you're disappointing!" miranda with a pushy look. "I'm too old and tired of all the responsibilities on my shoulders!" continued again.

"I stick to my decision, Grandma, I don't want to marry Selena."

"You know Dean how many total employees we have? How much are we spending each day?"

The two conversations were not in line and in the direction of Dean and Miranda both talked about things that are not related to each other, but they continued to talk about it even though their conversation seemed not connected.

"I beg you, Grandma. Just listen to me this once, I always obey what grandma wants, even my studies only Grandma chooses. I know Grandma worked so hard that it could be like this! But Grandma don't forget that I also have the right to choose what I want.

Miranda snorted, "With your attitude alone like this. What's going to happen to all the assets we have Dean? Are you gonna ruin everything? All your father's effort and hard work too? You're my only man of hope, I won't let that happen."

Dean shook his head, "I know it's Grandma, I wouldn't be able to do that either."

"Including lying about Arlene and her daughter?" miranda Sela. "And one more Dean, the party costs you spend enough to pay the salaries of all employees for the next 3 months. You know that? You're wasting money on useless things.

Dean flinched, again Miranda knew what was happening. He turned to the door where Li was standing, "This must be all because of you!" He chirped with a sharp look.

"Don't blame Li, he just worked and gave his loyalty to grandma. What you have to blame is your attitude that also does not dare to account for what you have done."

"I knew I was wrong, but I still wouldn't marry Selena no matter what, whatever the grandmother, now Grandma knows everything about me and Alexa and my pretend marriage to Arlene. I don't know how else to talk to Grandma. I wanted Grandma to understand but it wasn't, Grandma was the same, just for the reason that it was written Grandma sacrificed my feelings and one more thing, my contract with Arlene let me decide when to end it. I've spent too much money on this plan, Grandma and I know Arlene's a good girl, she's as simple and clumsy as Selena she's even better than Selena. If I had to choose, I'd choose her instead of Selena." Dean said, this time he told me everything, even how he felt for two months, Toh Miranda already knew everything and Dean was no longer able to dodge it but to be honest. "I feel guilty for dragging Arlene, she's been so tormented by everyone who hates her in this house including Grandma, just because of me. He's innocent in this, Grandma. I'm sorry because it's all my fault! I'm guilty of doing this to Grandma and everyone."

Miranda who kept looking at him with an unchanging gaze this time could see the sincerity in Dean's talking eyes.

"Do you look evil until you insist on all this, you can leave if you can no longer obey Grandma!" miranda.

"But Grandma?"

"What's? You don't feel capable! Though you said it earlier you will refuse to marry Selena no matter what! Before you speak, think with your head. Don't take it as if Grandma's the bad guy Dean!"

Dean did not understand what Miranda meant, Dean just shook his head.

"Grandmother really tested me!"

This time Miranda shook her head, "Your attitude is still too soft to be the leader of our company Dean, nor can you make a quick decision. You always hesitate after taking a step! Our company needs someone with a strong mentality. Have a definite desire and direction of purpose." he concluded again.

"So Grandma now also doubts me?"

"Now Grandma is asking you. Who would you choose if your choices were Selena and Arlene?"

"I told you earlier, Grandma,"

"Just answer Dean!"

"I'll pick Arlene!" answer Dean.

Miranda nodded her head with a more relaxed face.

"Then Arlene and Alexa. Who did you choose?"
