Seeking Protection

Catherine's family realizes that she has escaped and they begin to search across the country. However, Catherine manages to avoid their pursuit and settles in a hiding place with William.

Catherine sat in a small room inside a small house hidden in the middle of the forest. William sat down beside her and held her hand gently.

"Are you okay, Catherine?" ask William gently.

Catherine nodded slowly. "I'm fine, thank you. I'm just a little worried about my family. I don't know what they're doing right now."

William hugged Catherine tightly. "Don't worry, we'll solve this problem together. Your family will understand and accept us."

Catherine smiled gently. "I hope so. But I don't want to risk anything. I've been feeling pretty safe here, and I don't want to lose this shelter."

William nodded. "I understand. We'll stay here as long as we need to, until everything's resolved."

Catherine grabbed William's hand tightly. "Thank you, William. I don't know what I'd do without you."

William smiled gently. "We both need each other, Catherine. We'll always be together."

The two of them sat in silence for a while, enjoying the silence and comfort of each other. However, their calmness was interrupted by the sound of a door suddenly opening.

Catherine and William stood up quickly when they saw a person they did not know standing at the door. The man was large in stature and had a sharp gaze that made both of them feel uncomfortable.

"Who are you?" catherine asked in a trembling voice.

"Your uncle sent me to take you home," the man replied in a stern tone. "You must go with me immediately."

Catherine felt her breath get stuck in her throat. He was very scared and did not know what to do. William stood beside her and took Catherine's hand gently.

"No, we're not leaving" William said firmly. "You have no right to come here and force us to leave."

The man glanced at William with a sharp look. "You can't talk to me like that. You're just a follower who means nothing."

William was not affected. "I may not have any status or power, but I love Catherine and I will protect her from anyone who wants to take her away from me."

Catherine smiled gently at William. He knew that he could count on William always being by his side, even when the situation was difficult.

The man glanced at Catherine with a sharp look. "You know what will happen if you don't come back with me. Your family will be very angry and they won't stop looking for you."

Catherine felt a growing sense of worry, but she remained steadfast. "I'm not going with you. I've made my choice and I'll stay with William."

The man grabbed Catherine's arm violently, trying to pull her out of the house. William quickly held the man's arm and asked him to release Catherine.

However, the man got even more angry and tried to take the knife out of his pocket. William jumped straight ahead and managed to catch the man's hand before he could pull out a knife.

William and Catherine looked at each other, relieved that they had managed to defeat the man. However, they also realized that they had to remain vigilant as Catherine's family would probably send someone else to look for them.

"Let's move out of here now" William said quickly. "We can't stay here anymore."

Catherine nodded in agreement. They decided to go to a nearby town to hide for a while and plan their next move.

They came out of the small house and walked quickly towards the horse they had hidden in the forest. The two of them rode the horse quickly and left immediately before the people searching for them found them.

As they rode on the dark night, Catherine felt a little scared but also felt lucky that she had William by her side. He knows that they will go through many obstacles and challenges in their lives, but he is sure that they will always be together and face everything together.

"Let's promise to always protect and cherish each other" Catherine said gently to William.

William smiled gently at Catherine. "Of course, we will always support and protect each other, no matter what happens."

The two of them continue on their journey with confidence and courage, not knowing what will happen to them next, but they know that they will always be together and face it all together.

William and Catherine remained silent, contemplating what to do next. The man took a step forward, trying to scare them.

"There's no safe place for the two of you out there" he said in a stern voice. "You should come back with me and settle this matter with your family."

Catherine took a deep breath and stood up straight, William's hand still tightly held. "We won't go with you" he said in a firm voice. "We'll find a way out of this problem ourselves."

The man looked at Catherine with a sharp look. "Don't make careless decisions" he said. "Your family loves you and they want what's best for you."

William took a step forward, sticking his hand forward firmly. "It's enough, we won't talk about this anymore. You have to go now."

The man looked at William with a cold gaze. However, he eventually relented and left the small house with heavy steps.

Catherine and William both remained standing in silence after the man left. They reflect on their situation and what they should do next. Although they were relieved to have successfully rejected the man's offer, they were aware that Catherine's family was still looking for them and they had to prepare for the consequences.

"We have to move fast" William said firmly. "We must find another place to hide and secure ourselves."

Catherine nodded in agreement. "You're right, we can't stay here too long. My family will definitely look for us even harder after this failure."

The two of them immediately prepared themselves to leave, leaving their comfortable and safe hiding place. Although they feel uncomfortable and worried, they know that they must protect themselves and stay together in the face of the obstacles they face.

They left the small house quickly, walked towards the unknown and were ready to face whatever might happen next. They had no idea what would happen to them in the future, but they were confident that as long as they were together, they would be able to overcome any possible obstacles.
