10. Saving Chen from death

With that, a man wearing a golden-coloured robe embroidered with a majestic dragon walked in.

Emperor Han looked at Bai Xueyun and repeated his question, "Can you save prince Chen?"

Emperor Han waved and ordered everyone to leave the side room. Princess Li Hua wanted to stay, but the servants took her away.

Emperor Han was the last to leave, glancing at Bai Xueyun with a meaningful look as he closed the door.

The entire side room was instantly silent, while Bai Xueyun and the unconscious prince Chen were left alone.

Outside the room, prince Qiang Zhen was pushed away by his confusion and asked doubtfully, "Dad, Chen is dead. Why did you let empress Bai examine her body?"
