Chapter 4. Theodore remembered Selena

Theodore, surprised by the news of Selena, accidentally dropped a cup of hot tea on Ruby who was standing nearby. Even the cup broke onto the floor.

"Let's..." Ruby squealed in pain as her hand was hit by the hot tea.

"Geez, Your Majesty, is your king okay?" Duke Abraham and his wife immediately approached Theodore anxiously. Even Theodore's confidant Damian was worried about him. The one who was injured was Rubiana, not Theodore.

"Your Majesty, are you hurt?" ask Damian the Theodore.

"Hey you! Why don't you be so dopey, huh?" hardik Duke Abraham on Rubiana, with eyes glaring at the girl.

"Why aren't you careful, huh?" the Duke's mistress asked Rubiana with an angry look. Ruby was confused as to what to say.

"Oh, this is not his fault! I nudged the teacup and I wasn't hurt. Instead, it was this servant who was injured." Theodore saw Rubiana's palm flushed red because of the tea water she had spilled. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. Must hurt huh?" asked Theodore gently to Rubiana.

Theodore is devastated to learn that his best friend Arsen and Selena have died. He could not believe it, even the trash shed tears while being alone. Theodore was staying at Duke Abraham's residence that night, now he was contemplating in his room.

"Hyacinth you're really evil.Besides con man you're a murderer too! You killed Selena!" Theodore brushed his hand with anger and sadness. Selena is his best friend and the person he loves secretly all this time. Theodore once reminded him of Hyacinth, but the girl did not believe him.

"If you don't believe, then you'll die by your choice, or you'll live in Selena's hell!"

"Theo, Hyacinth will never hurt me. We love each other! What you said won't happen!" serka Selena's.
