Bitter Truth
“The fruit did indeed fall not far from the tree. I'm disappointed in you.” Anna said then got in the car.
“Anna! Anna!” Zack is about to approach but the driver gets in the way.
“Nona Gartner asked for her suitcase back.” said the driver.
“Anna! Ann—” Anna heard Zack screaming from outside calling her name. While Anna, in the car, broke down her grief by crying. Her tears were flowing until the driver got into the car.
“Should we return to Mr. Ed—”'s house
“No. Take me back to my home.” Anna cut the driver's sentence.
“Good.”
Flashback.
Dressed in a knee-length dress, makeup, and some jewelry to beautify her appearance, Anna is picked up by the driver and heads to a luxurious residence.
“Master, Miss Gartner has arrived.” the driver told a middle-aged man sitting on the sofa holding a glass of alcoholic beverages.
Upon Anna's arrival in the living room, Anna sat on the sofa with the man. The driver stood guard at the end.
“The money I gave you yesterday is still there?” ask the man.
“Still. But I want to go back to California.” Anna replied.
“Alright, later I will ask Novan to prepare everything.” reply the man.
“Novan!”
“Ya, Mr.” The driver standing guard at the end approached the voice calling out to him.
Off Flashback.
Novan takes Anna back to Anna's house. Once there, she helps to bring down the suitcase and brings it inside Anna's house.
“Thank you.” said Anna.
“Nona Gartner, here's what you need.” reply Novan by giving a passport book and a plane ticket to California.
“Thank you, Novan.” Anna said.
“I'll pick you up on Anna's departure day. And this time Mr. Eddison will come with you.” reply Novan.
“Good.”
“I excuse me.”
Novan got out of Anna's house and left in his car. A few minutes later, a sedan arrived in front of Anna's house.
“Anna! Anna! Anna, open the door, please!” said Zack.
Zack knocks on the door of Anna's house, which Anna does not open. “Anna! I know you're inside, Anna. Open the door, please! Anna.”
Anna remained tight-lipped on her stance. He stayed in the room and did not open the door for Zack. Zack stays at the door until Anna opens the door for him.
Zack spent the night in front of Anna's house. Long enough she waited for Anna to open the door until she unknowingly fell asleep in front of Anna's house. Zack woke up when it was morning and the sun was shining brightly that morning.

Until a black sedan comes to Anna's house. Zack noticed the car and gave a sharp look as soon as the rider got out of the car. A man. His car and face are no strangers to Zack. Because Zack saw it yesterday. Zack memorized the man who picked up Anna yesterday with his car plate. Novan walked into Anna's house with a plastic bag containing food that was still warm.
“Who are you? What needs to go to Anna's house?” ask Zack.
“I was asked to give this to Miss Gartner.” replied Novan.
“Who ordered you?” ask Zack.
“Then, go. And tell the person who ordered you not to bring food for Anna.” anymore, Zack said.
“Sorry, but I only carry out orders from my boss.” reply Novan.
Anna finally opened the door after hearing two men arguing in front of her house.
“Anna.”
“Nona Gartner, I brought this to you.” said Novaan.
“Thank you.” said Anna.
“Then, I excuse you.” Reply Novan. Then he got back in his car and left Anna's house.
“Anna, we're not done talking, Anna.” Zack told Anna.
“It's done, Zack. So too with our relationship. Nothing to talk about anymore.” reply Anna.
“Completed? Our relationship just finished? After 6 years? It's not that easy, Anna. Think about the fate of our child in your stomach.” said Zack.
“Our child? Don't you doubt the child I'm carrying? Our relationship is over, Zack. So, stop.” reply Anna.
“No, Anna. That night I was just emotional. I realized my words were wrong and hurt your heart.” said Zack.
“How about I say the child I'm carrying right now is not your child? Except the boy from earlier?” ask Anna.
Zack remained silent.
“Laki-man just now? Impossible.” said Zack.
“The man worked for a very wealthy man. And the one I've been seeing all night in a tight, knee-length dress, it's her. I also receive money from him every month. You want honesty from me, ’kan? This is my honesty.” Anna replied.

“We will start our new life in California.” Anna added.
Zack held onto Anna's shoulders. “This is all not true, ’kan, Anna? Tell me. Everything you said earlier is not true, ’kan?” said Zack.
“I know you believe what I said earlier.” reply Anna.
“Anna, please! That's not all true! The child you are carrying is my son!” zack said in a high voice.
“Go back to your wife and mother, Zack.” reply Anna.
“Until you meet again. 6 years with you is the most beautiful journey in my life.” Anna said then went inside her house.
“Anna!” Zack no longer had the power to knock on Anna's door. He was so limp for a moment.
And so is Anna. After closing and locking the door of her house, Anna's body slumped to the floor while holding her mouth so that her cries could not be heard.
Never did he imagine his relationship with Zack would end like this. They have gone through so many happy moments together that they feel that this world belongs to them. They feel like they are the happiest people in the world. Before the exam came hitting them.
