RISE OF CHIMERA: The Beginning Of This Story
~FIGHTING BEAR 1~
For a moment, the three of them silently looked at the bear who had mounted horses to attack them. The brown bear's eyes were so full of lust that they made the three of them shudder in fear.
“Haaah, let me just go forward.”
Suddenly Kenichi made a very risky decision. He took the initiative to come forward and stand in front of Yoki and Gaia. He was actually scared, but if he wasn't the one protecting his friends, who else?
By releasing the bag he was carrying, he was ready to fight the bear.

Kenichi muttered while picking up a pointy wood that was below.

As he took a step forward, there was something pulling him from behind. She was Gaia, who was looking at him with a worried look.
“You trust me, right? After all, friends should trust each other.”
He did not expect any answer from Yoki and Gaia. Kenichi turned around again and took off the handle.

Armed with only courage and a branch of wood, he came forward. Facing the bear who will be his opponent.
His victory was still vague and well, the one he fought was not a person but a creature that relied on his instincts.

The bear screamed in pain as his back was pierced by the wood Kenichi was holding. As for his opponent, Kenichi no longer had any weapons. Because the wood was stuck so deep, it broke in two. One was still stuck on the bear's back and the other was still in his grasp.
But the bear did not let his opponent breathe a sigh of relief, he immediately jumped and butted Kenichi to the point of bouncing away.
If only Kenichi had been given at least three seconds, perhaps he could have taken a swing to dodge the attack.

Kenichi with a swift step immediately holds the two jaws that have been gaped. He's holding. But as an additional step, the bear gave a boost.
It could be said to be a failure, because their strength was balanced. In the end, none of them were encouraged and were still in the same position. The bear tried to push with all four legs.
As for Kenichi, the way it stands is not good. The right foot is forward, while the left leg is bent to form the horses behind. So that when he dodged, then the chance of being hit by an attack was also getting bigger.
Even if they are balanced, it will all end with a time limit. Maintaining each other's positions, this had taken quite a long time.

Kenichi is still stirring in the heart. He continued to hold the body of the bear which has now shown its superiority. Kenichi is driven, although not much.

His opponent became even angrier, it seemed like he was unwilling to budge. He sent out a counterattack with one claw cast.
Kenichi can still avoid it. But for the second attack, he could not dodge. The attack was added with a powerful jump and that meant, the range of the bear was greater than Kenichi.
In the end, three claw incisions were painted diagonally across Kenichi's abdomen.
