Ch.64: Someone Behind the Bushes

That night Andi and her exorcist colleagues split up to look for Riko. They were divided into several teams, namely Andi and Fuurin moving east of the road. Then, Nana and Erick looked towards the west. For Ruri, Miki, and Ran were looking towards the south of the road.

They continued to search every corner of the place, but still did not find where Riko was.

Andi and Fuurin walked along the edge of the road adjacent to the town's small stream. They searched in some places even to the bush.

“Chairman, what kind of place do you think that person brought Riko?” fuurin asked breaking the silence.

“Now, I also do not understand .. whether it is he who brought it or not, it's just that before the person said that we will definitely find Riko, he said, he gave no clue at all how we could find him,” replied Andi who was also confused.

“Hmm ... roughly how is it with the others, have they found any hints?” ask Fuurin curiously.

“Entahlah, but if any of them have found it .. of course they will give word,” said Andi calm down.

Andi coughed again because the air was cold enough and his condition had not recovered, really making it difficult.

“Chairman, don't push yourself too much .. Let me look for it, you rest first,” pinta Fuurin worry.

“No problem, we are just looking for someone, not to fight .. so this is not a big problem for me, besides your own hands are also being injured, too, how could I let you go alone,” Andi replied kindly.

“Hei! whatever creature's in there, hurry! come out and show yourself!” fuurin shouted with a slightly high intonation.

Long enough to wait, but there is still no answer or reaction from the mysterious creatures that are behind the bushes.

Without waiting any longer, Fuurin immediately approached the suspicious object earlier.

“I'll check the place, the chairman stay here to keep an eye,” pinta Fuurin seriously.

“Well, beware Miss Fuurin,” witty little worried Andi.

“Calm down, I must be careful .. just a moment to be sure,” Fuurin firmly before starting to step into his destination.

With a slow pace Fuurin began to pull out his special weapon, the spiritual string.

He used it to reveal what was behind the bushes, and by tying and removing the object around him, Fuurin finally managed to open and see what was behind it.

Without a long pause, a black shadow shot out from the place and smashed the surrounding bush. The strange object that could extend and move freely shrank back into hiding.

“Device again huh? and that was ...,” murmured Fuurin with a piece of sentence rumpang.

“Sort of tentacles?” andi was also curious.

“Maybe.”

Shortly after, the bushes swayed again, at the same time they heard a faint voice like someone asking for help.

“Chairman, I heard a human voice that was asking for help,” said Fuurin who was quite panicked.

“I also heard it, let's move immediately!” andi is serious.

The two of them instantly prepared their respective attacks to drag the strange creature out of its hiding place.

Andi used lightning strikes to tear and scorch the surrounding bushes that were blocking. However, he slightly lowered the voltage on the lightning element he was using so as not to injure someone who was behind there.

After the creature was completely exposed, Fuurin used the string to attack the creature.

Some of it was used to bind one of the tentacles of the creature that was wrapped around a human there, while the other string he used to attack, bind, and strangle the tentacles of the devil.

Fuurin pulled then plucked the string of strings and produced a considerable spiritual echo. After the demon started to weaken, he used the opportunity to destroy one of the demon tentacles.

After the tentacles were cut off, Fuurin swiftly pulled the human body away from where the demon was.

In anticipation of a counterattack, Andi uses his needles to attack the devil, followed by small-scale explosions that are enough to weaken the demon.

“I understand,” reply is short.

Andi quickly grabbed a human who had previously been pulled out by Fuurin from the devil's grip, then took him to safety.

Although in an already weakened state, the demons could still attack aggressively. Finally without realizing it a tentacle quickly shot towards Andi.

Andi who was carrying someone became a little difficult to avoid a sudden attack. He also fell, although the attack did not fully hit him, but due to the attack his left cheek became slightly scratched and bloody.

“Kaichou!!” fuurin shouted in panic.

“No problem, I can overcome this .. the rest you please clean the creature, my energy is very limited,” Andi replied while moving to find a safe place.

“Good chairman!” sahut Fuurin obeyed.

After finding a stone wall that was strong enough, Andi took refuge in that place while looking at the fight from afar. If Fuurin gets into trouble, he will help her again.

“Sorry to trouble you and thank you for saving me,” said someone he saved earlier.

“No problem, it is our duty to exterminate the demons,” Andi said firmly.

“Exorcist yes? great!” exclaim that guy.

“True, we are an exorcist although not from an official organization but some of us have been licensed, so we can already start a mission or something like that,” explained Andi briefly.

“So yes, but is it okay to let the lady there fight alone?” ask the guy again.

“Don't worry, he's pretty great! besides that the demon level is still quite low I am sure he can handle it,” replied Andi calmly.

“So yes, by the way I see from your appearance, it seems like you have been involved in a serious fight before huh?” ask the guy again.

“Yes that is, and now I have really run out of steam to the point of handing this fight to a colleague of mine, but don't get me wrong first ... I didn't fight because I didn't want to be a burden to my partner, yeah .. While watching I would gather energy, if anything happened I would use that to help him, yeah,” explained Andi with her calm expression.

“Yes, I think it's a wise choice .. I actually want to help, too, but I don't know what to do, although I am a man but still fighting to defeat the creature is very difficult,” reply is weak.

“There is no need to be discouraged, the devil is not a natural creature to be defeated by ordinary humans, not many of them can overcome it because it leaves this task to the exorcists, you do not doubt the lady there ... she is quite strong both physically and spiritually,” Andi explained as she cheered her interlocutor.

“Alright, once again thank you yes,” add that person again.

“Sama-sama,” Reply Andi briefly.

On the other hand Fuurin who had previously been quite upset with the tempestuous demon was also intending to hasten and end the fight immediately, in addition to limited manpower ... seeing the two people there made him a little rushed due to his feelings of worry.

‘They both certainly need immediate treatment, besides we have to find Riko too, I can't waste any longer,’ Bhatin Fuurin is quite chaotic.

Fuurin began to sigh calmly, then concentrated on the energy flow on his special weapon. In a short time Fuurin changed the rhythm of his once normal attacks to become more brutal. He instantly cut off every single demon tentacle and repeated it many times before the demon could regenerate.

When it got a little gap, quickly the string rope was immediately wrapped around the entire body of the devil like a living root.

After the winding became tight and strong, then Fuurin plucked the string rope with a strong and quite dark spiritual energy.

After the explosion ended, the demon immediately vanished unceremoniously. Andi who continued to pay attention to the fight also sighed again.

“Huftt .. basic miss Fuurin,” murmured Andi.

“Eh, why?” ask someone curious.

“Nothing, for sure he has completed his mission well and the demon had disappeared, we can come out now,” explained Andi while inviting the person to come out of hiding.

“Ah yes, thank goodness she is fine ... Then, come on!” said the man with a feeling of relief.

Fuurin, who had successfully completed the mission, waved her hand and smiled before starting to move and join her whereabouts.
