Waking Up in the Midnight

"You're too golden, for I'm just marimas powder."

Ry walked hand in hand with the man while crossing the highway. Ry and the man are at a crossroads.

"You wait here I'll take the bike first." The man takes his hand off Ry and walks to get the bike.

"Yes." Yeah." Ry can only hold his head, Ry is still surprised because the man suddenly approached and took Ry's hand while crossing the highway.

"Let's go up!" The man rode a patrol motorcycle and stopped the bike right in front of Ry.

"Ry's riding a mase." Ry was already on the patrol bike that Kevin was driving.

"I'm sorry I can't pick you up."Kevin rode on a patrol motorcycle, glancing in the rearview mirror to see Ry sitting behind Kevin.

"Don't apologize, Ry knows mase ketja." Ry feels a little happy because Kevin is waiting for Ry to be saved.

"Where is the first day of college?" ask Kevin.

"Alhamdulillah." Kevin breathed heavily after learning Ry's answer.

"Why do you think Mase?" Ry is confused by the words of Kevin who feels grateful that Ry is not acquainted with the man.

"I don't want you to meet just anyone, girl or boy," said Kevin.

"Certainly why the motorbike did not walk from earlier?Ry notices the patrol motor that has stopped about 5 minutes at the place.

" Oh.yes." After listening to Ry's words, Kevin immediately rode his motorcycle.

Without Kevin and Ry realizing from a distance far enough there is a biker who from then on continues to pay attention to Kevin and Ry. Kevin stopped his bike in his yard. Ry first got off the bike and then walked towards the porch.

"Assalamu'alaikum." Ry takes off his shoes and walks towards the porch.

"Walaikumsalam, are you coming home together?"Mother who walked out of the stall next to the house. Mother walked towards the terrace of the house.

"Yes aunty." Ry's yapping the back of aunty's hand.

"Walaikumsalam, Kevin must be tired. Let's go inside the house." Mother pulls Kevin's arm to invite Kevin into the house.

After Mother and Kevin enter the new house Ry goes after them. Kevin and Mom were in the living room.

"You get Kevin a drink quickly." Mother told Ry to get Kevin a drink.

"Don't let Kevin take it for himself." Kevin who could not bear to see Ry's face that looks tired coming home from campus, then Kevin refused the mother told Ry to take a drink for Kevin.

"Kevin must be tired of working all day so it's better to sit here and straighten your legs. You get Kevin a drink quick." Mother told Kevin to sit in the living room on the mat.

"Mase just sit down and let Ry get you a drink." After saying that Ry immediately walked towards the kitchen. Ry opens the refrigerator and Ry picks up a bottle of water. Ry drank the water in the bottle until it was exhausted in just one gulp.

"Ah tuh child is told to take drinking water just ask for forgiveness." Mother who sat beside Kevin was upset with Ry who had not yet come to bring drinking water for Kevin.

"Prophe mother, soon Tary also came." Kevin asks his mother patiently he is sure that Ry will soon come to bring him drinking water.

"You take a drink or make a drink? " Mother looked towards Ry who was walking while carrying a bottle of white water in her hand. Mother spoke in this tone to Ry.

"Ry grab a drink sorry wait a long time, nih mase." Ry gave Kevin a bottle of water.

"Thank you, glug glug." Kevin takes a bottle of water from Ry's hand. After that Kevin sipped the water in the bottle up to half.

"Back of love, mase and aunt Ry go to the room to change clothes." Ry says goodbye to them to go to the room.

After changing into clothes Ry immediately walked towards the back of Kevin's house. Ry was standing in front of the clothesline and Ry lifted all the clothes on the clothesline. Ry brought all the dry clothes into the house.

After finishing all the housework, Ry lay on the bed while resting his body on the bed. Kevin who had just finished his bath looked towards Ry who was already asleep with a face so tired. Until dinner time Ry had not woken up from his sleep.

"Tary woke up this night." Kevin tries to wake up Ry who is still soundly asleep on the bed.

"It's time for dinner" said Kevin.

"You're really like a buffalo, if you haven't been sleeping." Kevin's been trying to wake Ry up from earlier but Ry doesn't wake up at all.

"Well, I ate first." Hungry Kevin leaves Ry in the room.

Kevin was already sitting on the bench that was in front of the dining table.

"Where is he?"mom saw Kevin alone.

"She's sleeping" Kevin replied.

"So we just ate three?" ask Jojo.

"Yes deck" Ry replied.

Ry who felt like he was urinating finally woke up. Ry walking with his tiptoed footsteps would be inaudible to Kevin. Ry walks like a thief who's afraid of being discovered. Ry opened the room door slowly.

As Ry walks past the family room Ry sees a clock on the wall that is pointing at 00.00 wib means Ry is up in the middle of the night. After Ry finished urinating, Ry felt restless because he did not feel like urinating. Ry came out of the room and suddenly Ry's stomach rang.

Ry who hears her stomach ringing as a sign that Worms have been protesting for food. Ry walks towards the dining table when Ry is already at the dining table Ry opens the food hood that is on the dining table Ry is surprised to see the contents of the food hood.
