Silver Hawks

Gus Mukhlas does not discuss the Book of Al-Hikam. Worried that Faisal would be a hindrance to his mission.

Clapping his hands, Faisal praised Asrul's privilege. "Looky! It turned out that my friend Asrul was the spearhead of the noble Mbah Jena struggle. I salute you, friend."

Gus Mukhlas was shocked to hear Faisal's flattery against Mbah Jena. "Sorry, if you may know how far Mr. Faisal knows about Mbah Jena's struggle?"

"Why does the Imam ask that? Doesn't everyone know that Mbah Jena has a book that can change the world? To be honest, I also wanted the book, if no one knew. Unfortunately Mbah Jena has taught the content of the book to the public. This is what everyone fought for, eventually backfiring Mbah Jena himself."

Not long after Faisal entered his tent, a black-robed figure emerged from his shadow. The figure wears a face cover.

"Oh? I almost never heard Master Kawamatsu praise another knight." Faisal smiled faintly at the face-covering figure. Faisal had just heard the face-covering figure was praising Asrul and Gus Mukhlas.

The face-covering man in front of him was Kawamatsu. He was one of the famous knights who worked for the Lotus family. Kawamatsu is an Illuminator, with his special techniques he can hide in someone's shadow. Faisal is the only young generation of the Lotus family who is so talented that Kawamatsu always protects him at all times.

"Not only did the sacrificial Priest realize my presence, even his young disciple could also see me hiding in the shadow of the Young Master..." Kawamatsu's heart paused for a moment when he realized Asrul was staring at him with a big smile.

Faisal's eyes widened, he found it hard to believe Kawamatsu's words. Faisal could finally only smile awkwardly and was grateful that he was not acting arrogant in front of the extraordinary Master and Disciple couple.

Kawamatsu also added that if he had to fight against Gus Mukhlas, he felt there was a small chance he could come out as a winner. Kawamatsu himself did not suspect that Siguntang Hill has a young fighter who is so talented.

"Teacher, I'd like to practice for a while before going to bed." Even though it was dark but still not so night for Asrul to rest, he wanted to find a quiet place and practice breathing as usual.

"Don't go too far, this place isn't too safe." Gus Mukhlas did not forbid it, he felt Asrul had the ability to protect himself to his limits.

Asrul nodded slowly before leaving Gus Mukhlas alone, knowing that every night during their journey, Gus Mukhlas trained his inner strength back. So Asrul let Gus Mukhlas alone in order to do the breathing exercises.

"Guru's condition has indeed become better than the previous days, but it still takes quite a long time to fully recover." Thought Asrul while shaking his head.

The deep wounds experienced by Gus Mukhlas were indeed so serious, if not for the strong physical qualities as well as the deep exertion and fairly high level of cultivation he had upon receiving the wound it was possible that Gus Mukhlas would have died within a few days or at least become paralyzed.

Gus Mukhlas was still able to survive as he was now and just having a light cough every night already showed the prowess of the talent he had.

"As long as Master's internal injuries can be healed, he can still reach the pinnacle of martial arts, just longer than he should..." Asrul muttered softly while looking for a quiet place. It seemed like the bodyguards seemed to be unconcerned about his whereabouts.

After learning that he was a disciple of Kun Billah's temple, the way the bodyguards looked at Asrul became different. Especially when they realize Gus Mukhlas is a famous knight, a figure who can end their lives all without difficulty.

Asrul went to a quiet place that was not too far from the group's camp. He then sat down cross-legged and started doing breathing exercises. Without caring around, Asrul began his training.

At the first time of doing breathing exercises, Asrul took eight hours to increase his cultivation, but since having a grand master level he only needed two hours to do breathing exercises.

If Asrul practiced non-stop, he could increase his cultivation to the great grand master stage, but Asrul was worried that there would be side effects. As far as Asrul knows, no fighter who is able to do routine daily breathing exercise techniques.

Some of the big guys may have enough ability to do it but no one will spend that much time on one person alone, they are more concerned with physical exercise and science.

Actually Asrul intended to do breathing exercises all night, but when he had only done it for two hours, he felt a movement in the trees not far from where he sat cross-legged.

"One.. Two.. Three... Three second-rate fighters." Asrul's eyes could see quite well in the darkness, he could see that three men wearing silvery masks were monitoring Faisal's camp from the top of the tree.

One of the three realized the presence of Asrul who was still in a cross-legged sitting position, he thought Asrul had not realized their existence, after all the distance Asrul and they were quite far away. even first-rate knights would not be able to detect the existence of the three within this distance. Let alone an ordinary young man who did not have the ability of a fighter.

The three masked fighters were still observing the camp for a while before leaving without a sound.

"From his movements, they were not just spies but trained to kill..." Asrul sighed, he then recalled an assassin organization that matched the traits of the three people he saw.

Silver Hawk, the largest assassin organization in the city of Mallorca. They'll kill anyone as long as they get paid. Its members are divided into several levels namely bronze mask, silver mask, gold mask and purple mask.

The assassin wearing the bronze mask had the ability equivalent to a third-rate fighter, the silver mask was equivalent to a second-rate fighter, the gold mask had the ability of a first-class fighter while the purple mask, the, the most elite members had abilities equivalent to great grand masters.

The organization is still relatively young, only about a hundred years old but their record of achievement is so long and the Silver Hawk is feared by many.

"Remember me the Silver Hawk was destroyed because they killed the main disciple of one of the strongest white-flowers years before the era of chaos began..." Asrul stroked his chin while trying to remember.
