SAVIOR

SAVIOR
Second Life

Something that changed Asrul's destiny in the most unimaginable way. Actually all this happened because in Asrul there is a Book of Al-Hikam.

"Is this what death feels like?..."

Asrul could feel his gaze slowly darkening, for him his last vision was the face of the most beautiful girl in the martial world could be said to be an achievement as well. Asrul was at least able to avenge his plots before dying, leaving no more regrets.

"Are there really no more regrets?"

Asrul felt like laughing, because he felt stupid. Who is he trying to lie to? So many regrets in his life that he could not fix but now regret it was useless.

"It's too late, except I can turn back the clock... What kind of stupid thoughts do I have?"

Now that Asrul felt in the darkness, the pain throughout his body also slowly disappeared signaling himself beginning to head into the afterlife.

"Teacher... Dad, Mum... I'm coming..."

When Asrul began to choose to resign and let go of everything suddenly a bright blue light appeared before him.

"Oh, is this the door to the afterlife?" Not yet had Asrul thought further, the bright blue light grew bigger and approached him. Asrul wanted to observe the light further but when the blue light hit his body, it seemed as if it had entered into him.

Asrul's body then emitted a bright blue light before his gaze turned dark again, but this time his entire body again felt pain although not as severe as before.

"Ouch! Ow hell! What's going on?!" Asrul tried to rebel from the pain he felt, shouldn't he be dead? Why does he still have to feel this kind of pain?

As As Asrul thrashed further, he realized he could open his eyes and found himself lying down while staring at the starry night sky.

"I'm not dead yet?" Asrul could not believe it, he tried to change his position to sit but his whole body was painful and difficult to move. Asrul believes he has died and this place also feels foreign to him, could the afterlife be different from what has been said in the scriptures? thought Asrul.

"Oh, are you conscious? I think it'll take a few more days." Asrul then found someone sitting in front of the fireplace not far from him, a young man wearing a long white turban. Although the young man had not been in his jump for a long time, Asrul was still able to recognize the person.

"Gus Mukhlas, why do you still use turban in the afterlife? Does Gus really like wearing turban to this nature?" Asrul immediately recognized this young man as Gus Mukhlas, someone who brought himself into the martial world.

Gus Mukhlas who originally approached Asrul with a gentle smile now stopped his steps and became alert, "How do you know myself named Mukhlas the young man? Who're you?"

"What the fuck..." Asrul held onto his head that was starting to hurt, he was sure he had been killed by such a severe wound but now he was in a situation he was starting to remember, "Wasn't this the first time I met my Master Gus Mukhlas? I go back in time? How's it possible?"

Asrul did not understand his condition, his head ached and he started to shout hysterically. No sane person could understand the situation that had happened to him. Gus Mukhlas who was alert now turned into pity because he saw the condition of Asrul.

"Take it easy, everything's gonna be okay..." Gus Mukhlas hugged Asrul who was hysterical, strangely the hug calmed Asrul after a while.

Gus Mukhlas did not force Asrul to tell further stories but rather let Asrul digest the situation he was facing.

During the night Asrul could not sleep, trying to find an explanation for the experience that was happening to him now. Occasionally Asrul could hear Gus Mukhlas coughing quietly in front of the fireplace all night.

Seeing Gus Mukhlas also not sleeping because he wanted to keep an eye on Asrul, worried that Asrul needed something or went back hysterically again made Asrul more quickly accept the situation.

"Maybe God gave me a chance to settle my regrets..." Asrul no longer cared if all this was illusion or reality, but he would live it. For him whatever he was going through, being able to meet his Master back was a blessing. Asrul did not understand why he returned when he was 19 years old, when he and his teacher, Mbah Jena in the residents' grebek. Asrul then dismissed the thought, because realizing back to the time earlier was also not necessarily he could save his teacher from the invasion of the citizens.

"Son, are you calm? Can you tell me where you're from? How did you end up in this place?" Gus Mukhlas began to ask after seeing Asrul's condition stabilized.

Asrul told everything to Gus Mukhlas, in his previous life it took a long time before Asrul could tell all the events raiding him and Mbah Jena to Gus Mukhlas because of the trauma he experienced. But this time Asrul could tell everything smoothly. Gus Mukhlas was quite amazed to see Asrul who was so young seemed calm in dealing with the situation that happened to him, Gus Mukhlas could also see everything Asrul told him was not a lie.

"Well, I understand your situation, how do you know my name? And why do you call me Teacher?"

Gus Mukhlas was dressed like an ordinary person, in addition to the white turban he always wore, of course while his weapons were hidden with cloth. There would not be many people who think Gus Mukhlas is a spiritual expert of his character, they would just think Gus Mukhlas is just an ordinary citizen.

Asrul scratched his head, he couldn't possibly tell Gus Mukhlas the truth that this was his second life. Finally Asrul can only make up the story that before waking up he dreamed of being raised as a disciple by a kiyai named Gus Mukhlas who also wears a turban.

Gus Mukhlas looked at Asrul from top to bottom, knowing his name was an oddity. To be honest, Gus Mukhlas had a hard time believing Asrul's story, but on the other hand Asrul was only a 19-year-old boy in Gus Mukhlas's eyes.

"There's no way I left him in this forest by myself, he said in his dream to recognize me as Master, is it possible that this young man was mentioned by Mbah Jena? Is that the man I'm looking for?" Gus Mukhlas stroked his chin.

Asrul was a little worried Gus Mukhlas this time would not raise him as a disciple due to his previous reaction, as well as Asrul was indeed so suspicious but if Asrul wanted to correct all his regrets in the past, he must come with Gus Mukhlas into the martial world.
