A second later, a portable tent appeared beside Lek Tho

Within minutes, the tantalizing smell of fried chicken struck Riota's nose.

but if we take a detour, it will take us a week to leave this exiled land. And the hordes of monsters that are after us only need one day to chase after us.".

Liu Ying was stunned.  He looked at the dark and tenebrous swamp in front and then at the dry and hot sand behind and gulped down a mouthful of saliva.

Riota held Lek Tho and sighed heavily then he said 'Ying'er we have two options. One, we pass through the swamp and with a bit of luck, we pass through it in one day and leave the land of seclusion, or we take a detour and chase thousands of monsters for seven days. Tell me Ying'er, what do you think is our best option?"

Liu Ying looked at the sky before sighing deeply and saying. "I just hope the crocodiles aren't too hungry ... Hey Riota-san, did you know that crocodiles prefer human flesh or demon meat?"

Regina grinned and smiled cunningly she replied. "fufufu~ Foolish Girl I'm sure the demon meat is more delicious. My grandfather let's let's use it as bait if the situation turns difficult."

Camilla may choose to sleep in the cryogenic room and wait until her sister finds a cure for the mother's condition, but the mother decides to die and leaves Adinya and Regina, although he knew all the pain that would be caused due to the death of his mother.

So, now that everyone else wanted to be a part of his sister's life, Regina would not allow it.

Mr. Regina does not need anyone who can betray or leave Adinya but . Regina was more than enough for her sister. She could take care of him, hear his sister's laughter and, talk to him, cook for him, and maybe love him.

In fact, if it wasn't for Regina fearing Adinya was angry with him, she would have killed that demonic girl a long time ago.

Fortunately, the demon girl was about to leave, or Regina would not be able to resist the urge to strangle her.

Group three plus two mechanical pets entered the swamp.

But once they entered the swamp, they faced their first major obstacle.

It was as if the smell of thousands of rotten eggs combined with rotten fruits.

Riota frowned and looked at Regina. " Sister Regina, please use a breathing mask."

"Son't understand Diki."   Regina nodded and took out two breathing masks. One for her sister and one for her.

Regina then looked at Liu Ying with a proud expression.

Although Liu Ying had never seen such a mask, he was instantly aware of its function.

Thus, seeing that Regina was not planning to give it to her, Liu Ying looked at Riota with pitiful eyes and wanted to cry.

"Hmmm!"  Regina snorted angrily but obeyed the orders of her beloved sister.

Since the trees were blocking the sunlight, the swamp was rather dark. A normal person could see at most a few meters in front, but neither Riota nor Regina and Liu Ying the three of them were normal people. None of them were bothered by the lack of light.

When Liu Ying felt mud at his feet, he grimaced and said "It feels so disgusting."

'Ying'er calm down don't be afraid of nothing there' Riota said smiling she calmed down the frightened Liu Ying

a few minutes later Riota stopped walking. When he turned towards Liu Ying, he realized that his expression was filled with fear.

"R-Riota-san I'm scared ..."  Said Liyu Ying still in fear.

"Ying'er calm down and don't move."   Riota's voice moved his hand and tried to calm him down as he unsheathed his sword. Liu Ying nodded nervously, but then, his expression changed.

Before Riota could react, his body was swallowed by mud.

"AH!"  Liu Ying let out a short scream before being swallowed by the mud.

Riota's expression changed. "Yin'er!"

The next second, Lek Tho transformed into armor and covered Riota's body.  Riota charged towards the direction where Liu Ying disappeared from and brandished his sword.

Riota could see Liu Ying's location through his thermal vision, so Riota calculated the location of the enemy dragging Liu Ying down and filled her sword with psychic energy.

"EEEEEKKKKKKK!" An ominous shout resounded in the forest and attacked Riota's ears. The sword attack had cut through whatever it was.

Unfortunately, it's not dead.

Riota clenched his teeth and ignored him. After which, he pulled Liu Ying out of the mud.

* Cough cough [uhuk uhuk uhuk!"   said Liu Ying spewed out a mouthful of mud and took a deep breath.

But then, something attacked Riota from above.

'my sister watch out carefully' exclaimed Regina worried for her sister then she formed an energy sword in her hand and slashed at the attacker. Regina then spun around quickly and cut off another attack coming from a different direction.

But at that moment, dozens of projectiles flew towards them.

Riota held Liu Ying in his hand and jumped to the side. Brown and gray projectiles chased them, coming from the mud and trees and cutting off their escape routes.

"That's a tree!" Riota was shocked

"wanjer The trees are alive!" riota said with a frown on his face he was wary.

"Sister, watch behind you!"   regina's exclaim commemorates her ad.

Riota did not hesitate and jumped to the side, barely avoiding the branch like a spear. She then hugged Liu Ying's body then Riota somewhat embarrassedly said 'Ying'er are you alright and please stand up and be alert in this swamp'.

"t-thank you Riota-san you helped me, aheem well I'll be on my guard too'."   Said Liu Ying wiping the mud from his face and entering his fighting mode position.

The branches and roots of the surrounding trees pierced towards them. Hundreds of branches and roots like spears attacked at the same time. The power behind each strike was comparable to a bullet!

Although Riota was confident that his armor could withstand the attack, he did not want to bet with his life and block every blow. Plus, even if a branch alone was unable to break through the energy shield of his armor, hundreds of branches would eventually overwhelm his defenses.

In addition, trees are not just trying to penetrate it. Some roots try to snare their bodies and drag them into the mud to be used as fertilizer.

Riota's expression turned serious. They were completely surrounded by trees, and the number of attacks was so great that their hands were full just to defend. It is impossible to attack. Moreover, he was not sure how which tree was a monster and which one was a tree.
