The unexpected meeting

"Darling, are you happy?" rafael said as he touched my hand

"Yes, even I thought this was just a dream" I said with a sad expression

"Stand on my shoulder!"

Seeing the sad look on my face Rafael asked me to lean on his shoulder and it made me calm and comfortable.

He who is my husband now has a very good attitude, pampering me and giving my best.

It didn't take long to arrive at the event venue which was in a luxurious building in the center of the city.

Rafael is a guest of VVIP because he is one of the largest company owners in the city even myself who used to be very curious about his famous figure in business and did not expect now I became a woman the lucky one could have him and be his wife.

While I with Alexa's very beautiful face makes many people jealous to see myself walking side by side with Rafael.

Arriving in the room many greeted us but Rafael advised me not to answer their welcome too much and just smile.

Raphael did not let me go alone and continued to be beside him while I looked around and saw the bodyguards standing at every corner of this banquet.

His face turned into shock and tried to restrain himself from being provoked by me.

I thought maybe Rafael was afraid that I would be in danger if I was away from him and separated from him or maybe Rafael was afraid that I would run away and leave him while he was busy with the important people he met.

The event was held to gather the owners of the largest companies and shares in the region but many medium-sized companies were invited to the event.

After saying hello to some important people, Rafael invited me to drink because he felt his wife must be thirsty especially he talked to them long enough.

As we walked there was a man running towards me and pulling my hand from behind.

"Fiona?!" he said he was pulling my hand

I was very surprised and immediately turned to see who recognized me only from behind my body without seeing my face.

"De, devan" I said in my heart, surprised as if in disbelief

She shed tears like when I slumped in my room and fainted.

"It seems you're wrong!" said Rafael who pulled my hand and grabbed me

Hearing Rafael's words made me realize that I was about to cry and admit that I was Fiona in front of Devan.

Although Devan was finally surprised when he saw my face but it seems like he recognized me.

Then the director at Devan's company came to us.

"I apologize for my employee's sassness Mr. Rafael" while lowering his face and directing Devan to follow him

"Not a problem but who is he it seems I just saw him?" rafael told director Devan

"He was the new manager at our company after the best manager at our company died" the director said

"Oh so yeah, it seems you should know this is my wife Alexa Seager, in the future never dare to touch her hands! remember that!" rafael looked angry

"Okay sir, please forgive my carelessness towards your wife" Devan said, bowing to Rafael

Then Raphael took me to a room in the building where there were only two of us there, it seemed like the room was dedicated to Rafael.

He hugged me tightly without saying any words.

"Rafael, do I still look like Fiona? why would he recognize me?" I said while holding back the crying

"Darling you don't have to think about a lot of the most important things you have right now is my wife. I don't like the way he looks at you"

"Why? it was not that the gaze of looking at the superior he respected"

He came out and asked Max to accompany me.

I asked Max to return the show that just ran half of it.

There I tried to find a place that was not too crowded while trying a drink that caught my attention.

"Alexa?" said a woman who recognized me

Since I didn't know him I ignored him while drinking what I wanted to try before.

I had time to think if I had properly ignored the woman but from the look of her face looks dislike towards Alexa.

"Max, who's that girl?" I said the curious

"That's your college friend Mrs Alexa" he said casually

"Huh? why would you act like that if he was my friend?" my astonished words

"The woman once attacked Mrs Alexa out of envy, I'm afraid this time she's making trouble again"

"Hoho.it looks like Max can count on!"

"Do I look like Alexa?" while whispering to Max for fear of sounding someone else

Max was very surprised and immediately turned around after I whispered and saw a slight expression on his face that looked embarrassed.

"Hm..Max?" I said while patting her shoulder

"Yes, Madam"

He returned to the starting position a step back beside me.

"Max, I'm bored! when is Rafael coming?"

"Wait a little while Mrs" he said without expression as before
