Secretary Charm
Chapter.27 Feeling Guilty

Not only Alle, Aksa also ran quickly to the location of the drowning people. Without a second thought the man immediately threw himself into the pool when he saw Chilla who was a victim. Grabbing Chilla who had been struggling.

Trying as fast as possible, Aksa takes Chilla up. Alle immediately carried Chilla to the edge and laid her tiny body on the poolside floor. Observing Chilla's breathing. He slightly raised Chilla's head.

"Chilla, dear ...," call Alle with fear.

Fortunately Chilla was still conscious because she quickly got help. The boy spewed water that accidentally entered his body and coughed afterwards.

Panicked Alle immediately woke Chilla's body in a sitting position. He rubbed Chilla's back carefully. After successfully vomiting, Chilla cried loudly calling Alle. "Mrs ...."

"Yes, honey, it's Mama." Alle hugged Chilla. Swiping his daughter's back to calm down.

Before long the pool security officers came to unravel the crowd. The sinking of Chilla did attract the attention of other visitors to form a crowd who wanted to see Chilla.

"How's it going, Mom?" ask the security officer who approached Chilla.

Alle was speechless as she was still in a phase of shock seeing what had just happened.

"Let's just take it to the clinic" the security officer said.

Aksa agreed because he felt it was the best choice.

"Come, Chilla." Aksa lifted Chilla's small body and followed the security guard. Alle who was still in disbelief just quietly followed behind Aksa.

The clinic is still in a tourist location. There's a doctor there who's checking on Chilla.

Thankful, all of Chilla's condition is fine. Just leaving shock on the little boy.

Alle could not escape from calming Chilla. He whispered the words to make Chilla calmer. After changing Chilla's clothes with dry clothes, and she also changed clothes, Alle decided to end the holiday today. They returned home with Aksa.

Chilla was sitting behind me by Alle who seemed unwilling to let her daughter alone. He kept Chilla in his lap. Silence filled their journey. No longer as happy as when they left.

Chilla who felt calm in her mother's arms immediately fell asleep. Alle is still overcome with fear.

Guilt rippled through Alle's mind. There was something he regretted about why this happened. He should have been more vigilant in looking after Chilla. He shouldn't have gone to bed to make Chilla like this.

It should all be crammed into the brain. Makes Alle feel guilty.

"We have arrived" said Aksa who turned to the passenger bench to tell. The man, since then, has not spoken. He left Alle in silence because he knew how panicked and afraid she was to find her daughter drowning. Aksa just wanted to give her a quiet space without bothering her.

The man immediately went down and opened the door for Alle and her daughter.

"Thank you" said Alle lethargic. He brought Chilla in by carrying her. As if you don't want to be apart.

Aksa helped bring down Alle's luggage earlier. He put Alle's bags on the table in the living room. Then pamit. Right now, Alle must only want to be alone with Chilla.

"I go home first" said Aksa. There was no reply from Alle because the woman went straight into the room. Aksa came out and closed the door of her secretary's house.

In the room, Alle put Chilla to bed. He also lay there while holding the child tightly. Swiping Chilla's head many times.

Apologies unceasingly flowed from the woman's lips. Guilt makes him no longer able to stem the tears that pool in the fertilizer.

"Sorry, Mama, Honey," said Alle.

"Sorry, Chilla ...." Alle kissed the princess's forehead.

The next morning, Aksa sends a message to Alle to keep her from entering today. The boss gives Alle leave so she can take care of Chilla first.

Reading the message from his superior made Alle's heart feel calm. At least for today he can join Chilla. Because that's what he wants.

Ms. Imas who just came and found Alle crying in the living room inevitably asked about what happened. It wasn't usual for him to see Alle crying like this.

Alle told her frankly to Mbak Imas. He also expressed his guilt to his daughter.

Ms. Imas who was shocked by the story Alle immediately hugged the woman he already considered like a brother. Not to forget he gave support for Alle to stop blaming himself.

"I'm not a good mother to Chilla, Ma'am."

"Sttt .. don't talk like that, All. There is no bad mother. All mothers do their best for their children. Yesterday it was a disaster, we cannot avoid it" said Ms Imas calmed down.

Alle's getting more and more excited. "If I wasn't too absorbed in myself, Chilla wouldn't be like this" Alle said.

"Mrs ...." Chilla appeared from inside the room. The kid just woke up. He walked towards Alle who was crying hugged by Mbak Imas.

"Darling," Alle immediately broke away from Mbak Imas and hugged Chilla who approached him.

"Why is Mama crying?" Chilla looked at Alle's face.

"Mama doesn't cry, honey. Mama just. ..." Alle could not continue her words. Tears flowed back on both of her cheeks.

"Chilla's fine, really, Ma. Mama don't be sad anymore" said Chilla wiped her mother's tears.

"Yesterday Chilla wasn't careful, so it slipped. Mama also don't blame Om boss, he's not wrong. All because Chilla herself is not obedient Mama said not to go far but Chilla instead went not alone."

Chilla's confession further made Alle's heart melt. The little boy really had a clean heart. Even when she was almost a victim of her mother's carelessness, Chilla still did not want her mother to feel guilty. He admits that it was all his own fault.

Alle tried to smile at what Chilla said even though her tears would not stop flowing. It's getting louder. He kissed Chilla's head many times. Apologized for his mistake yesterday.

"Sorry, Mama, Honey," said Alle. Hugged Chilla again.

"Chamila." The sound of the doorway distracts all of Alle's attention, Chilla is also Ms. Imas.

They were all staring at Fadil who was standing staring at them.

"Father!" chilla exclaimed and ran over to Fadil.

"You're fine, aren't you, sweetheart" said Fadil, wiping Chilla's head. "How, does anyone get sick. If anyone says, honey. Later Papa take it to the doctor," continued Fadil.

There's something strange about Fadil's question. Did Fadil know that Chilla almost drowned yesterday.
