Secrets (Who Are You?)
Prologues
A beautiful morning was greeted with happiness from the hearts of everyone. He opened the window of his room. The glare of the morning sun instantly pierced through his pair of eyes.
Today is the anniversary of a thousand days after his departure. Still he remembered how 'He' went without a word of farewell. He even found out that 'He' had left after a notary met him to read a will.
Meika, the woman who was reminiscing about 'She' was Meika, a twenty-five-year-old woman who had just had her wedding two weeks ago. A marriage that takes place without the presence of 'He'. Reina's.
A thousand days ago Reina left him after donating her heart to Meika. How beautiful a Reina is. A figure who never wanted to be called a friend, but in fact more willing to sacrifice his life for someone like Meika.
Reina is a mysterious girl that Meika met thirteen years ago.
The two met after accidentally colliding in the corridor of their school. That day both were still wearing blue white uniforms with plain looks typical of children who became teenagers.
Meika's frail body that fell down did not feel any pain because it turned out that Reina was holding it back by pulling her hand. Twelve-year-old Reina just smiled showing her neatly arranged rows of teeth. She led Meika to sit on the stairs not far from the corridor where they met.
"I'm Reina, who are you?" He introduced himself by thrusting his hand at Meika.
"Meica." The frail girl introduced herself briefly.
For Meika, there was no introduction of two special human children. People will only look good at introductions, after which they will look like people who do not know each other. That's what makes Meika reluctant to have friends. To him, a friend was just a figure that made him more depressed by the circumstances.
"do you have a disease? your body looks so frail."
At the introduction, someone will prefer to be quiet when seeing the condition of the person who has just been met. However Reina, the girl chose to have another impression at the beginning of the meeting. Even though he knew the question sounded impolite.
"Do you have heart failure?" Reina asked again after not getting a response from her interlocutor.
"you're not polite." Meika replied while chuckling softly
"Sorry, my mouth is too slippery." Reina realized her mistake. He was too honest with the circumstances, that was what made him have a different impression.
"You're right, I've had heart failure, but how do you know?"
No one had ever realized about Meika's condition before. Everyone prefers to look for the information behind Meika. Of course it makes him offended, because after knowing the facts. They'll start to walk away from him and leave or pretend they don't know each other.
"jaundice, mental confusion and asteryxical tremor. You're experiencing it right?" said Reina
"I just found out that there's someone who can pay attention to that detail at the beginning of the meeting, or maybe you've been spying on my everyday life?" Among the amazement was Meika throwing a question that sounded like a joke in Reina's ear.
"Geez, really I just saw you today, I actually don't know why I can be so considerate of something. I can even remember what page in the book of the exclopaedics I found out about liver failure. I read it when I was in the fourth grade of elementary school." Reina said
That day for Meika was her encounter with the miracle of God. He felt more alive and his heart that almost lost its life was like being given one more chance for an extension of time. Meika wants to be with the girl longer and hear more magical stories.
"Well, I'll see you in class." Reina left, leaving Meika still silent on the stairs.
Until Reina's body disappears behind the room in front of her, Meika just realized Reina's last words about meeting in class. Are they in the same class?
He immediately stood up, walking his feet in the direction of where Reina was walking. Although slow but the steps are impressed for sure. Although impressed there was a secret, but for him there was no doubt after his meeting.

The class was cold, everyone looked on indifferently. Everyone is busy with their world. Naturally, this class was the superior class. All that is in it are people who only care about the competition of report value. The tail of Meika's eyes stared at the number two bench from behind which was located on the second row of the wall. There, Reina sat sweetly with the comic in her hand. His ears were covered with headphones.
Meika saw the bench on the left of Reina which was directly adjacent to the classroom wall was still empty. He chose to put himself there. Reina who focused on her comics seemed to be unconcerned. Yet apparently...
"You didn't see me, how could you know it was me?" Meika asked, she did not know if the girl who was seen focusing on the comic book was aware of her existence.
"I saw you for five seconds when the classroom door opened." Reina replied while pointing towards the classroom door.
"it looks like we could be two people walking together. Can it be like that. I feel like I have to trust you." Meika suddenly said.
"whatever it is. I also feel that we'll bond well after the introduction."
Such was the story of the meeting of the two, the first day in thirteen years ago. The sons of men who do not know each other are then well bound without a pretense. Although sometimes there is a little regret about why the two behave like that. But as time passes, Meika realizes that Reina is also living with her own trauma.
About friends who to him are just an illusion. A friend is just someone who pretends to believe in order to gain a certain advantage. Sometime after that first meeting, Reina started telling me about her elementary school years. He doesn't have someone who's really his friend. The classic reason is because he is poor. He was able to get into a favorite junior high school also no other thanks to his services to his elementary school. The old woman who became the principal applied for Reina in the scholarship program.
"one of the people who pretended to be friends with me was in the same class. Actually he failed the entrance test yesterday, but his father's money is thicker than his pride." Reina said it was accompanied by a lyrical laugh.
The reality in life today is that money reigns above all else. Even self-esteem seems to be subject to the power of money. As long as the money was piled up thickly, all business was taken care of. Very depressing.
"is there no way of peace between you?" Meika asked and then sucked back the mineral water in the bottle in her hand.
"I've asked him to make peace, but for him, making peace with me means losing. It's only natural that a fool thinks that way, not an oddity. His brain is shallow." Reina sneered with a smart impression.
Twelve-year-old girl with a pretty good mindset. Twelve-year-olds usually have no opinion so far. But Reina is another character who never existed in Meika's shadow.
"Are we not impressed as adults in the bodies of twelve-year-olds?" Meika said after hearing Reina's words
"Maybe we're lost in the wrong body."
And after thirteen years passed, Meika realized, they should have discussed something more critical. Or should he ask where Reina came from. So that their story has a starting point.
