That morning Ucy's doctor took Sekar aboard a freighter distributing canned or instant food to Tarempa. The smell on the ship was very pungent in Sekar's nose. Sekar repeatedly vomited because it could not stand the pungent smell. Doctor Ucy feels guilty seeing Sekar's body getting limp.
