It used to be when Ghul-a-val was still a fertile land.
A boy was born in a small village near the border of the Kingdom of Zoldia.
"The boy's name is Solomon Jerusian. Although male, he could use the Spirit just like the Princess Girl could..."
The image of a boy using all sorts of spirits appears in Ars's view and is accompanied by Iris's explanation.
"Solomon was a kind, wise and courageous young man. He never used the Spirit for his personal desires. Instead, he used his power to fight against the Rebel Spirit that threatened humans."
The projected image in Ars' mind continued to change like flowing water.
Solo saves human villages, defeats the Rebel Spirit, and protects his country from greedy conquerors.
Eventually, he began to be known as a hero, gaining status only second only to the king. Praising his achievements, the king even gave his only daughter to marry him.
The inhabitants of the kingdom praised the hero, hoping he would be the next king.
As long as Solomon is alive, the prosperity of the kingdom will continue. That's what everyone believes.
As Ars looks at Solomon's life journey, he can guess what happens next. And sure enough, Iris' narrative confirmed her conjecture.
"Some people were envious of his exploits and felt very offended. They were vassals and generals who had served the kingdom since antiquity, as well as elders of the Girl Princess who commanded the spirit."
(That's normal. Princess Girl has been in power for a long time. How could they leave their authority to men they looked down upon?) Ars silently muttered in his mind.
"They use all sorts of devious plans, trying to take down the hero, hoping to uncover his crimes. However, they did not succeed. Because they could not find a single flaw in that noble and virtuous hero." Iris' voice was filled with sadness.
The king's followers concocted an ominous account of Solomon, but their plans were thwarted one by one by the hero's own actions and behavior. Someone even tried to send assassins to kill Solomon, but they soon realized that it was in vain. Solomon is protected by the blessing of the Spirit at all times.
In the end, the evil plans of the criminals are revealed to the king.
"Anged with his cunning followers, the king ordered them to be sent to the Spirit as a living sacrifice. However, Solomon pleaded with the king to be lenient. Thus, the lives of the criminals are saved by the heroes they hate."
Heroes generously forgive them. No one has ever done anything wrong. Everyone has experienced mental weakness. He hoped that they could all work together for the prosperity of the kingdom, that was what he said.
(Neative and kind... Just like Areishia.) As a former hero in his fifth reincarnation, Ars knew the hero's kindness would only be self-defeating.
Then, the memory verifies Ars' words.
"People who tried to hurt her felt very ashamed and regretful. However, a small group of people hated him even more after this incident."
These followers look remorseful on the surface but secretly watch Solomon eagerly in hopes of finding his fault. Some people became loyal subordinates to Solomon while others maintained friendly relations with him.
And so, a few years later, the opportunity they were waiting for finally arrived.
"Jerusian Solomons. Pure, virtuous, and impeccable, he who bears the title of hero, performs a great taboo."
Saying that, Iris sighed deeply.
"And what taboo did he do?"
"He fell in love with the Elfim girl, who was the enemy of the kingdom."
The scene before Ars' eyes changed.
Next to appear was a picture of a forest girl with green hair and red eyes.
"Elder human Elfim people migrated from Astral Zero in the past. Their descendants are known as Elves. Elves allied with the Spirit to oppose the human kingdom in order to protect the Ancient Forest."
Several battles had taken place between the Zoldia Kingdom and the Elves. Although the number of Elves was not much, the forest spirit had tremendous power, therefore they were able to provide a strong resistance for many years.
The hero and the forest girl fought many times on the battlefield.
During this process, they fall in love.
The girl has betrayed the forest village that raised her, while Solomon has betrayed the kingdom.
Despite being married to the king's daughter, Solomon fell in love with an Elf and even had a child with her.
Knowing this was happening, the evil followers were overjoyed and secretly reported to the king.
They stated that Solomon was conspiring with the Elves and preparing to sell the kingdom.
"Hearing that Solomon was a traitor, the king became very angry. Then he ordered his generals to go on a punitive expedition to the Elf village where the forest girl lived."
The forest scene, burning in a red blaze, is shown before Ars's eyes.
The voices of the Elves, full of sorrow and hatred, echoed in his ears.
"The village was burned. Forest girl and hero boy... Killed."
That day, Solomon who was once known as a hero turned into an incarnation of evil.
He raised a way of rebellion against the kingdom, fighting alongside the spirit of the forest.
Against a former hero who single-handedly fought on many battlefields, the royal army underwent a difficult campaign.
But after months of fighting, Solomon fell into a trap and was eventually captured.
He was subjected to cruel torture. His throat was shattered, his entire body was stripped of his Spirit Seal, and his strength was taken away entirely.
Then in such a helpless state, Solomon was dragged before the people of the kingdom.
Today, Solomon, once known as the hero, is desperate for the first time, lamenting his own folly.
What has he protected all his life?
On the execution platform, he faced heaven and cursed humanity.
(He also experienced what I experienced.).
Looking at it all, Ars seems to see himself in the past. As a person who had been in that position, he understood the feelings Solomon felt.
"At that moment, a voice responded to him." Iris continued.
"Oh, what's the sound?" Ars asked curiously.
With a mindset that can arouse Areishia, Ars is not as sad as Est. Therefore, he could watch Solomon's past in peace.
"It was one of the Elemental Lords who made contact with him."
Iris said the name in a whisper.
"Light Elemental Master, Alexandros, Leader of the Five Great Elemental Lords. He tells Solomon that his beloved girl can rise from the dead if she uses the power of miracles beyond the human world. And that power will also give him strength."
On the execution platform, Solomon asked for the voice.
"The one who offers me temptation, how much does it cost?"
Alexandros.
"You will be the Demon King who brings chaos and destruction to the world."
Seeing the truth, Ars couldn't help but laugh out loud.
"HA HA HA HA HA.... Very humorous... The mastermind behind the appearance of the Demon King was actually the Light Elemental Lord, Alexandros, who was adored and worshipped by the Girl Princess and people all over the world. HA HA HA HA HA... It's laughable, I wonder what kind of expression Princess Girl showed when knowing this... HA HA HA HA..."
Iris was stunned to see Ars' reaction. He thought the other party would be sad or disappointed once he knew the truth. However, beyond his expectations, Ars laughed at the whole world.
He didn't know Ars wasn't from this world. It was normal for him no matter the fate of this world.
After Ars stopped laughing, Iris explained again.
"Solomon made a contract with Alexander and received miracles that transcended the human world. What happened after that as you can see."
After gaining the power of miracles, Solomon slaughtered all the people of the kingdom present.
Then he killed the king, killed his followers, killed the daughter who used to be his wife.
Inside the burning palace of the Zoldia Kingdom, he let out a fierce roar.
Therefore, the young Elementalist, who was previously known as a hero was reborn as the most fearsome Demon King in history.
Ars's gaze blankly opened his eyes, and saw before him the crystal.
"This is the truth I want to tell you. As another male Elementalist, you have to be careful of Alexandros. He doesn't look as good as he looks on the surface." Iris advised in earnest.
"Thank you for the advice, I'll remember."
Seeing Solomon's body required Iris, Ars's views on him have changed.
Unlike him who had Rinnegan to raise Areishia, Solomon had no other method of raising his wife apart from accepting Alexandros' offer.
If Ars was in Solomon's position, he would have made the same choice.
"The bad man is the good man who is hurt."
Leaving this sentence, Ars walked up to the Sacred Sword and pulled it off the floor, but Est did not give any response.
"Then I'll go."
His main priority now was to recover Rinnegan in order to awaken Areishia.
"Wait, Ars. I'm coming with you."
Restia hurriedly held Ars' hand and put on a pleading expression.
"Haaa... Alright."
Ars could not leave him.
Restia is suffering too. Used by Solomon against his will and treated like a tool.
"Goodbye, Iris."
Hugging Restia's waist, Ars nodded at Iris. Then he jumped at a speed exceeding ultrasonic.
"I pray that you do not suffer the fate of Solomon." Iris mumbled softly.
Then the Zohar Palace was shrouded in light and disappeared.
