...Chapter 49. An ambush....


I am currently in Dungeon Rank A as Porter for Team B of the Garuda Guild where this team has full-type members of Fighter who serve as Dealers, Tankers, Magicians, and Magicians, Healer and Porter.


Just as we were entering the dungeon all of a sudden, several skeletons attacked us but the tanker shields resisted their attacks and the Dealers finished off the skeletons and were sealed off by the witch fire.


Then, the Healer girl analyzed something. "Is there something strange?"


"What's that?"


"No. But .. Skeleton is a Rank D monster. Since they were too weak it should not dare to attack a Hunter that was stronger than them. Even if they were in groups, they wouldn't dare."


Then, I noticed that the skeleton had its own symbol on its forehead.


"They're not skeletons. Someone's keeping it."


Then, Atha guessed something "That means something has kept them alive and made them slaves."


I can't deny it however, it's more precise that there are intelligent monsters that send skeletons to hunt the intruders even I suspect there will be stronger Undead monsters in front.

Then, the other High Zombie jumped while swinging his axe towards Atha but he could hold it even so, the other High Zombie also started its attack on all the Team members.


And, a fight ensues in which the Tankers and Dealers are cornered by the High Zombies.


High Zombie which has a great power accompanied by its regeneration magic makes the Hunter difficult even Tanker to give a warning.


"They're after the Mages, be careful!" yell at one of the Tankers.


Then, one of the Fransiska was quite confident against one of them.


"Don't worry! We are not easily defeated!" fransiska exclaimed as she cast her fire magic and attacked one of the High Zombies.


Even so, the High Zombie was able to withstand the magic and continued to run towards the Mage.


"Damn! The magic doesn't work! Her magic endurance is too strong!"


Then, the lightning Mage took out a chain of lightning to bind the High Zombie.


"They're too strong! I can only hold it for 10 seconds!"


The summer mage replied, "That's enough. Fulfill my call and destroy my enemies!"


A moment later, there appeared a knight of fire-bodied as well as his sword. Then, the fire knight attacked the High Zombie.


In my observation, that fire kstaria has an ability equivalent to Hunter Rank A. However, that Summoner could not perform any more magic attacks because it would drain his mana.


"Where am I at her limit ... Damnit damnit! I could destroy it if only I could summon it again!"


On the other hand, one of the Tankers failed to withstand the attack of High Zombie to make him have to retreat away from High Zombie and one of the Healers treated him.


"What is the tanker doing?! Protect the back line!"

There was also a Healer who was captured by a High Zombie with his one hand, "Heal! Heal!"

This is exactly as I thought. Although this was Dungeon Rank A however, the presence of 22 High Zombies was not their guess.


In my understanding, High Zombies are different from ordinary Undead! They are the strongest species among the Undead.


One High Zombie is even almost equivalent to one Hunter Rank A and here they are in groups which means this is like 17 against 22.


Not only outnumbered but High Zombies were no match for Rank B Hunters.


On one side Hunter Rank A is stronger than this High Zombie. But, on the other hand, if Hunter Rank B is killed first, it will suffer a big loss.


They have no other choice. There are victims that cannot be avoided.


Atha complained upsetly, "Dust! They should have measured the Dungeon properly!"


On the other hand, there was a High Zombie who stood behind Hunter Rank B while swinging his large axe and severed his right shoulder.


"Let's!"


Then, the black-haired Summoner girl suddenly jumped up and ordered the B rank Hunter, "Retreat!" after that, he summoned a centipede monster and tied the High Zombie.


After that, the Healer girl approached Hunter Rank B.


"Hold a minute!" exclaiming Girl Healer.


Then, he cast a healing magic which was capable of healing the severed hand intact back as usual.


At the same time, the High Zombie managed to kill the centipede that was holding him and stood in front of the Healer Girl who was healing.


"Damn! He's alive!" exclaiming girl Summoner.


Then, the High Zombie swung its axe towards the Healer girl.


However, the entire team B group did not know that I had put the bag on the wall and disappeared using the Stealth skill.


After that, I slashed the neck of the High Zombie and fell in front of the Healer girl whom he muttered confusedly.


"A-What ... just happened?"


I ignored him and decided to help the others by slashing the joints of the legs and hands of some Orcs so that the Hunters easily defeated them.


When Atha managed to slash the High Zombie, he was astonished.


"What's? I don't know why this battle ... " Atha saw another Hunter where they also easily defeated the High Zombies. "... So it's easier."


It was only natural that I had weakened them as much as I could without being discovered.


Although there were some who were aware of my presence however, I killed him.


The moment I stabbed one of the High Zombies, an empty-handed Hunter hit and fell.

The problem is not there. But, because of her splashes of blood on me.


All Hunters here including Atha are Elite Hunters chosen by the Garuda Guild and considered the best in the country.


Not that I don't trust their abilities. But, High Zombie is not an easy opponent to defeat even I was forced to take action when I saw the Healer Girl almost die before her.


Because I can't sit around watching them die.


Apart from that, the system even tells its results.

Seeing that, I realized that I could level up just as Porter. Although the truth is, I could have killed them myself but, since the Garuda Guild has already paid a lot of money for this Dungeon right then I shouldn't have interfered too much.


This is the best I can do for them.
