Chapter 11: Devil Clown & Magic Explanation.

"Hard to believe. It turns out Magic even exists on Earth." Akane could only mutter with astonishment mixed with horror, after she got the answers to all the questions she had from Dafa.

Sora agrees, though she quickly focuses more on how great Dafa is, having managed to realize such a thing.

The realm that passes through the "wall" is known as True Magic.

Modern magic was inferior to Age of Gods in terms of magnitude, because the Casters of that era had obtained their Magical Energy from the Swirl of the Root directly.

Swirl of the Root itself, or more often referred to as Root by the Caster, or also can be referred to as the Akashic Record, it is a place outside the universe itself, not bound by space and time, where it files everything about the universe, be it his past, the whole present, or any kind of future, everything is in that place.

The difference between Modern and Traditional Magic can be explained by the difference of civilization – while the Age of God civilization exists side by side with Truth, the Age of Human civilization exists to seek Truth.
