Chapter 55

Muaz walked slowly to the supermarket near his new home. Buying snacks for the wife who lately likes to eat snacks. Muaz chuckled in surprise to see Hazel continue to chew something in her mouth, but did not make the woman fat. Hazel after eating she likes to walk around just to make her happy.

"hmm which snack should I buy?" murmured Muaz stared at the array of food available there. Just as Muaz was about to pick up one of those snacks he heard vaguely someone behind the food shelf calling someone. Muaz slowly approached the place, and was surprised to find Liam looking at him cynically.

"you?! what are you doing here huh?!" the circus Muaz immediately grabbed the collar of Liam's shirt. Liam chuckled softly, then brushed off the hand of Muaz who grabbed his shirt.

"we have to talk, do you want to be here or somewhere else?" ask Liam without a stale base. There was no reply from Muaz, He took the origin of the canned drink and paid for it. Muaz clucked resentfully following the man from behind. The two of them walked into a small narrow alley. Liam turned to look at Muaz.

"leave my wife, and never show your face here again."

"are you crazy?? she's my bundle!!. I'll never leave her in the slightest!" muaz snapped again, he stared hatefully at the man who was none other than his own stepfather. However, the status of the man in front of Muaz is already married to his mother, automatically the status of this man is his stepfather now.

"he is indeed your mother, but because your arrival makes her now more silent and does not reveal the sweet smile that she always showed me. You're just a bully."

"disturbers? you said I was a bully?? are you crazy to say all that. You don't realize you're a whiner!!"

"later I will explain Az, which is important now that I want to talk to the man." show Hazel slowly walking closer to Liam, Muaz immediately prevents Hazel from approaching the man.

"don't come near. I don't know what's going to happen to you" Muaz warned of taking Hazel one step back. With a distance of two meters made him quite untuk talk to the man.

"sir Liam Alfred you're under arrest for altering the evidence for the murder of Edmon Bark five years ago, which made Muaz Edmon Bark the perpetrator of the time." hazel said, showing the arrest warrant that just came out. Now he has found evidence, and it's all thanks to you. During those two weeks Hazel received a call from Mother to quickly arrest Liam. Hazel is very grateful to Mommy for helping her solve this case. However, the mother said do not tell Muaz everything, Hazel immediately responded to the request of her favorite in-laws.

Liam seemed calm after seeing the arrest warrant, he did not feel there was a big burden that he carried. Even two people who handcuffed his hands he was not seen being detained, with the rest of his life he handed himself over to security.

What is this jerk man planning??. murmured Muaz inwardly still suspicious of Liam's actions. Liam casually walked into the police car, before he spoke slowly as he passed Hazel. "just wait for the play date" he said after that he got into the car. Muaz was astonished to see the look of Hazel's expression that looked tense, he immediately approached his wife.

Maybe I will ask later after Hazel calms down, murmured Muaz immediately brought Hazel home after a short conversation with a colleague who was with Hazel earlier.

At home, Muaz turned on the lamp and sat Hazel in a sofa, and made a cup of warm tea for Hazel.

Hazel just silently thought about what Liam said earlier, the words look like a trap or something bad can happen to her someday. But, now he could not reveal anything for now the man meant.

"drink." said Muaz offering warm tea to Hazel, Hazel immediately received the tea made by her husband and took a slow sip. Muaz immediately sat on the table facing Hazel with a fixed look, "don't be afraid, I'm here. You don't have to worry about anything that guy says. You just think about yourself and our son. Do not let you stress even interfere with the health of our child in your stomach." said Muaz while stroking the stomach of Hazel who began to look distended.

"but I'm still worried about Az, what if he's really doing something that's not-nothing??" worried that Hazel looked at her husband.

"what did he say to you?" muez asked him to fish so Hazel would tell him what the man was talking about.

"he said just wait for the play date. I'm sure it's not a good thing Az, Varagay—" Hazel's speech interrupted as Muaz hugged her tightly.

"don't think too much about it, he deliberately said it that makes you anxious. We must not be provoked by his words. Liam is very cunning, so be careful."

Hazel looked a little calm and nodded softly in approval to her husband's proposal, "alright."

As the trial began, Hazel issued evidence to the judges, the evidence Hazel brought was reinforced by the witness of Ratih's mother who had a glimpse of the incident that night. But, as long as the trial went on Liam showed no expression of guilt even after being traced again to another shocking fact from the man, the man looked calm.

Hazel was horrified to look at Liam who was just sitting there listening to the judges and talking, the man was not using a lawyer. Hazel is shocked to learn that Liam not only killed one person but dozens of them were slaughtered by the ruthless man.

After talking, Liam was finally decided to go to jail forever his life. And Muaz's name is now cleared of the hookup to the murder. The people who witnessed the trial immediately cursed and sneered at Liam. However, the man seemed calm following the police officers who were guarding him. The men felt guilty to Muaz not trusting the man. One by one, Muaz was welcomed by them.

Hazel felt her stomach suddenly hurt, she accidentally grabbed the shoulder of her husband who happened to be talking to her Papi. Muaz was shocked and turned to look at Hazel who grimaced with her stomach.

"Ha-hazel what's wrong?" muaz asked frantically looking at Hazel in pain. Without further ado, Muaz carried Hazel into the car and took her to the hospital.
