Angelina who was listening to the conversation of her husband and mother-in-law now frowned as she opened her lunchbox and her sensitive nose immediately smelled a strange scent on the food.
'What is this?' Angelina brought the food closer to her nose and was very surprised when she immediately smelled a scent identical to the poison that had been smelled from the food.
"What's the matter, baby?" Tanya You noticed Angelina's face that looked unkind.
Angelina immediately raised her face to look at her mother-in-law and looked at her husband, "oh, this food is not edible, it seems to have gone stale" said Angelina.
"What?" You frowned seeing Angelina who was now about to close her food.
But not only did Angelina finish closing the food when Lady Jenkins' hand outstretched to take the food from Angelina's hand.
"Let's check it out!!" Mrs Jenkins said she had checked the food and found out it was still fine.
Cuisine in just a few minutes the food immediately turned stale? So ridiculous!!
"It's not stale, obviously still very fresh!!" Mrs Jenkins put the food back on the table.
But Angelina immediately said, "no, I won't let my husband eat any unworthy food. I'm gonna call Marlin so he can come with some other food."
Angelina's words instantly made Miss Jenkins blood high because her plan must not fail!!
"Are you stupid?!! Your husband is starving!! It's over an hour from the real meal!! You want to make your husband sick from hunger?!!" Snapped Miss Jenkins!
Angelina looked at the woman in front of her while furrowing her brows, 'she should not insist on checking the food. If she did love her son, she would never check out the food I said was stale. May the poison in the food be his own?' Angelina thought inwardly feeling annoyed at her mother-in-law.
Angelina now guesses the meaning of the woman that she wants to trap him by sacrificing her son.
But he couldn't possibly let it!!!
"No, my husband cannot eat that food!!" Angelina quickly called Marlin.
But his call was not yet connected when Mrs Jenkins vexedly offered food to her son.
You sighed while taking food from Mrs Jenkins' hand made Mrs Jenkins very happy.
Angelina looked at her husband in annoyance, even the mobile phone that was still in her ear.
"Hello Mistress?" Marlin's voice from across the phone had been ignored by the woman because she was focusing on seeing her husband.
'Is he going to eat that food?!!' Angelina felt annoyed in her heart.
But the next second, he saw the man take the lid of food and close the food.
"Right now my wife is in charge of my health, so I will follow whatever my wife says!!" Said You made Madame Jenkins glare her eyes in disbelief at You's words.
"So you trust your wife more than your own mother?!!" Ask Mrs Jenkins.
You sighed, "Mom, we're married, so mom can't get too much of it to interfere with both of our affairs. My wife can tell which is good for her husband and which is not good." Say You.
"What?!! So you're thinking that what I'm doing right now isn't good for you? You think that mom wants to harm you?!!" Snapped Mrs Jenkins in a fit of rage.
"No, I see, ma'am, but I also have to trust my wife." Said You staring at Angelina who had told Marlin to come to deliver food.
"Thank you my dear!!" Angelina said she was very happy.
"Together," said You pulled Angelina into his arms and landed a kiss on the woman's forehead.
The scene of affection in front of her made mistress Jenkins want to spit out her entire stomach for not believing that in front of her herself like that Angelina and her son dare to behave like that!!
Though, both of them knew that he was very against the relationship of those two people!!!!
'O yes, I have to leave now or Sherin will be here soon with stomach pain medication. They will be suspicious if this is exposed, ' said Mrs Jenkins inwardly now aware of what she had done.
