Raina deliberately dressed modestly so that her besiegers did not look down on her.
The woman even deliberately sprinkled a little powder on her face and went downstairs and saw the back of a man standing behind her.
The woman frowned in a haughty manner to her daughter-in-law, but even so, Raina kept approaching her and said, "why don't you sit down?"
Mr. Jenkins who heard Raina's voice immediately turned around because he felt very familiar with the voice.
And sure enough, when the gazes of the two met, they both looked at each other in silence.
"Will Raina?" Said Mr. Jenkins who was surprised to see the woman in front of him was a woman from his past.
Raina let out a long sigh and the woman said, "sit down, the waiter will come with tea soon."
Without waiting for Mr. Jenkins to answer, Raina immediately sat on one of the couches feeling very strange, because she felt that Mr. Jenkins was watching her so closely.
Therefore Raina lifted her face and looked back at the man in front of her, "sit down, didn't you come here to talk about your son's relationship with my daughter?" Raina asked directly to make Mr. Jenkisn sigh then the man sat on the sofa in front of Raina.
"So Angelina is your daughter?" Ask Mr. Jenkins when he's already sitting while staring at the very familiar woman in his memory.
Smiling softly and nodding her head, Raina then said, "yes, I didn't expect that my besan turned out to be you, oya how are you? I heard from Angelina that you and your wife are so busy with work that you haven't met."
Mr. Jenkins looked at Raina's warm and tender face and then the man thought of the woman in front of him, 'so Angelina lied to her parents that we didn't actually accept her in our family?'
Looking at her silent besieging, Raina moved her lips again, "Why are you just silent? Did I say something wrong?" Raina asked as she watched the man who seemed to be hiding his feelings.
Mr. Jenkins shook his head then the man looked at a waiter who had come politely to bring them drinks.
Raina smiled at Mr. Jenkisn who was watching the tea that the waiter was steeping, "this is the white flower tea from the south mountain, and the, my daughter ordered it because white tea is to soothe stress and make quality sleep at night. Drink it if-"
"Enough!!" Suddenly Mr. Jenkins snapped making Raina speechless then the woman calmly looked at the man in front of her.
"What's wrong with you?" Raina asked who was surprised to be snapped by the man.
Looking at the woman who seemed to always patiently face him despite being yelled at, Mr. Jenkins could not bear to stand up then the man looked at Raina who was also looking at him, "I have to leave now!" Said the man then stepped away without waiting for Raina to answer.
"What's wrong with her? Shouldn't she be happy that her son is married to my daughter?" Raina said with a sigh and the woman stood for a few minutes before entering the villa.
As soon as she arrived at her room, she saw that her husband was already sitting on the edge of the bed looking at her.
The man with a slightly dark skin due to the sunburned instantly stood up to Raina and hugged Raina tightly.
"What did that man tell you?" Burhan asked, feeling very jealous, to see his wife talking to Mr. Jenkins.
Raina hugged her husband back and said, "did you see us?"
Without loosening his arms, Burhan said, "Hm, I saw you from the balcony but couldn't hear your conversation."
Raina nodded, "Aahh, she only came to see her son, but since You was already sleeping, then she hurriedly left because there was an urgent job," raina replied that she did not want to make her husband anxious because of Mr. Jenkins' strange attitude.
"Alright, then let's go to bed," Burhan said loosening their arms and the two men climbed into bed with the sleepless Burhan.
The man looked at his beautiful wife while thinking inwardly, 'they used to be best friends, then Raina also told me that Burhan had told her his feelings, but they could not unite because of too different status.
'But now, isn't the man in charge of his house? It shouldn't be hard for him to, no!! No!!!' Burhan let out a long sigh and the man hugged his wife and tried to close his eyes.
Wish something he thought wouldn't happen.
