Arriving at the Hotel, the three of them walked together to the event venue, which was at the Ballroom.

Joy took Evelena's hand so she could keep her distance from David.

Then Evelena also introduced Joy to some of her relationships. Joy also socialized with the company's top brass including the CEO of the company now held by Chaser Beck, a subsidiary of the company's owner.

"Hello, Joy. How are you?" ask Chaser.

"I'm Great, oh yeah where's Bella?" joy asked Chaser's fiancee.

"He was taking food like that" Chaser replied.

"Poor chaser. Meet David, Jonathan's son, "Evelena said.

"Ah, sir Jonathan didn't come?" ask Chaser.

"Daddy's not feeling well, so I'm representing him. Thank you for the invitation," replied David kindly.

"May you enjoy this simple feast" Chaser said.

Evelena knew Chaser from childhood and in fact Chaser had his own company. But the great lord still wanted Chaser to take care of his father's company.

"Mommy's gonna take a drink first, baby," Evelena told Joy.

Joy nodded and still chatted with Chaser and David.

"In a moment, I have to welcome my special guest" Chaser said as he waved his hand as if calling someone.

Joy looked at Chaser's hand and almost choked when she saw Ocean walking towards them.

Ocean whose eyes were sharp of course saw Joy there. Joy can't go anywhere and is stuck there.

"Hello, Cean. Thank you for coming" said Chaser shaking Ocean's hand and hugging her.

"Ah yes, this is Joy and this is David" Chaser told Ocean.

Ocean looked at Joy without seeing David at all and David didn't like that.

Joy was wrong because of this. He doesn't know what to do.

Chaser took a drink from the waiter who was going around and gave it to Ocean.

"Thank You," said Ocean smiling.

Chaser introduced Ocean to David and Joy. He also told about his encounter with Ocean and the business they went through together.

"Would you dance with me?" ask Ocean to Joy.

Chaser looks at David as Joy comes with David.

"Hmm, alright," Joy replied trying to relax.

Then Ocean pulled Joy's hand onto the dance floor and pulled her waist tightly against it.

"Did you forget my message, Baby?" ocean said in Joy's ears as she danced casually.

"I didn't know he was coming to my house. Mommy didn't say it. You mad?" ask Joy.

Ocean looked into Joy's eyes.

"Can't you refuse your mother's orders? I'm sure that you haven't told mommy our relationship yet" Ocean said in a calm, albeit slightly upset manner to Joy.

"Tonight I'll say it" said Joy.

"No need, I'll say it right now" Ocean said.

"No, Cean .. please," please Joy.

"You don't believe me?" ask Ocean.

"Not so, I want to talk to mommy one-on-one" Joy replied with a worried face.

Ocean looked at Joy's blue eyes and looked at her sharply. He tried not to be emotional because of Joy's attitude that always made him upset at the end of this.

Ocean kisses Joy's lips briefly and leaves Joy shocked.

"Cean, what are you doing?" annoyed Joy with a slight whisper.

"I kissed my girlfriend, is it wrong?" said Ocean lightly.

"Cean, this isn't funny" Joy said furiously.

She was only afraid if Evelena saw him.

Then arrived Ocean's shoulder held by someone and pulled his suit.

Ocean's hug slipped from Joy because of it. Ocean looked back and saw David.

"David, what are you doing?" ask Joy who's getting upset.

"He's not polite to you, Joy," David said.

"Look, people are looking at us. Ck," said Joy annoyed and left from there.

"Joy, wait," David goes after Joy.

Ocean followed Joy by a leisurely walk.

Evelena saw this from a distance and she didn't expect to see Ocean here. He thought Joy and Ocean had just met again here.

Evelena didn't catch up with Joy because maybe it wasn't her business. Joy is mature and can determine her own attitude.
