I enjoyed my dinner at a fast food restaurant, sitting relaxing next to a glass window while watching the motorists.
Busy days and holidays there is no calm in the streets of the city, always crowded with motorists regardless of where they go. But for sure they are looking for money for the necessities of life.
It is not easy to find money. Rainstorm heat will be lashed, mild to severe pain they still have to work, what else like employees who have a contract to work in the company and work with people. Need a license from the doctor of course, so they do not get sp and also unilateral dismissal.
Looking for a job in the city is very difficult, what else like I used to be a student. Many do not want to accept my application, but there are also those who want to accept it with us who must be able to manage the time so as not to collide with the work schedule.
Luckily I used to work in one of the cafes that received student status. Working after college and when late must be mandatory to replace the time on his day off.
I do have a scholarship at my college, but I don't have the cost of my life except to work odd jobs. Can't I ask the lecturer to take my life?
Funny if it is.
Getting a scholarship alone is grateful, what else is getting a life shelter.
I enjoy meat and vegetable sandwiches. Inadvertently my eyes caught two small children with one scraping through the trash and one looking at me out there with sad and sad eyes.
I smiled, reminding me like I was a little girl. I wave my hand at him, to come at me.
She smiled happily as she poked her friend to look at me. Again, I told them to come closer to me. Indeed they walked to me, but two little children did not enter the restaurant and they just stood in front of the glass right in front of my desk.
I know why they don't go inside, what else with the clothes they wear and barefoot.
My lips began to move and spoke without a sound. " Wait there." He pointed at the dining table with a large umbrella on it.
They nodded happily and sat down as I commanded.
I cleaned up the rest of my food, I started ordering food and drinks for the children and did not forget to wrap them for them at home.
I went out to meet them, carrying a tray with a restaurant employee that they might know I was having trouble bringing food alone.
" I'm sorry, old." I began to sit beside those who were waiting.
" It's okay, brother." The answer.
" Thank you, man." I said to the restaurant staff.
" The Same Brother."
" Have you washed your hands? If you haven't washed your hands there yet." Point me at the sink next to the entrance.
Nodding vigorously, ran towards watafel while laughing happily. So happy that I can feel it too. Small things that can make them happy with simple food.
Simple, but not with people like them who never eat fast food. Not because they are stingy, but indeed they cannot buy even though they can, but they will not want to buy it. Because restaurant food is fairly expensive with the money it collects a little difficult and only get one portion of food.
It is better that they buy it in an ordinary place, even though it tastes a little different.
This little girl reminded me of myself, eating voraciously and leaving behind many side dishes. It's a pity if eaten at once, because not necessarily tomorrow will be able to eat again.
I remember when I remembered my childhood. Every day haeus gulps his own saliva when my friends are so easy to buy snacks that they like and so delicious school food that his mother cooks every day.
It was so sweet, and it hurt when I held back tears with those who always mocked me.
But that doesn't mean you've never tasted good food. I once felt it, when I cried in front of my grandfather and my grandfather would try to make his granddaughter can eat good food like his friends.
I also felt guilty when I realized that my grandfather worked hard for me who only wanted good food without thinking about his health. It was enough for me to complain and ask my grandfather because I did not want to make him hurt and sick again.
And from that moment on I swore I would never waste and throw away the food I bought, for I felt the sting of hunger and how sad it was that there were still many hungry people out there.
He told me once.
" As little as you give, their prayer for you will be granted."
And yes, no matter how much I love them, they will pray for me and I will feel their prayer that was first touched by the creator.
" Thank you for buying us food!" Jolly little girl.
" Everyone." I said smile." Oh yeah, whose name is you."
" Keep."
" When you?" I asked the guy a little tall and sat next to the sweet girl.
" Ouoa...." Enthusiastic answer.
My forehead shriveled to hear his voice.
" His name is Umar sis." Answer the little girl. " He's mute." The impression, which made me now understand and nod.
" Where is your house?"
" There." Designate it.
" Far?"
The answer is Nodding together.
" Can Anterin's brother come home?"
Stare at each other and hesitate to answer.
" Well, if it's okay, next time. How's it?"
" Yes, next time, brother." Answer Keke little girl.
I'm not forcing them, maybe they don't want to be taken home or they still want to pick up old bottles on the street.
" Take this, make you eat at home."
" Thank you brother!" Jovial keke with Umar received the parcel of food that I had prepared.
I looked at them, peeked at each other big plastic and was thrilled to see what was inside.
Really, food like they can this that makes their hearts happy and not necessarily they will get back another time.
Seeing them walking together walked cheerfully without caring about the weight of the sack that was carried. I could only watch her until my smile faded and a single tear soaked my cheek. And the burly hand from beside me rubbed it gently.
Fathurs.
And I hugged her, buried my face her waist with her who began to gently rub my hair.
