"He's fine, there's nothing to worry about." Akashi was talking to his parents over the phone. It seemed that Masaomi and his wife had learned what had happened to Ushijima.
"Yes, I'll see you next week. Hope the work goes well, Pa." Akashi immediately ended his call with Masoami, he gave the Mobile back to his Father's personal secretary who deliberately came to take care of the administrative problems of the Hospital.
"How are you doing, Mr Kenta? Is he conscious?" akashi asked the private secretary, Kenta.
"Already, Seijuro. It looks like he is eating porridge now, because the doctor told him to fill the energy before eating the medicine and the wound is not too severe. Tomorrow we are allowed to go home" explained Mr. Kenta.
"Good, then all the news of his father. However Ushijima-san's father should know about his son's condition," orders Akashi who directly walks back to Ushijima's room.
There, he could see Ushijima who was sitting leaning back while eating porridge provided by the Hospital. And his eyes instantly widened upon seeing Akashi's arrival.
"You seem quite lustful with Hospital food huh, Ushijima-san." Akashi smiled, only to be relieved by Ushijima.
"It's good that you're back" said Ushijima, who returned to eating his porridge.
"Yeah, is that all you're worried about? It's worth your eyes like you want to come out when you look at me" Akashi said as he walked up to Ushijima's bed.
"Yes, I was stupid to sacrifice myself to face Eijun for you. I almost hurt my own hand" lamented Ushijima who usually never complained about anything, even when losing a match against Karasuno a while ago he did not complain to anyone.
Akashi, who listened to his complaints so he could not be angry, even felt very grateful to Ushijima. And with a very sincere smile, he closed his eyes and let his tears drip over the sheets of Ushijima's hospital.
"Thank you, Oniichan. I'm really very happy to be able to count on you" she said, visibly touched by everything Ushijima did yesterday. Truly something that has never been felt by him, because all this time Akashi can only live as a lonely only child.
"Basic stupid! You're not supposed to cry, not really reflect the you I've known." Ushijima ruffled Akashi's hair, unable to hide his happy smile as he listened to Akashi's reliable words.
Indeed that was Ushijima's wish, he only wanted to become a reliable older brother. Obviously, this desire is not solely due to his guilt feelings for Akashi some time ago, but because he began to realize his role and responsibilities as an older brother.
"You're right, I shouldn't cry. It's really a bad disgrace" he said, who immediately laughed and hurriedly wiped away his tears.
"You're actually a cute little sister, if you're not angry." Ushijima continued to ruffle Akashi's hair, before he finally removed his hand from it.
"I'm not that terrible," he lamented, then he remembered something.
"Oh yeah, I told Papa's secretary to call your dad. Maybe he'll be there soon" Akashi told me.
"Thank you" Ushijima responded.
"There's no need to thank me, you have a right to be worried about by others." Akashi walked towards the sofa that was also available there and lay down for a while on the sofa, maybe he was a little tired after staying up all night.
"I know I'll stay awake until my father comes." Ushijima also lay down and stared at the ceiling.
"Eijun's problem, has he been destroyed or what?" asked Ushijima who was rather curious.
"He's fine, now he's asleep in my subconscious. But I'll wake him up for the game, however I promised him. Besides, he's a great player and it's not appropriate for me to waste the talent he has."
"What if he makes trouble again?" asked Ushijima who was a bit worried, especially he knew that Eijun's mental condition was very bad.
"I will rely on you to prevent him from causing trouble again" Akashi replied.
"You have to rely on me, because I'm your brother." Ushijima.
"Yes, when we were enemies and now I have to acknowledge you as my older brother." Akashi closed his eyes and recalled what happened to him while under Eijun's control.
"At that time, I was really scared. Thinking of being an absolute person, I didn't even realize that my weakness was myself. I look more like an atomic bomb that can harm myself or others, if it gets out of control or lets the other me take over my body." Akashi set his breath for a moment, before speaking again.
"And when you see the great game of Eijun and your chaotic and unique basketball game without giving up. I began to understand that Basketball was a fun game, I could still feel the sensation even though it was Eijun who was horned against you. I really like Basketball, no matter what I lose or win. I will still love Basketball and will not feel depressed again if at any time my game ends in defeat," Akashi murmured to Ushijima as if he was pouring out all his feelings about his love for Basketball.
"You are not someone who seems to run away from trouble easily" Ushijima said.
"Yes, of course. I'm a great person in this world" said Akashi, who yawned several times and began to fall asleep on the couch.
Ushijima who saw his sister was asleep can only shake his head, he knows surely Akashi is not only tired from staying up all night but he is also tired after spending a lot of energy in yesterday's game.
Meanwhile, Ushijima who felt bored decided to play mobile phones in hopes of overcoming his satiety which was a bit lonely left asleep. And he himself was not sleepy to just close his eyes.
Until his attention was on Akashi who sounded delirious for a moment, like the problem of fried chicken at that time.
"I hope time doesn't pass this fast, I'll get lonely again." He only said it once, but was able to keep Ushijima in mind. I don't know what Akashi is dreaming about right now, but what is clear is that the dream he is experiencing now must be a reflection of his own mind.
"You're right, time goes by fast. Do I have to renegotiate about my Voliku scholarship? But, living in this country won't make me grow, what kind of decisions do I have to make?" his question was repeatedly beginning to worry about the entire planning he had designed a year ago.
