The Mystery of Pocong Ghosts in an Empty House

Usually the empty house in front of my residence is always noisy at night. A group of teenagers use it as a gathering place.

But these few days they did not see each other again. I don't know, I'm reluctant to find out. What is clear is that there is a sense of comfort now, because there is no need to hear all the noise that has been quite annoying.

Actually, I once reprimanded them, but the basis of stubborn character, when reprimanded they were silent and nodded, at other times, again they gather and make all the noise from the mouth or guitar playing that is not desirable.

The most annoying thing in Ramadan. The month that should be the right time to be solemn worship, eh this is even mixed because of the work of the teenagers, it is, because they were almost all night long with a guitar game plus a discordant song that seemed hard-hitting by them.

That afternoon after work while sitting back and enjoying a warm coffee, my wife sat down beside me.

"Mr Cape?" Her soft sweep while gently twitching my arm.

"Well, a little" I said. I took the newspaper lying on the table and turned it over.

"Eh Mas, you know why the front house is now quiet no one is at a get-together anymore?"

I turned to my wife, "Where do I know? From a few days ago I noticed that I had not seen any more of the wayward teenagers, thankfully also if they were not based there, the atmosphere became calm now."

My wife looked at me for a moment, as if there was something she wanted to say but she hesitated. My forehead wrinkled. "Do you know the cause?" Many finally.

My wife nodded slowly.

"What?" Ask again.

"Anu Mas, this he said, said Mbak Iyah who lives next to the empty house..." For a long time he did not continue his words.

"Eh? Say, you're making me impatient," I said.

My wife's eyes glanced at the door. And when he looked back at me, his mouth whispered softly, "The children are terrified... Said they saw a ghost in the house..."

I couldn't seem to swallow hearing my wife's answer. "ghosts? What ghost..?" Now I'm the one who makes a soft voice.

"ghosts... Ghost pocong Mas..."

Hiii! I did not feel shudder at my nape, even though I only heard from his mouth the worry was spreading in my chest. Ghost pocong!? In front of the house. If it's true so serem also if out at night.

There was an invitation for a study tonight. At the house of Mr. Dullah, a little far from home, fortunately together with Mas Cipto, the husband of Mbak Iyah.

At half-ten we just came home from Mr. Dullah's place. The atmosphere is dark, because the sky is mega. I kind of accelerated my steps to get home quickly.

Apparently Mas Cipto who was shorter than me felt overwhelmed.

"Hurrying too much? My feet ached all of this" he said.

"What are you afraid of?" Ask Mas Cipto.

I was almost lost and did not continue my words. "Oh no, I'm just afraid it might rain" I replied.

The middle-aged man smiled. "Fear of rain or fear of others?"

"Yes to the rain, what are you afraid of besides that?" My reply.

"Aren't you afraid of the same white-and-white jumping?" What came out of Cipto's mouth really surprised me. I stopped my steps, my eyes wildly looking right and left.

"Ohh Mas. It's good about that don't discuss."

"Ha ha ha..." The man suddenly laughed, laughing as if laughing at my fear.

"Yeah, even laugh like that Mas, already ah, let's go home, yeah, I was afraid to meet the creature Mas.."

The man next to me stopped his laughter, "Not Mas.no. I'm not laughing until I was scared, I just didn't expect the fake ghost act would make Mas too scared" he said.

I'm rattled. Stupid ghost? I looked at his face trying to ask for an explanation.

"Hey, don't be so serious, all right, I'll explain about the phantom ghost I mean, come on while walking home..."

Then while returning to continue the steps, Mas Cipto tells the real events that happened.

According to him, at first there was no thought to do a prank, but really, the noisy voices that are caused by teenagers who live in an empty house are so disturbing, he said, and the more furious he was when reprimanded well still not in the gubris.

The idea then just emerged when his wife was seen praying wearing white mukena. He will teach the children a lesson by pretending to be a ghost.

And the plan is executed. At midnight, he took his wife's face and slowly headed to the empty house, after wearing the face he brought, he put his body in front of the door.

He succeeded, although he soon showed his body and back inching out, but it was enough to make a stir of the young people inside, he said, they were hysterical and scattered running out after seeing the appearance of a white-and-white creature.

No matter the news is excited, the teenage children have told me everywhere the spooky experience they experienced.

I gaped upon hearing Mas Cipto's words. "God!? So it was pean tho Mas? Really not expecting. Does Mas's wife know what happened?"

He shook his head, "No, only the paan knows, if I tell you the truth, I'm afraid the wayward teenagers are going back to the empty house again" he explained.

"True mas.." I said while nodding. The feeling of fear is still gone I no longer feel after what Mas Cipto has told me.

And until now the empty house remains empty, the teenagers no longer dare to step foot there. The secret about ghosts remains a secret between me and Mas Cipto, because I also do not want the empty house back to be a base for teenagers to fill time with noisy voices.

So-called.
