SUPERBIA

SUPERBIA
For the sake of you

Friday, March 2, 2007

The atmosphere of the house is so crowded. There were many black-clothed men and women sitting and surrounding a human figure lying covered in long cloths. The crying and study of each other. There are a lot of flower boards out there.

A well-built man was carrying an unconscious little girl into the room. His face looked so swollen, but his tears flowed back as he laid the little girl on the bed.

"Tirta, it's time for the bodies to be laid."

Tirta turned to the door, then nodded. Once again, he looked at the face of his little angel who was closing his eyes. Then, gently rub her hair and move from there.

"Titip Anin, Mom," said Tirta while wearing a skullcap. His face looks really tired.

The woman called mother nodded while wiping her tears using the tip of the hijab. On his lap was another little girl looking innocently at Tirta.

"Bia, come with Papa, yeah." Tirta grabbed Bianca's hand, then took her away together. At least, there was one of the daughters who drove his mother away.

When the funeral procession was over, Tirta returned home. The sadness on his face seemed to be nodding heavily. His footsteps to enter the house.

"Assalamualaik."

"Getishalight." The hijab-wearing woman approached Tirta. Now the house has begun to be quiet, even feels very quiet.

"Well, Mom?"

"Not awake."

Despite waiting until the morning again, Anin still did not wake up. Although all means have been used to wake up the little girl. Eventually, Tirta took her to the hospital.

"Everything's normal. Anin is sleeping."

Tirta crunched forward, then clasped the doctor's white coat collar in front of him with red eyes. "But why hasn't my daughter woken up yet?!"

Doctor bergeming. He waited for Tirta to control him first. Only then, explained, "We try to get him up today. If not ...."

"If not, what? What?!" Tirta exploded again. He just lost his wife and let nothing be lost again.

"If not, then Nafla is diagnosed with a rare syndrome, namely Kleine-Levin Syndrome (KLS) or daughter sleep syndrome."

Tirta no longer knew what to do. He just shut up and came back crying.

All efforts were made to wake Anin up. Called his name, patted his face, shaken his body, even Tirta had whispered a plea in Anin's ear for his daughter to wake up immediately. However, not a single attempt succeeded.

Lucky, when fed, Anin still wants to chew her food. Until, on the third day Anin was brought home even though he had not yet awakened from his long sleep.

"Trauma, tired, or .. depression."

Tirta's tears are flowing once again. He was tired and wanted to give up. However, when he saw that there were two little angels in need of him, Tirta had to be strong.

Right on the eighth day, when Tirta was studying nearby, Anin whined, then cried. Tirta put down her holy book quickly, then ran towards Anin.

"Anin darling. It's papa, son."

Anin continued to cry with her eyes closed. It made Tirta's heart break to see him.

"Anin, wake up, baby."

Slowly Anin opened her eyes. Gratitude is not enough to express her happiness. He pulled Anin's body into his arms and held her tightly to the tears that kept flowing.

Anin is now, unlike Anin. The happy little girl cried more often. He was often caught climbing the wall to take photos of his mother, then hugged her tightly while sniffing.

Azar, the son of the Tirta family driver, who always followed Anin, could only sit nearby and cry. Then, offer her back. "Come, go, Anin! I'm carrying to the room."

Anin hugged Azar's neck, then climbed into the teenager's sling. He leaned his face against Azar's comfortable back, then fell asleep there.

Every time Anin slept, Tirta was always scared. She was afraid that her little girl would go back to sleep and never wake up again. What's more when he saw Anin crying hysterically every time he saw Firdus, their personal driver, Tirta became very vigilant.

In the past, Firdaus and Azarlah always drove Mama Anin to the motto. Until, perhaps every time he saw Firdaus, Anin remembered again with his mother. So, with a heavy heart Tirta dismissed Firdaus as a driver. Then, ask Firdaus and Azar to go far away.

Tirta also got rid of all the photos hanging on the wall. He also changed Anin's nickname to Nafla.

All for the sake of Nafla Afanin Tirta.

Apparently the ordeal is not over yet for Tirta. He was again tested with a doctor's diagnosis for his second daughter, Bianca. Bianca was confirmed to be affected by the same disease as her late mother, blood cancer, leukemia.

"You go with Grandma first, yeah, kid. Nafla everything to Papa."

Tirta does not want Nafla to return to depression if she has to lose Bianca, her beloved sister. Tirta did not want to lose Nafla either in the end.

"You go with Grandma first, yeah, kid. Nafla everything to Papa."
