Chapter 00: Prologue

September 18th 2XXX.

08.03 PM.

My name is Rom Steveins, 17 years old to 18 years old because today is my Birthday.

There was no one to accompany me here because I did not know who my parents were and how they looked because I was an orphan adopted by the Orphanage.

How do I know my birthday? Of course by being told by the Orphanage Mother who took care of me and several other people all this time. The Orphanage Mother found me at the doorstep of the Orphanage house just like the current date and so it was.

I, Rom Steveins, a normal man, 183 cm tall, a handsome slightly oblong round face with a nose that is not too sharp, has thick black hair sealis, skin as white as milk, and a, with black eyes like dark. The one who looks me in the eye will see darkness countless times away.

On my birthday, accompanied by bread filled with chocolates and small candles in my room, I stared at the small candle that was burning brightly in the darkness and tried to survive to keep the small fire burning.

I kept staring at the small candle and as bright as hope appeared in my mind. I began to pray that I would fold my hands and hope that I would be like a small candle that would survive in the darkness and remain burning even when exposed to small and large winds.

I finished my prayer and blew out the candle. Funny thing is, the candle is not dead. I continued to blow the small fire at the end of the small candle and in the end the small candle was extinguished.

I who saw it was just smiling, it looks like I will experience something good. I ate the chocolate bread and enjoyed it to the end. I looked out the window at the star-studded night sky and hoped tomorrow would be a good and pleasant day because I was 18.

"Goodbye to the past, good-bye to the present, and welcome to tomorrow, I look forward to you" I said with sleepy eyes. I close the window and go to bed and sleep with a bang.

I woke up from my deep sleep, folded up the blanket and tidied up my bed. Opening the window saw the day was still dark but of course it did not hinder me to wake up because it was a habit. I washed my face and changed my clothes with my SMK school training clothes. Looking at it in that shirt I feel nostalgic for my SMK days. What about my friends now? Yeah, I hope they're okay.

I started to change my clothes and put on my sports shoes. I opened the door and locked it again, I started warming up and started to stretch my leg and hand muscles before doing the morning run I often do.

Feeling that I was done with the warm-up, I started running at moderate speed, not running and also not walking normally. I spent up to 2 Km through a large road and around the surrounding housing.

I walked over and saw the big building in front of me, I walked through the building and I stepped on a piece of paper.

I shifted my legs and took the piece of paper. I can see that I found an Empty Cheque worth Rp.100,000,000,-.

"Wow, empty cheques are worth Rp.100,000,000,- !!" (One Hundred Million Rupiah) I said while wiping the sweat on my forehead using my right arm.

"Hehe, I'm lucky today. The hockey rarely showed up. It seems my hunch on yesterday was right. Haha, I keep it first, I'll exchange it in the bank." Rom said he was happy with a big smile while keeping the Empty Cheque in his leather wallet that had been torn.

I have exchanged the Empty Cheque for Rp.100,000,000,- that and put it into my savings account that I have made since entering SMK because there is a Banking party who came to the School offering free savings book creation.

I went home on my old bike to my house. Well, no suspicious people were seen around because of the tight bank guard and I was also always on the lookout for the surroundings. I think someone's been following me because I just got out of the bank.

I got home and saw my savings book that read nominal Rp.101.250.000,-. I'm so happy to see how much money I have now. Now I can go to college to continue my vocational. At the time of SMK I majored in RPL (Software Engineering).

I was also finally able to buy a Gaming Phone that I always admired and buy a Computer to work and play. With this money, it should be enough.

I started to open the Google website and look for a University that is suitable for my vocational and comfortable of course. I don't want to be in school having problems like SMK time. After searching for several universities, I finally found them. The University of Software Engineering and Computer Engineering Network Indonesia (URPLTKJI). I applied and managed to get in after a live test at the University. In addition to college, I also Livestreamed at YT and other platforms such as Game and Blog as my side job at leisure.

I, Rom Steveins have finished my studies well, and won 1st place both in school in theory and practice and also vocational competition.

At this time Rom and Illia are doing the completion stage in the work of the project entitled 'Project M.A.I. Illia approached Rome and touched her hands to appease Rome. After that Illia put security on Rom who was in both hands and feet also in his stomach to lock Rom's movement during the injection of 'Project M.A.I.'.

"Are you ready?" Illia asked to see a quiet Rom sleeping at the testing ground of the 'Project M.A.I.' trial.'.

"Whoops, READY!" Roman yells are strong. Illia who saw that smiled and started by pressing the red button in front of her.
