"Assalamu'alaikum, excuse me." Fatan knocked on the wooden door firmly, creating a sound that was loud enough that he was sure everyone inside the house could hear him.
Sure enough, before long we heard footsteps from inside the house. Follow the sound of the door lock being turned twice.
The atmosphere around the house has begun to darken, the lighting only comes from the lights in the houses of residents who are dimly lit. Fatan rubbed his neck which felt cold.
Chequelek
The door opened, a sweet girl's face poking out from there.
"Mas Fatan!" girang.
"Intan," said Fatan kindly, and let the girl whom he had considered his own sister scatter into his arms.
"Where's the father, Tan?" ask Fatan after diamond unravels his embrace.
"There's inside, again eat the same mother. Coincidentally, let's eat together, Mas." Intan pulls Fatan's hand into the house, with a smile and a way of being in a coquettish way.
But whether Fatan was familiar or indeed he did not have any feelings for diamonds, all of that just seemed ordinary in his eyes.
"Sir, Ma'am there's Mas Fatan." Intan said to his parents who were sitting at the dining table facing the dish that looked very tempting.
Fatan gulped at all the dishes that were ready to be eaten on the table, even Fatan himself forgot when he ate with such a complete side dish after parting with Dara first. The difficult life makes Fatan must refrain when the dish in his house is only limited to tofu and tempeh or vegetables that grow in the back of his house, even then it can only be cooked simply.
"Eh, Fatan. Come here to eat all of you," invited Mr. Sukri kindly.
"Yes, Fatan. Eat first, then just chat," added Bu Sukri while giving an empty plate to Fatan who is now sitting in a place provided with diamonds, right next to him.
" Thank you, Mum. I became not good, just came directly to eat like this." Fatan said softly.
Intan laughed and patted Fatan's shoulders gently, looking very familiar.
"Not bad, Mom. We know that if there is no good food in your house, that's why you're visiting at dinner hour like this?" intan's words sounded insulting, but somehow in Fatan's ears did not sound like that.
"Intan, you can't say that." Mr. Sukri warned the child.
But diamond only shrugged both of his shoulders indifferently.
"But it's true what the diamond says, sir. Isn't that right, Fatan? Your wife at home would never cook like this, right?" timpal Bu Sukri also supported the princess.
Fatan gulped, said Bu Sukri made him remember with Indi and Miss Maryam who at this time may not have eaten at all. Because the food supply at home was exhausted when he looked at the kitchen earlier, and maybe their house was already dark because it ran out of electricity tokens.
"Of course, what are you two talking about? Be quiet, let Fatan eat first." Mr. Sukri yelled at his wife and son who were just indifferent, but from the look of his eyes they looked happy to be able to insult Fatan indirectly.
"Come, Fatan. Eat first, take whichever you want," bargained Mr. Sukri while scooping rice to put on a plate Fatan.
"Thank you, sir. No papa let me take it myself," said Fatan sungkan.
Mr. Sukri smiled and handed the rice jar to Fatan, letting him take his own food.
"Eating a lot, Mas later at home there is no loh like this," chirped diamond while bribing food into his mouth.
Hearing that Fatan who was originally hesitant became calmer, and without a second thought began to insert various side dishes on the table into his plate.
"Well, this Fatan Mas does not work but eat the portion of porters yes," chirps diamond again make Fatan who will already feed food to his mouth become urinated.
"Witho!" sentak Pak Sukri stared intently at the child.
Intan.
"What the hell, sir? Shouts scream."
"It is silent, let Fatan eat quietly," said Mr. Sukri firmly.
Intan was silent, they continued to eat quietly until all the contents of each plate were left.
"It's done, diamond went to the room first yes, Mom." Intan got up from his chair and walked leisurely towards his room letting his dirty dishes lie just like that on the table.
"The father is also finished," said Mr. Sukri while moving to the bathroom to wash his dirty hands.
The fatan who felt he had to help started to get up and take the dirty dishes on the table and gather them together. Though in his house alone if not served he will be angry, but at home his diligent people beat the spongebob.
"Eh, Fatan. What are you doing?" asked Bu Sukri who had just finished putting the rest of the side dishes into the storage cabinet.
"This machine, ma'am.". Fatan said kindly.
The slanted smile on Bu Sukri's lips rose, then he quickly gave his dirty glass to the top of the pile of dirty dishes in front of Fatan.
"Then yea, these are also washed."
Fatan was stunned in his place, he thought he would be banned to help apparently even told to wash all of them. Damn the fate of Fatan tonight, usually at home he will be served but here it feels he is the servant.
"Why? You don't want to huh? Though we were kind enough to feed you," said Bu Sukri.
Fatan looked stunned, but immediately at the pull a little smile on his lips though forced .
"I-yes, Mom. Let me wash the dishes" he later said.
Bu Sukri smiled cynically then pointed towards the sink.
"Yes, please wash the clean ones. I want to go ahead first, do not get anything broken or still dirty yes it is expensive tableware," said Bu Sukri again.
Fatan gulped and nodded resignedly, after all he deserved to help because it had been fed. That's how Fatan thought.
Coinciding with that Mr. Sukri looked fresh out of the bathroom with a wet face, his face looked surprised to see Fatan carrying a pile of dirty dishes towards the sink.
"Well, why did you pick up the plate, Tan?" ask Mr. Sukri wonder.
But just about to open his mouth, Bu Sukri had already replied.
"Yes, sir. Even though I have forbidden to help even the fatannya maksa, yes mother can what. It's very good of this Fatan, sir. Just try tomorrow our daughter-in-law like this Fatan, must be very lucky for us, sir."
Fatan was more astonished to hear the last words of Bu Sukri, but I don't know what was in his brain until he still felt all of it was still within reasonable limits.
Sukri smiled back.
"Ah yes, what if the Fatan we take is just our daughter-in-law, Mom?"
