"You what?" ask Melin.

"You jealous?" ask Melin.

Melin thought the general's reason was very serious, apparently just jealous.

"Gosh, why are you jealous of me?!" Melin tried to stretch out the General's chest.

The reason the general protected Melin and Adrian was because he knew. He won't be able to get what he wants. Melin's love is just a dream that she can't possibly realize.

Now, hundreds of years ago, or 2000 years before today, Melin would never be able to Love her.

The general just kept quiet, a little bit of his feelings for Melin right now were indeed jealousy. He felt that it was unfair, why should he be born into a Half Demon Man after everything he passed.
