A wish

Ronald was reading the news through his cell phone in the room while sitting in a wheelchair facing the window, enjoying the breezy breeze that gushed into his room.

Nina was in the kitchen with Mbah Darmi, Darmi's house became rame since the arrival of her son and granddaughter, Pratiwi had also come with Hendra, they were traveling around the village to enjoy the atmosphere of the village, while visiting the homes of some of his relatives whom they have not visited for a long time.

Returning from the streets Pratiwi sat on the terrace releasing tired, while Hendra went to the back to take a shower, the roar of motor sound entered the yard of Mbah Darmi house, and, Pratiwi looked at the motorbike that entered his mother's courtyard.

"Er-rick!!" Pratiwi almost screamed when he saw a man who came to the house.

"Aunty Afternoon" Erick greeted Pratiwi kindly, unaware of the shock on Pratiwi's face seeing her presence.

Pratiwii was still shocked to see the figure of Erick standing in front of him, he did not answer Erick's greeting to him. Nina appeared and greeted Erick as usual as if nothing had ever happened between them.

Pratiwi looked at Nina and Erick who were chatting as a friend alternately, his mouth agape so naturally he felt incomprehensible with all this, Nina realized the shock of her mother quickly Nina shifted her conversation with Erick.

"Mah Nina was again fried chicken forgetfulness, wait a moment Rick you sit first here," said Nina while pulling her mother's hand into the house.

Inside the house Pratiwi immediately interrogated Nina about Erick , she was confused and curious why there was Erick in this city and they looked so familiar.

"Nina why is she here?" pratiwi asked Nina.

"Well it's a long story, Erick still doesn't recognize me Mah," Nina replied, reassuring her mother, who suddenly looked anxious.

"What if he remembered, and what if Ronald knew this," Pratiwi said half in a whisper, afraid that Ronald would hear his words.

It turns out that Ronald did listen to the talk of the mother and child from behind his room, Ronald was curious who Erick really was all along he had never heard a single bit about Erik in Nina's past, Nina, Ronald sharpens his ears trying to find information from Nina's conversation with her mother.

"Well, Nina has no feelings for Erick, Nina only loves Ronald until the end of Nina's life" said Nina firmly.

Ronald who heard Nina's words felt moved and shed tears, he was very sorry for not happy for Nina when she was still healthy, even he had betrayed Nina without cause.

Ronald wiped his tears and came out of the room making Nina and her mother immediately stop the conversation, Ronald pretended not to hear what Nina was talking to her mother.

"Where are you going, baby?" nina asked, as she saw Ronald coming out of the room with his wheelchair.

Ronald wears an automatic wheelchair so as not to bother pregnant Nina, she can still move the left part of her body, only the right part of her body is not functioning.

"I want to get out, bored in the room from earlier," Ronald said as he ran his wheelchair.

"There is Erick outside you can talk to both, I make a drink first yes," said Nina.

Ronald nods, Nina takes Ronald to meet Erick on the front porch, then she goes into the kitchen to make drinks for the two of them.

"Hi Ron, how are you?" greet Erick when he sees Ronald coming out.

"Hi Rick I'm glad you came" Ronald said with a friendly smile.

"Oh Ron, I heard you guys want to find a house here, it happens that the parents of one of my students want to move so the house wants to be sold, do you want to see it?" ask Erick.

"Hmm Rick, take me there now, and I want to walk with you" Ronald said.

"Sama Nina too?" ask Erick.

"No, just the two of us" Ronald said.

Nina arrives with two cups of coffee for Ronald and Erick, Ronald discussing his exit plan with Nina.

"Darling I want to go out with Erick?" ronald's pamphlets to his wife.

"Two streets?" Nina frowned, she felt astonished her husband wanted to go alone with Erick alone.

"Yes, I want to go around town with Erick alone, okay?" ask Ronald again.

"Oh okay, go baby I hope you guys have fun, Rick pick Ronald yes," Nina looked at Erick with a pleading gaze.

"Ready, I will take care of my life, Princess," Erick said as his hand saluted Nina.

Ronald and Nina laugh together at Erick's funny behavior, Erick also laughs at Nina and Ronald who laugh at him.

"But I'll get Rick the car keys" Nina said, rushing to get the car keys inside the house and back and handing them to Erick.

After drinking their coffee, Erick helps Ronald into the car, and takes Ronald to the house he told Ronald.

Along the way Ronald asks a lot about Erick, where he came from when he was in Semarang, Ronald wants to know if Erick ever had a special relationship with Nina.

But to the extent that Erick remembered he only told how he could be in Semarang and how to be close to the Nina family. Their conversation stopped the moment they arrived at the house Erick told them about.

Erick and Ronald get out of the car and meet the owner of the house, Erick helps Ronald sit in his wheelchair, after which Ronald operates his own wheelchair.

"So how many do you want to leave?" ronald asked the owner.

"This is actually a 1 M Pak market, you can see the land area, but let me release 800 million Pak, sir, I've been wanting to sell this house for a long time but yes the money is as heavy as possible people want to buy, this is because for our parents who are sick sir," explained the owner of the house, the man, a sad look on the man's face.

"Well I buy 1M because you really need money for your parents" said Ronald casually.

"Hah ..., I want to buy 1M!!" the man looked up and gawked at Ronald's words, Ronald nodding convincingly.

Erick who watched the scene was moved, Nina did not choose the wrong husband, Ronald a good person she was nothing when compared to Ronald. Erick secretly felt inferior to Ronald.

"Rick please help me take care of it, I want this house on behalf of Nina, this is my last gift to her, I don't know until when I can accompany her with my condition like this" Ronald said.

"Rick you ever been in Jakarta?" ronald asked when they were on the beach.

"Mmm ever, but I don't remember that time," Erick sighs he tried to string the memory piles in his brain but still can't be strung.

"Why?" Ronald's curious.

"I've had an accident and I don't remember anything Ron, I don't remember my past at all" Erick said regretfully.

Little by little Ronald tried to match the story of Erick and Nina, it could be that Erick and Nina had known each other and there was something between them, Ronald racked his brain trying to string and find the truth.

"Are you and Nina ...?" Ronald stopped his words, he looked at Erick.

Erick's face changes he suspects Ronald also knows his past about him and Nina, whether Ronald will hate him Erick feels wrong, he shook his head because he is actually confused by his past.

"If I could remember, would you be angry if I showed you something?" erick asked, his eyes looking into Ronald's eyes.

Erick took the wallet out of his pants pocket, he took out a photo from his wallet and handed it to Ronald, Ronald observed the two people in the photo, saw Erick and Nina smiling very happily.

"What?" Ronald wondered at Erick.

Erick took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, he began to tell her how he found out about the photo, and he also just found out who Nina was in her past, but unfortunately he did not remember a single bit about Nina.

Ronald stared at the open sea that stretched in front of him, it turns out true that Erick is part of his past Nina, both of them are now silent dissolved in their respective minds.

Erick dissolves in his mind that like a tangled thread is difficult to decipher and find the end, while Ronald is also struggling with his feelings which are also no less complicated to think about his own situation.

"May I ask you something Rick?" suddenly Ronald broke the silence between them.

"What is Ron, do you want me to stay away from Nina?" erick asked, he felt Ronald must be hating him at this time.

Ronald smiled and holding Erick's hand, he stared intently at the eyes of the man in front of him, Erick suddenly felt his heart quiver.

"Will you take care of Nina for me" Ronald pleaded.

"What do you mean?" Erick couldn't believe Ronald's words.

"I can't make her happy Rick, look at my condition right now, I want you to make Nina happy for me, I'm sure you love Nina as much as I love her," Ronald sobbed, her heart was really fragile, she had been stubborn because she didn't want to see Nina grieve.

Erick was heartbroken, he did not expect Ronald to be like this, two men who were in love with the same woman, both of them held tightness in the chest.

"Nina loves you Ron, I'm happy to see you both happy, there's no intention to take Nina away from you" Erick said.

"Please promise me Erick, I want you to promise me. I don't want Nina to be sad when I leave, I want you to look after her and love her and my son" Ronald said.

Erick is silent the burden that Ronald gives him is very heavy, whether he should be happy or should be sad with all this, how could Nina ever take him back, whereas he knows Nina loves Ronald very much.

Erick drove Ronald back home to Mbah Darmi, along the way the two just kept quiet without saying a word.
